    Okay five for today:-

    1. Brought both the boys into the yard this morning and took their coats off and gave them a good grooming along with cuddles a few kisses and ginger biscuits. I have put their coats back on but next week is forecast to be nice.

    2. Chat with my friend from over the lane this morning.

    3. Cleaned the conservatory right out and put the cushions and seats all back and into order. I sat in there with a cup of tea this afternoon for an hour reading in this lovely sunshine.

    4. The sun has shone today and cheered me up no end.

    5. Currently watching the sun go down :)

    Hiya

VJsmum - i love the smell of fresh bread, when I discovered the delay on the breadmaker I used it all the time :p

    Mine for today

    1. A lie in

    2. Bright sunshine

    3. Went for a walk in the sunshine along the sea front

    4. Stopped off for ice-cream

    5. When kids in bed, will be watching a film and crocheting a hat :D

Have a great evening all x

    Good morning all !

VJsmum - No YUM pie - a criminal offence surely??;)

Yes, I think so, it is the law after all - sorry :o

Get well soon, please, poorly people. CCP glad your foot is improving.

    Todays

    1. Sunshine :D
    2. Walk round the lake and across the fields in Shropshire with friends. Always nice to catch up - tho the manners of their ST (stroppy teenager) leave a lot to be desired. At least ours knows to say "please" and "thank you" - he wouldn't get fed otherwise :p:p
    3. Pub lunch - halloumi and oven roast veg wrap and nicked some of my mate's chunky chips
    4. Being very amused by a "beware of the killer shrimp" sign :rotfl:
    5. Out for a pub tea with different friends shortly. ST has been let off this one. Though older and slightly less ST (DD) is a bit miffed that she can't come.

    Have a good evening all.
I wanna be in the room where it happens

    1. DS bedding and new field gun gear washed and mostly line dried

    2. popped to local church table top sale and got a CD £1 and a BT cordless phone complete with rechargeable batteries for £3. Went back to friends for cuppa

    3. got rid of 3/4 of the ironing pile

    4. sun came out around 3.30pm only for half an hour but lifted my spirits :D

    5. cleared another half a bag of paperwork and more shredding done

Looking forward to a relaxing evening ...on the sofa in front of the tv (again !)

Ops we went to Mr T and spent the most we have in ages £65!, but we seemed to need things we don’t normally:rotfl: - they had a very good offer on tea bags so we bought £6 worth but now won’t need it for 6 months, we also bought mothers day choccies and a card, and the 1 litre baileys which is the only drink we both like was on a reasonable offer at £12. And lots of odds and sods. They had an RTC Rottiseere chicken for £2:) which will keep us going for the weekend, 2 big icing topped cinnamon buns for 30p:p:p, oh and some chocolate for us found its way into the trolley I reckon this is what haappens when you go shopping together both feeling a bit bluegh comfort food on offer and we were prime.. :rotfl:On the plus side we also have a voucher for £5p off fuel when we need to fill up.

    1. Breakfast of bacon in RTC multi seed rolls which were lovely.
    2. Bought a pre pay prescription for the 5 prescripions yikes...
    3. We went out today for a ponder, I admit we both over did it but had a lovely time we used the park and ride and did all the charity shops, we got some bizzare odds and sods, and I picked up some vitimins, loaded up with a few £1land things, stopped in at a cafe for dinner, we then caught the park and ride back then went into lidl’s to pick up vegtables and sweeties, unpacked and gave the lidl cardboard box to the animals who are playing tortises in it at the moment.:)
    4. Back home with painkillers and a cuppa, and can take it easy / lay in tomorrow.:A[FONT=&quot] In fact I am planning on doing err very very little, food is pre done, no other commitments tomorrow at all.

    Evening

VJsmum / Ampersand - GBK is Gourmet Burger Kitchen, nice posh decent quality (no horse) burgers.
Ampersand - Please can I second what VJsmum said, please take it easy and look after yourself.

    Pleasures for yesterday and today,
    1. Annual review with boss, I was dreading it as have had little work for a while but boss thinks I am doing a great job and seems to think I do loads for him. He is the least demanding boss I have ever had. We have got a big project coming up though so things should improve and job is safe for now.
    2. Packed lunches and breakfasts for all again on Friday.
    3. Friday was a NSD
    4. Food shopping done for the week and 98p under budget. I was hoping it would have been more but it included a few bits for Mothers Day and got a few things to put in the freezer for a charity day we are doing at work soon.
    5. Hair cut and coloured today, so not OS but did have a £15 voucher off my brother to use so made it a bit cheaper.
    6. DD getting a lift to and from a guiding event which saved the I'm lost call as even though fairly local she hadn't been for a long time. She also had a great time, I think she enjoyed it as much if not more than the Rainbows. They had been to the local Urban Farm.
    7. Enjoying a peaceful hour to myself this afternoon. Sat and read my book with no noise in the house what so ever, bliss.
    8. Got mother's day presents and cards sorted for mum and MIL. Just got to post my mums though am debating if can get there next weekend. May have to go look at train fares.

Hugs to all who need them

Thankyou tealady - and for GBK.
Frith - glad you're feeling a bit better too.
pk - carry right on doing lots of nothing very much all day long tomorrow.

    2. Snuggled up.
    3. Out of blue call which was most welcome and lasted for a long, long time this morning.
    4. Ended only when postie brought Clare B's book, ordered a couple of days ago.
    5. Sun eventually came out just after 15.45h so made effort, w8rosed, free cappuccinoed, free magged, had 2x10p [STRIKE]£1.99[/STRIKE] packs of mushroom stir-fry, 29p [STRIKE]£2.99[/STRIKE] pot of tired basil which I will save and a 5p reverbe - first for ages.

-after which H_U_G_E[not]day fetched up back here more or less drained. In bed before 19h...then remembered SOS Bus:eek::eek::eek: Luckily, it's OK.

Those are the very nicest words to read in this climate :)

Frith, I love your gorgeous mogs
    katholicos love the sweet collie
CCP love the beautiful daffy :D. Pleased to hear your foot is feeling a little better
mhags date scone sounds verrrry tasty, I'll try that next time
chicken chuckled at tiny terrier being hosed down, just hope it wasn't a pressure hose
RD your boys sound gorgeous, hope there's room for them when you go north
kettle I'm listening, and like you doing nothing. Well very little :p
BoP hope you and Jenny can come back to us soon

    1. The stroppy teenager stories had me smiling to myself and reminiscing about one or two I knew, one of whom we nicknamed Kevin ;)
    2. Wrapped up and sat in the garden for half an hour. Still too cold (only 60% lung cap., and cold air contracts what space there is) so had to come back in but I had a cup of EG and 1 1/2 scones to make up for it :D. I've lots of plans to carry out so I'm itching to get out there for longer
    3. DS is almost at the end of his uni course and has an interview next Saturday. Everything x'd
    4. Made a loaf in the bm and a chook casserole in the sc. The kitchen smelled so good this afternoon
    5. Found a meditation site and listened to an amazing track. Was so out of it that just as the voice said 'open you eyes' I let out a loud snore and the dog jumped off the sofa in shock :rotfl:

Hope you're all sleeping soundly :)
