  • Pleasures, later when the Mariners are on the radio. Highlights later.

You see, at 19 years old and wanting to be a nurse. You help your sister. Don’t you? Oh, and the chance to be a model thrown in. That was a fake, it was not you they were interested in. It was only a deterrent the thing in the pram. Used to get to the …

When she realised, the police were a miss. In 1963, who would believe a !!!!!! with a !!!!!! son! Rillington Place! Never recovered for 50 years. Never to be come a nurse! We can’t have nurses who behaved like that!

When I came of the bike a few years back, you cannot remember what happens. You see the brain is too complex for you. So complex that when things go wallop, you really have no control over its automatic behaviour. One of which, is to place the body into safety. Hence, no recollection of things past. It takes time for the brain to form its memory, recollection. And because the adrenalin that is produced to protect the body when it is in danger, out weighs this memory formation, it never gets set in our mind. Hence no recollection, except for the torn arm. And the things on that.

As another is banged up, the net closes in on the others!

Oh, I was in the pram!

And elsewhere we have now the corrections for ills. Shut they mouth with corrective therapy, and let us be gay with the language we have.

1 complete xmas asda food shop (nightmare!), as I won't be shopping at all next Thursday I've bought nappies and then a pack of sp nappies to tie us over and give them a go, plenty of wipes. Cheap bottles of £2.50 wine only 8% but I don't need a lot to get the party started lol.

2 clean, vac n mop everywhere, tidy up, make beds.

3 chucked frozen shepherds pie mince mix in sc to turn into chilli, had no kidney beans so baked beans went in there as well as some oats, chilli flakes and some extra mixed herbs.
Kids n hubs had it with rice I had a spud.

4 took ds2 to the local farm which is free and he loved it.

5 now enjoying a cup of sp hot chocolate with the kids n about to jump in our onsies.

6 took piccy of the boys together this morning for Xmas presents for grandparents.
Six pictures printed for 90p and then I bought a pack of two gold frames at £1.50 in asda so got 6 frames altogether. Cost per grandparent 90p for a picture of their grandchildren in a nice frame :)

I'm feeling loads better, now I'm stocked up for us all like being prepared for war I'm not leaving the warmth for know body now lol

    Evening everyone. :D

    Five pleasures for Thursday:

    1. Another lovely chat with DS1 about his academic plans.:D

    2. Freebie coffee from W8rz and a funny conversation with the man in front of me at the checkout about the difficulty of buying presents for one's adult children's partners' families at Christmas. He was struggling with that one too.

    3. The smell of baking potatoes wafting around the house right now. We are eating late tonight.

    4. Enjoying 'Darling Monster' too, Ampersand. Did you hear John Julius Norwich talking about the letters and his mum on yesterday's R4 Midweek programme? Am v. cross that I missed most of Penelope Fitzgerald's Human Voices - listened to the last two episodes only - goodness knows how I didn't notice the others. Hope they'll be repeated sometime.

    5. Long chat with bestmost friend on the phone. It looks as if whatever is wrong with him is benign - thank goodness. They couldn't find anything to biopsy. He is awaiting the consultants report to hear what needs to happen next but the main thing is that the news is a trillion times better than expected. Such a relief because it had been looking very worrying. :D

    Sweet dreams

  • 1.I sent a couple more Christmas cards, and met a new neighbour who seems absolutely lovely.:)
2.Finished off the cleaning downstairs, cleaned bedding for both us and the animals:p
3.Beautiful day bright sunshine can’t help but feel bright.:D
4.Cleared out a drawer that I never go into anymore as I could hardly get into it, so all sorted now, and more stuff turned into animal bedding.
    5. Just back from Mr T, which was ok a few choice rtcs bits which was nice, and used up 8 vouchers:D:D. What wasn’t nice was the crowds and a really really nasty older woman there chip on her shoulder the size of the world, literally pushed me in my side where I’m hurting anyway, it seriously made me question why I bother being polite at all, but it just makes me see her as sad. DH said a few choice words to her I can’t deny and no I don’t feel at all bad for him saying it.
    6. We are a bit later than normal we seem to be running on a hibernate schedule, but not really worried either in fact it’s rather pleasurable not worrying about the time.:rotfl:
    7. I want too use this icon :xmastree:I love it.:D
