5 OS Pleasures in your Day Today part 2

Yesterday
1. All done now until 6th.:beer:
2.We went over to the in laws, had a good laugh, caught up with extended family, ate great food, and swapped presents a good evening laughed so much our faces hurt, and bless them I am so colded up they were determined to try every remedy known to man lol.
3.We were very late back got in at 2am and still needed to clean out the animals, which they thought was great getting to run about until 3.30am, while they love routine, the love change occasionally.:rotfl:
4. Our cat is staying with them for a while and its lovely to see he really is ruling the roost, and is just what they need at the moment.

Today.
1.Late to bed and late up but didn’t feel guilty.
2.A lovely bottle of aged brandy arrived it’s wonderful, we tried a sample of it once before and it’s gorrrgeous.:o
3. Cleaned up upstairs, topped and tailed the bedroom and bathroom before running out of steam.:)
4. Popped out to the post office for stamps to send the last of the cards, and to send a parcel, detoured to dr’s and picked up a repeat prescription and picked it up on the way to the post of office, trying to multi task

CCP

An additional pleasure - my sister finally has a diagnosis for what's wrong with her - it's a faulty valve which is stopping the food she eats getting to her stomach, which explains why she is constantly sick and losing ridiculous amounts of weight. They apparently have yet to work out how to fix the problem, but knowing what's wrong is a great start. :j

On the negative side, she may have to stay in hospital over Christmas, which I don't think is anyone's idea of fun. :(:(

Glad to hear your sister has a diagnosis, CCP. Is that the same thing as pyloric stenosis?

I'd never heard of that, Frith, but it sounds like a similar sort of thing, although not exactly the same as that seems to only affect small babies. I'd guess my sister has the adult equivalent of that.

1. Work ok - banter seems more jovial in the office. Its good to get meetings out of the way and reports written up before last day tomorrow.

2.OH on leave and I have a tidy house - woo hoo :rotfl:He has been busy .

3.Made DM a home made chinese meal as OH out on his works xmas bash.. I even smell like a real take away

4.OH bought some finest rtc fancy pants profiteroles should be £4 now 48p. I have eaten at least 6 there is another box in the fridge.

5 Just seen BnQ have 50% off real xmas trees. Might be tempted but don't want a biggy .
