Wells Chuffed YestDay
Up at the crack of SPARRA. bag packed with butty buns and apple. Packed off on a Train to Cornwall.
5 Choo Choo. Home made butty buns gone by Yaton, and I only got on at Bristol!!!!!!!!! Apple gone by Taunton. Think I may had bins a bit too greedy.
4 Thirst time on train down that parts of the world. Changed at Exeter and got a bit of chocolate.
3 Train then went through Plymouth and along the coast through Dawlish.
2 Wondered if the train would go Too De Loo (Looe), but the train at Liskeard to Looe was at 90 degrees to ours. Still chuffed on and eventually arrived in Redruth (near my assumed home!)BoP Some people will go to any lengths to see 30 grown men scrabbling over a bag of wind. Strange, I'll never understand it....:undecided

A Very Happy Mothering Sunday

Not mothers day here until May but the mothers got their non mothers day cards in time so that was good.
1. Nice brekkie with OH
2. Bought more of my favourite china ( at the mo!) department store had 30% off this weekend.
3. Read, snoozed, read
4. Lazy, lazy afternoon.
5. Easy peasy nachos for tea.
Had a rant at my children this afternoon....DD1 particularly , she does not like a raised voice and never has.....I didn't care and certainly raised my voice! I'm fed up with the atrocious state of her bedroom ....the threat of moving down to her brothers room has been made ( even smaller than hers!) .....all children have been very solicitous since
Bedtime then Monday morning all too soon....enjoy your day0 -
Had a good day yesterday despite doing my back in
1. Went to rugby and we won and it wasn't too cold.
2. Chatted with DS2 on phone
3. DS1 being home.
4. Saw MIL and DS1 helped her with yet another computer problem and so luckily I didn't need to as DH has lost all patience with her.
5. Finished some paperwork - still got a pile to do though.0 -
For Saturday
We ventured over to the inlaws, as they are a fair distance we.
1. Stopped in at home bargains as we don’t have one anywhere near us, we always come out loaded up with stock, hay fever tablets, pet pads, crisps and general stuff for a much cheaper price than we can get round here so always bought in quantity.:o
2. Spent a lovely time discussing the world not solving anything but feeling all the better for discussing it.:D
3. They Fed and Watered us.
4. Wished MIL a very happy Mothers day for today, with chockies and a card.
5. Got back in the wee early hours of Sunday morning and got a washing load in.:rotfl:0 -
May I join? I don't think I've posted here before. OH looking for a job at the moment so we're having to be extra frugal as just got my salary. Reading your posts has given me a boost.
1) Worked out to an areobics DVD before OH woke up (and with the curtain firmly closed)!
2) Used an out-of-date casserole mix for lunch - and it tasted great!
3) Nice cuddle from the cat
4) Watched "Wizard of Oz" DVD snuggled up to OH on the sofa
5) Feel good because lots of laundry done
Been a lovely Sunday so far0 -
Evening all.
black cat - of course you can join - you're very welcome.
For me today:
1) NSD and NPD.
2) Received a code for £5 off my next W8rose order as today's delivery was missing several items including, annoyingly, tonight's dinner.
3) Worked out an alternative meal for tonight with some of the things that were delivered - a sausage sarnie and some soup, which will be nice and warming on a chilly evening.
4) Central heating!
5) Taking my inspiration from mcculloch's signature, I lit my big scented candle so the place smells deliciously of mixed spice now.
Have a good evening, all, and stay safe in the threatened / promised (depending on your POV) white stuff. :snow_grinBack after a very long break!0 -
