Cardbored cut outs, Masters mate. Fish Dock number 1. Clangers, ok, what about the Soup Dragon. That had real body! I did prefer Dougal though, he had style and stamina. Everlasting, with Tom and Jerry. Solid Serenade was the best one, followed by
For the end of confusion, Grimsby had 4 fish docks. Fish Dock number 1 is where the worlds greatest seas creature live, the Scampi. It is freshly caught everyday by Mr Young and battered and crusted for you. Serve with lemon and chilli dip. For drink, have wobbleade as required.
Was not missing out & yestDi. Just that when I herd her new broom bit, I was thinking about flying home. And a picture visualised of & upon a broom aka ET style flying on the bike. Gosh, I think I must be on a bad batch of me beta blockers. Hic, hic, hic.
BagPus, Candles at both ends. Mhags says nite. Cleaned, sunshine. Washing dried. Chicken Tikka, and surprise. Kuwait, no it was Baghdad. Late, just in July 1990. Best Chinese ever. Packed lunch and breakfast. Now I am about to start my claw sandwiches. Bacon magic pie. What, no snorkers. I will come on to that. But the grins!! Come on KK, no more deary so. Grab a claw sandwich and glow. Christmas chocolates, all gone now.
2 nite will be a Scrabble Nite. Now last time BoPsie was in the lead and offered her BoP the best of three. And you all nose that BoP won 2-0. Just how good was that. My word for yesterdays game is: -
bOOZE, 13 points, b being a blank. Todays letters
AAEE CTT
5 Last nite was film night, an Ealing Epic. The Maggie. Quintessentially Melodramatic. And as it was in Black and White. True. Think it is free on the iPlayer some where. Or was it on Crackle instead. Never heard of the Crinan Canal before, but I now have.
3 Seem to have become all disordered since taking the new beat blocker. And I fear for the current BoPsie. This morning she did the milled oats, from Alford, and curdled crud, for breakfast. We sat and giggled at each other, and Raffles did his walk through. But we waited for the hiss of the kettle, that was on the back burner. No whistle. Went through to decrumple my face, (creams available) to find that the Porage ring was still on, and the back burner was off. Thinks it may has bin a bit too early for BoPsie, or her sight is fading.
4 Every time I come arounds this part of the parish, stumbling on my toes I note that some are not taking it seriously with regard to proper snorkers. Yesterday I had to correct CCP over the use of a Punch and Judy line. Now if it happens again, I will come round your plaice and tickle you necks with me hairy part. And as it was the thirst Sunday of the month, it has been sharpened by a trim, so nice and stingly for you. And Frith. It is Porage. Go and look at the pack with the man wearing a kilt.
1 See, I tells you so, afore it is0 -

Cumulative recent pleasures
Want to see dad. He was ok and my bro cooked great roast ies as ever
Went to a 50th party of old school friend, with old school friends. Was really nice to catch up and much laughs had and little buffet consumed :T
Yummy bacon sandwich at friends on Sunday morning. After sleeping in her ridiculously comfy bed
Decided to walk back across London from fen church st to Euston. Lovely sunny weather and took some photies
And others which will eventually make blog page- photobucket takes so long though, doesn't it?
Got home for 2 glasses of delicious red wine, which made up for unexciting pizza
Watched call the midwife, but have given up with musketeers
Went for walk yesterday,
Made marmalade and twinks hob nobs
Had long chat with pal
V felt she had good drama school audition Saturday but hasn't gone any further. They did give good feedback though for her to use at the next one on Friday. School teacher has helped too. Drama school said she would be a good candidate for their foundation course. I am not sure, it is so much money that isn't funded in any way and there are still no guarantees. I'd rather she used the money to fund a gap year and get some experience in life. Her friend got dreadful feedback but has been offered a recall.. Pleased for him cos he is a nice lad, but am at a loss as to what they are looking for. None of this is a pleasure as I am already fed up about it and there are six auditions left yet. I guess the pleasure is that she is ok with it
Clean sheets last night
Yummy. Stir fry for tea
Three loads of washing done
There was one from today that I thought I should put straight away before I forgot. And I've forgot :mad:I wanna be in the room where it happens0 -

There'll be none of that in this house, BoP!
Pleasures for today:
1) Not a bad sleep.
2) Smaller son had a good day at school and is proving very useful as the one that can calm the other boy in the base down.
3) Went to Leominster for charity shop shopping and got 2 Prestige cake tins, 2 books for bigger son and 1 for me.
4) Also got some Hereford Hop cheese (my favourite) so enjoyed that for lunch with some tomatoes and HM bread.
5) Going swimming later with sons and brother.
6) Holby later
and 7) Drum roll.... have spoken to "Cynthia" and am waiting for "Fred" to get back to me but..... we have an allotment! We are already hugely overexcited and imagining green houses/a shed/ compost heap and that we will be producing all our own vegetables, if not enough for the whole village. :-D0 -
Wrote to explain my post had disappeared but it was there all the time despite the ominous warning messages!0

3.Broccoli , pasta and cheese for tea.OH is having lamb (YUK) and roasties (YUM)
4. Sister picked up OH's suits from dry cleaners and used her staff discount and got £7 off. Just thanked her via text and she sent some weird message that was meant for someone else last month on it . Called her a weirdo .
5. Eating some lovely mint chocs left over from Xmas courtesy of DM.
Have a good evening all !:AToo fat to be Felicity Kendal , but aim for a bit more of the good life :A0 -
Frith - many congrats on your new allotment! :T
BoP - sorry, but to me they're snags, not snorkers - I confess I'd never even come across your word until I met you on this thread!
1) I didn't sleep well last night and have felt horribly dozy and fuzzy-headed all day, but luckily I had various things to do at work that could be done by my hands acting without much input from my brain!
2) Stopped at the shop on the way home to get some bread, and picked up a pack of snag plait and a pot of RM soup, both very RTC, so that's lunches sorted out for the next couple of days. :money:
3) Had a final read through my essay and, after a couple of minor tweaks, decided it was as good as it was going to get and sent it off on its way to my tutor. :j
4) Orange dinner tonight - chicken kiev with baked beans and a cheese-topped roll to mop up the bean juice.
5) Followed by Top Gear on iplayer - I have learnt the hard way not to try and watch it while eating, as it inevitably results in me choking while trying to laugh and eat at the same time!Back after a very long break!0 -
1. I had a nice lie-in this morning
2. Have written my final book review for uni assessment. (One of a gazillion things to do, so glad I can cross that section off the list already!)
3. Borrowed more fabulous books from uni library, I'm going to miss that place soooo much, so making the most of it whilst I can have 20 books out at one time
4. DD was very happy when I picked her up from the birthday party this evening.
5. Bought a new top from Mr S's sale rack, it should be good for school.
6. Had a great computer lesson, using Logo (yawn) and Scratch (yay!). Need to introduce DD to them as she's not had that pleasure yet
7. I've helped a chum out by copying some lesson plans for her.
8. DD and I are looking for fabulous events to go to at the Oxford Literary FestivalSo pleased I have a child who loves reading as much as I do!
9. I was given my official teacher number today - feel a bit grown up! We were given our letters after our slightly scary meeting about our next placement, with the reminder of what happens if we fail....(I'm NOT going to worry about that, I WILL put 100% into everything I do, like I did last time!)

Good evening everyone :hello:
I seem to be so very exhausted today. Goodness only knows what I've done to deserve this, other than working with small children.
Well, my pleasures for the day:
1) Wrapped the niece's birthday present, sending a mercy mission text to DH who had seemingly forgotten that the birthday was today!! Luckily they live nearby.
2) Boiled eggs and soldiers for supper. How old school!!
3) Topped up with petrol today, but managed to earn double Nectar points :j :j
4) DH has just made me a lovely cuppa.
5) Erm, can't think of a 5th one other than the fantastic support from everyone on here!Sealed Pot Challenge #021 #8 975.71 #9 £881.44 #10 £961.13 #11 £782.13 #12 £741.83 #13 £2135.22 #14 £895.53 #15 £1240.40 #16 £1805.87 #17 £1820.01 declared0 -
Happy Tuesday, everyone! Or what's left of it.
1) Am wearing my bargain cashmere jumper from the charity shop (£8.50) and enjoying it very much.
2) Tea consisted of left over chilli for DH and a gluten free ham sandwich for me, so it took very little time to put together.
3) Popped in to see an old colleague after work and enjoyed comparing our whacky families.
4) A new colleague has decided we should eat fish and chips together next Tuesday, just to be companionable. I do work with some nice people.
5) Have put tomorrow's tea in the oven and set the timer in the hope that it will be ready when we get in and not be cooking all through the night as I managed to do recently. We woke up at 3.30 in the morning to the smell of a very well done salmon side0
