Good morning all !

sun is shining. home later. have wonderful days allI wanna be in the room where it happens0 -
Kittikins so happy for you, everything x'ed for a smooth sale.
ampersand have you tried crushed eggshells? I try not to use chemicals because of the furpets so I rinse them out and save them in a tub, then scatter them around the plants. Slugs and snails won't go on anything sharp/rough like that, apparently. My garden is practically clear of them but both neighbours seem to have more than their share of the horrid things
Thank you for your kind thoughts re my tours of Englands m-ways, I'm being sensible (almost). Enforced day at home today due to a puncture. However....
1. Tyre company found a nail in the tyre which would explain why air was coming out as fast as it was going in. They changed the tyre there and then and didn't charge me
2. Called into Mr M, he was selling whole milk at 9p for 2 pints, sell by 1/6, so bought 4 containers. I dilute full milk 50/50 so I have 16 pints for 36p. Also got a piece of 'minute' steak, although it's very thick for its name, for £1 half of which I'll have for dinner and the other half for another day.
3. Should I mention the weather? I've filled the watering cans from the water butt which is now full again, put a row of black buckets on the patio to catch the rain and the indoor grey water bucket is full so I have lots of water for the garden when I need it. One day!
4. Friend gave me some rhubarb from her garden last night. Will made individual crumbles with it and freeze in ramekins
5. 2 trays of dog biscuits in the oven, cost about £1.50p and will last muttley for at least a month. And I know there's no junk in them, just liver, eggs, olive oil, garlic and flour, and veg peelings, scraps etc saved in the freezer over a few weeks.
Have a sunny day whatever the weather0 -
Hi sparrer like the sound of the dog biscuits, do you have a "receipe" please?:)SIMPLY BE-££577.11:eek:
Very BNPL - £353.000 -
Morning
Sparrer - Glad you are being careful with all your travelling, please stay safe and well.
Kittikins - Great news about the house sale
Pleasures for yesterday,
1. Felt much calmer all day than I have over the last week.
2. Friend bought me a yummy jacket potato for lunch
3. Family night out to Cinema to watch Star Trek which was quite good and Mr Cucumber Patch played his part well.
4. Yummy dinner out as well at a local Indian restaurant with enough left over to bring home to cover OH and DD's lunch.
5. DD sorting out a lot of the ironing mountain for me.
Hugs to all who need them0 -
My poor buyers......their buyer has pulled out, so we're back to square one
Oh well, hopefully someone will be along soon, or they'll find another buyer!
I'm now thinking of not buying anywhere until after I've done my teacher training, so that DD and I have the option of staying down here or making our move to the 'shires a more permanent one.......but if I don't sell the house, it'll be repossessed anyway!!

Edit. In a blow to humanity, and for photographing them college netball girls. BoP has made a killing, or rather, money! So it is a snake nite was well. Medium raw I think.

KK YOU CAN DO IT.
Oh, and guess what, meith Business up down. Still do it now and the bank. Well they heatedly agree, a penny and every month is better than not a sausage.
Do not become an ostrich. Work out how much you can pay, and for how long. Tell your lender, offer to pay interest only! After a period. I had only money for two and a half years. The last six months we paid note. Not an iota. But they accosted it. They knew in the end be good for me and Mis BoP.
Get grants, Eurpoean Social Fund. single bleeding parent fund. For fgs, I even went with alas that was a defiant SM.
You are on the starting line. No turning back, you can do it.
Rite, mes rankings over. Back to mes wobbleades and snake!
Oh and I would, without messing, keep their deposit. And those down the line as well should. Wephen we sold in Coventry. Money bags kept upping his offer, we said no, as we knew he had no ral intention of buying, but sold to the girl for £500 less. She bought no problem. Up to the day she moved in, the cut faced pollock kept coming in. We just said. Put the money on the table, nd you can have it. We had the table. He had no money.0 -
Oh Kittikins so sorry to hear your news
what a change of fortune in the last 24 hours, house buying / selling is such an emotional roller coaster. If you cant find a buyer have you thought about renting it ?
ampersand I agree with you about the snails. A few weeks ago there wasn't any (think it was too cold?) now there are hundreds of the little blighters. I had to pick them off my lawn yesterday before I cut the grass/strimmed.... cant bear the thought of shredding them _pale_0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗
