Hi all, hugs to all who need or want them.
1. Sunny cold crisp days
2. Washing my net curtains - I know its not spring but honestly they were very in need

4. Having plenty to do even with no job

6. Being tired out from doing lots of walking so hopefully will get a good night's sleep tonight - been worrying, thinking and planning rather than sleeping

Sorry I have been missing everyone. Had lots of probs. the last couple of weeks. The computer finally packed up and had to be replaced and now the car has packed up as well. It's in the garage but the bill is going to be big:eek: Still there is more to life than money, so I have thought about my blessings over the past days. Here goes:-
1) Health and Family are more important than money. I count my blessings for these and hope we can all stay healthy:D
2) My new computer is lovely, I have waited so long for it:D
3) We have no transport at the moment, so re-discovering the joys of carting home 18 Toilet Rolls without a bag and walking the dog at the same time:D
4)DH is on a 4 day week still, but at least we get to have extra long weekends together:D
5) We won about £6 on the lottery last week, a tiny start on the car repair bill:D just another ££££££ to go. Every penny helps.
Hope everyone has been ok, sorry I couldn't catch up with all the posts.
Bye for now.Sealed Pot Challenge 7 Member 022 :staradmin:staradmin:staradmin

Evening all.
Bit of a flying visit from me this evening as I've had a headache all day and could do with taking it to bed in the not-too-distant future. My five:
1) Porridge for breakfast - got the consistency right for once (the last few days I've been able to slice it) and topped it with banana and maple syrup - yum!
2) Treated myself to lunch from a local sandwich shop. Not very OS, I suppose, but it's supporting a local business, was very good value (I don't know how they make a profit when their prices are so cheap) and was a nice treat on a bad day.
3) Got some free stock cubes from my box company - I'd ordered one packet but they gave me two, and told me to keep the extra one as a present.
4) I didn't really fancy going to my evening class but I'm glad I did - it was a good, productive evening and I still had time to catch up with one of my class mates, whose son has been quite ill recently (better now, I'm pleased to say).
5) Put the BM on when I got home, and remembered to put the paddle in this time (having forgotten the last two times I used it
).
Night night - see you tomorrow!Back after a very long break!0 -

Hi all, a quiet day today, keep on thinking it's Friday, but not yet, mustn't wish my life away, lol.
1. My back is not too bad today, sore but liveable so I can get away without the painkillers, yippee!
2. Snuggly day at home with still poorly DD, she slept for England this afternoon! Think we'll be doing more of the same tomorrow......
3. Made her enough dinner for tomorrow and maybe another day! I really overestimated how much she would eat tonight, oops.
4. Went through some old linens that my mum passed on to me from granny/great-granny and have selected some lovely little lace tablecloths that just fit the dining table when it's at its smallest setting. DD and I ate like princesses this evening, she was most impressed
5. Got free tickets for Ideal Home Show via a link found on here. Wonder if it'll be up DD's street.......0 -
Evening all,
Just a quick 5 for me tonight as not feeling too good, I have a sore throat and runny nose. Anyway my five for today:
1. Working out we have enough Tesco clubcard vouchers that if we convert to airmiles with the offer on at the moment we will have enough airmiles for 2 return flights to New York in the summer. Both OH and me are 40 this year so this is our birthday treat to each other:j
2. Moved desks today and really like where I am now. Feel part of the team as I was on a different floor to the rest before.
3. Fish and Chips for dinner not OS but very yummy.
4. Free tickets for the ideal home show so can take Mil for a day out
5. Looking forward to my bed it is definetly calling me tonight0 -
Hello everybody  - sorry I've not been able to keep up with all the postings the last two days - been chaos chez Ollie with work commitments and phonecalls from DD again.
We've got DD1 here this evening, so she'll be going to school from here in the morning AND taking the ingredients for 'VERY EASY TOMATO SOUP' for cookery lesson (tinned tomatoes, an onion, a potato, tomato puree, herbs and chicken or veg stock cubes dissolved in water) plus my large flask to take it home in - hmmmm wonder if that'll ever find it's own way back to me
.
I'll have to find some time to post some pleasures in the morning, but for now I need my bed. Hope everybody is keeping well - I can see that house elf is full of a
- so hope those germs leave you soon.
Take care all - love Ollie xxx0 -
Evening all,
Sorry to hear lots of people feeling poorly. Can see all the little green buttons are switched off and so you're not here, which is right!
1. Ham, egg and chips (wedges in the oven) - simple and yummy. Avoided going to the shops for one more day.
2. A lovely bath this evening.
3. Watching a film earlier, 27 dresses, easy watching.
4. I feel sleepy. Sleep pattern totally out of kilter so this is a good sign.
5. Finding a packet of 5 marathons/snickers whilst decluttering! Thank you decluttering angels.
Night night.
