Back to nest tomorrow, so no pleasures this eve0 -
Kittikins That is so thoughtful, will you not need it? Echoing what Chicken says whereabouts are you moving to?
DD. Hugs
Sparrer: Looking forward to tomorrow for you as well, hope it goes well.:D
Work is done again, found out 2 more colleagues are leaving, I won't be to far behind, just trying to bide my time a little bit.
When I got in DH had got out the patio set and citronella tea lights so a cuppa out in our little garden.:p
For last night, Mr T replmished the fridge that is working again. replacement food, 49p coleslaw, 3 of their made burgers 75p, tin of pots 15p was last nights foodie.
Had to pay full price for the bread and milk, everything else was rtc, however the bill was still 30:eek:, but we bought a lot of reduced butcher meat and ham.
We were mean, we tried the casserole steak that was in the fridge prior to it's wobbly on the ferrets and they went nuts so I said it's to good:rotfl: and quickly put together a casserole to cook through
Just had the casserole and dumplings, but now I've lost steam.
Popped to 99p shop in my lunch and bought the fuzzies a toy to make up for being mean, which they promptly stole from the table before I had a chance to give it to them!:rotfl:0 -
1) Listening to the tennis commentary in the office this afternoon, except when inconsiderate people kept interrupting to talk about work.
2) Andy gave us all a scare (well, those of us who are interested, anyway - sorry, Chicken) but it worked out OK in the end.
3) Fixed up a rather bland HM curry with some extra spices and a generous quantity of lemon juice, and it ended up being quite tasty.
4) After quite a lot of will it / won't it, the yellow thing has made a late appearance.
5) One of my HG blackcurrants is starting to change colour - only another fifty or so to go before I have enough for a bowlful!Back after a very long break!0 -
Dundeedoll - you think pooeyshoe is bad..try walking, half asleep in the morning, with bare feet in catsick..yak:p:D

I had a bit of a weird day that I will share with you. It started out dreadfully, with a horrendous commute on the tube spent standing with my heavy case full of mobile office equipment, and no chance to catch up on some reading for work as I had intended. When I changed lines at Bank, fat people blocked my path left right and centre, and midgets appeared from nowhere to trip me up through the rush hour
.
Some good things emerged during the day: I helped a colleague navigate some tough HR issues, shared a joke and my (ahem) wisdom with a newly-wed friend, helped a passenger take their suitcase down the stairs whilst they carried their baby, and exchanged pleasantries and a laugh with my favourite market trader. Oh yes, and I spotted an abnormal growth on the leg of a man in shorts who was walking in front of me on the street. I hesitated at first, because he and his friends would not have looked out of place on The Jeremy Kyle Show but then decided to bring it to his attention in as gently as I could. He was pleased that I took the trouble to do so, but no-one was happier than I to hear that he had an appointment to have it removed. What a relief!
And then the day ended when I got in the car and met some real lemons on the road. Why do so many drivers lack basic common sense?Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

Hi PK - Nope, I definitely don't need the fridge/freezer and if you could get to me with a small van (It's 5ft something), I'd be delighted to help you out x
We're off from sunny Sussex to the 'shires and rather than paying a fortune to store my big stuff for a year whilst I'm training to be a teacher, I'm getting shot of everything I possibly can; am selling another fridge/freezer and my washing machine to my estate agent (!), giving my tumble dryer to my friend who takes DD to school for me 3x a week (and when I have afternoon meetings...) and want to sell my dishwasher.....
I don't know if I'm insane.....lol!!
Anyway...pleasures...
1. The grey day turned to lovely sunshine
2. I hit MrT's at the perfect YS time
3. DD had a brilliant settling in morning at her new school and apparently didn't want to leave!
4. She's asleep in my bed, knowing the truth about the tooth fairy( she said she didn't want me to answer her question with a question like I did at the weekend) but also unsure how I can be as I don't have a £1 coin in my purse....ha ha, it's hidden about my person that's how
5. Yummy scrummy baked potatoes (yup, they were YS too), with YS beans and YS cheddar for dinner.

Nice pleasures today - except for dog poo and cat sick!
Kittikins - sounds like a totally new beginning
Chicken - glad OH day went well. Mushroom tagliatelle, please
Skint = have a nice weekend
Mhags and Ampersand = loving the long posts
Today's pleasures
1. I just fixed my computer which had annoying pop up adverts suddenly appearing :T
2. 4 loads of washing done - amazing since I only took a small amount of clothes with me. None got done over the weekend, that's why
3. Eggy and soldiers for brekkie
4. Watched some old Noel Gallagher interviews - he makes me laugh (but I was supposed to be working)
5. Nice bathy, and now i'm tucked up in bed.
Have a good day all.I wanna be in the room where it happens0 -
1. mhags - I'm listening and swaying to Tour de France replay as I type, loving the accordion intro music and today rode with them through my places, Brignoles for starters. And my heart constricts, my throat tightens, I swallow hard but cannot help my aching longing spilling over. This was in the gap before Andy's match.
2. He won!!! He is becoming Borg-like in his desperate 'lose first two sets' track record. Another who says 'Sorry chicken', but I live and die with every point. Wasn't the net exchange at end of match lovely with Verdasco? Just a you-beaut fella - and rather beauteous too.
3. One of each out all new today - rogue tatoe flower, pea flower, magenta dahlia, new rose, camomile. ccp - I've seen colour start on my currants too. It's going to be something I might call a crop this year. Masses of fruit.
4.Researched/priced up some interesting ancient jazz LP's that were in the rubbish.
5. Call from Fair peeps - all is well. &'s Empire will spread forth and multiply this w/e. I dread it, feel hopeless, nervous, every time, never get any better.
6. Looking out this morning, saw movement in the little growhouse. Went out, unzipped the sides. Oh my goodness! - little sparrow fluttering about. As I enticed him out, there was another! - little girl. How on Earth they found their way in, and when......? They weren't telling, flew off safely though.
7. Afternoon visitor - looked out mid-match - Big Boy bunny was paying a visit from next door. I set down carrots. He was most happy, grazing away but darned nippy when neighbour and I tried to catch him. Neighbour said 'He'll be alright. He'll go back through the hedge to his women' but Big Boy hadn't read script. An hour later, we caught him. He LURVED the raspberries as jungle cover.
8. dkw but ended up making 2 sorts of oatie biccies[faves]and a cinnamon apple cake.
9. Compline this evening has brought me now, to this end of another day, so - this is passing on some of the peace I found there.
sparrer - bliss with tomorrow's rendezvous.
Welcome newbies and Sweet Dreams dd ,all suitably snuggled up.
Look, we can't have bop in strop over yellow thing. Tealady has only packed the luggage allowance. pk - you might have to threaten a carefully placed ferret.... just until the remote's back down the OS Sofa of Pleasures.CAP[UK]for FREE EXPERT DEBT &BUDGET HELP:
