It doesn't improve - picked up two packs pf pigs liver in Mr S, put them in separate bags, one for me, one for DD, got to DD's and gave her hers, she opened it to start making the livercake and it was two of the biggest kidneys I've ever seen :rotfl:. Someone had obviously put them on the wrong shelf and there they were, just waiting for the sparrers day to carry on as it started. (I know, airhead should have read the labels). Will be interesting to see if the mutts like kidneycake tomorrow :D

Meeting a friend for a cuppa in my favourite garden centre shortly and leaving the debit card at home. Maybe....;)

Archers .... I thought that was a drink, nice with lemonade :D

Sparrer its so exciting looking round garden centres all the lovely plants and flowers, shame I tend to kill most things :o green fingered I am not. Most plants have to be able to fend for themselves in my garden, I only have 1 flowerbed now as cannot kneel or bend. Be careful if you buy something today ..... with the day you are having you could come home with anything ;)

struggling a bit at the moment

    1. better sleep (amitriptyline last night)
    2. day off work today
    3. work have agreed to a reasonable adjustment for next 2 weeks to help .... then I am off for easter
    4. warmer today, raining this morning and now thick fog has rolled in but warm enough for heating to be off
    5. house is tidy. DS is out with friends for tea and then hes helping out at college open evening, so hopefully it should stay tidy for a while !

After a long time have decided I must come back to this thread.
I have been working lots of overtime recently

1.Over the past few days seeing a barn owl while walking my dog in the mornings.

    2. Managing to take my lunch into work daily - so much better than buying sandwiched.

    3. Phonecalls with DS1 and DS2 over the past couple of days.

    Evening all.

It's very nice to see you again, villagelife. :)

    1) Took mog to the vet for a post-op check-up and he's more than fine - his current obsession with eating as much as felinely possible has led him to put on weight, which can only be a good thing as he was starting to look a bit old and scrawny.

    2) Had a cheese and chutney sandwich for lunch, because it was the only sandwich filling in the house rather than because it was what I really fancied, but I surprised myself by enjoying every bite.

    3) Some nice men came from the letting agency to replace my faulty fire alarm so I don't get any more rude awakenings like I did on Monday.

    4) Did a big online grocery shop - something I very rarely do - and stacked up various offers and discounts to get over £30 off my total spend. :money:

    5) Listening to the fog horns blaring along the coast - it's a noise I love, despite not being very keen on the actual fog. :undecided
Back after a very long break!

Hello, feeling a bit up and down at the moment, so finding it hard to motivate myself to do anything and not enjoying it at all!

Will be back on track soon I'm sure and I'm enjoying reading everyone's posts xx
  • Oooh & ands SPARRA. I has gun all a quiver about the radio, but I seem to only get TMS on my little valve system. Is that programme on the light service?

Ayes a back the other side of the Bedford park and hide, so watch out Bedford. Gots me Roadkill from w8flowers again. I see the ink on the tabloids is exploiting that cheap food is no good for you again. Really, I never knew that.

No pleasures this wet eve as not with the Lady Smack.
