Afternoon all.
I've been feeling ridiculously sleepy all day, and am now feeling a bit gloomy, too, as I've been back to my GP and have been told I have to go back to hospital for a follow-up as my foot's still not healing properly.
Hey ho:
1) I can go back to work on Monday as long as I don't walk around too much, which will be good as I'm starting to get a bit bored of working at home by myself.
2) Cheese on toast for lunch.
3) A friend came round in the pouring rain to drop off my cardigan, which I left in the pub last night (:o), as she knows its my favourite one. :A
4) Out with friends from work tonight - if I can stay awake that long, anyway!
5) Saturday tomorrow, so I can have a lie-in and try to shake off the doziness.
Have a nice evening, all.Back after a very long break!0 -
Big Hugs to Kittkins and CCP.
1.I got my first full night’s sleep in a month with the help of some painkillers last night, while lovely I have also woken up with a horrible headache, I don’t think I’m used to sleeping through.
2.Pay day whoo hooo, time to get squirreling some away again.:j
3.Doctors check up, pleasure to get over with, but will be back to hosp for a check up as they are making noises about taking my gallbladder out.

Evening all,
My five for today;
1. Brunch with a friend, not at all money saving as it cost £3.05 just for one hot chocolate  was lovely to see my friend though just wish she didnt have such an expensive taste in coffee shops. Couldn't help but think I can make this cheaper and nicer at home!
2. Found a house and its perfect. Got a viewing booked in for next week. It's exactly what we want, wouldn't need anything doing to it bar a lick of paint and its the perfect distance to families but.....it's next to a prison! Does anyone have any experience of living near a prison?? Would like some advice or just opinions.
3. OH is out until late so it's bubble bath, candles and a book for me. Possibly a blanket and hot water bottle too.
4. Signed up to pinterest and wasted an hour or two pinning pictures of all the crafts i'll never find the time to do :rotfl:
5. Making time to read through all your pleasures, I would recommend it to others as therapy, it really cheers me up!Comper, Blogger & OS-erCompetition prizes: £6/£20150 -
Far tooooooooo excited for words, but the pleasure is in the morrow.
:D:D:D:D:D and Jenny :heartpuls :heartpuls
For the nows, back home with Lady Black.
Mmmmm. Now, if you think that being caught on the bus without a ticket warrant a fine of 10 x the monthly season ticket. Come to the bar. If you think that carry a knife in public does not warrant a 10 year prison sentence. Come to the bar.
Enough. Time to stop, full stop.0 -

2) couldn't get away for lunch (bad) but suddenly remembered my emergency weetabixand with some of said milk (good)
3) home to fried spuds from yesterday yum yum bacon tomatoes and mushrooms. Why did the mushroom go to the party? Cos he was a fungi
4) oh out, I have been catching up on marking. May sound a strange OS pleasure but this particular marking is quite easy and able to have call the midwife on in the background so have caught up with 2 episodes and 11 assignments

Evening
VJsmum - Well done to DD
CCP / PK - Get well now
Missmoneysave - We live about 5 mins walk from a womens prison and to be honest you wouldn't know its there. The only time you see anyone is early on a morning when they are doing releases and they want to get away as fast as they can so there is no trouble. The prison has its own car park so no cars cluttering up the road and you don't see the visitors as tend to be at work then. The prison near us is a womens prison and young offenders. It has had some quite high profile inmates but have never had any problems.
Pleasures for today,
1. OH had to leave early today so made sure he had his packed lunch and went back to bed for an hour.
2. DD did the washing up for me, it did cost me but it would of anyway so I least I got something done for the money.
3. Met DD for lunch, I had a yummy jacket potato
4. Meal plan sorted for next week, its not very inspiring but at least there will be homecooked food on the table even if it is boring and a bit repetetive.
5. Was lazy and got the bus home from work but it was raining and the bus was there as I walked out of the office.
Hugs to all who need them0
