    A quick collection.
    1. DS being a total star, taking me to A!di, where I bought a new loo seat on special and then to see friend in hospital.
    2. Seeing friend, I had taken in exactly the right things - a red/green grape selection and four packets of extra-strong mints. She is very ill, but still positive.
    3. Spag. bol. left over for DS from yesterday, so no need to cook on one of my '5:2' days.
    4. Learner who is more than capable of passing a test, has finally booked it and hopefully will pass this month. So frustrating when they don't do this.
    5. Your pleasures. Nothing Valentine related for me, thankfully. Anything at the moment would just be a complication I don't need!

Ouch Chicken, that sounds nasty, hope you feel better soon x

Well, still feeing rubbish and teary (kind of PMTish) but am determined to enjoy the finer things of life :)

    1. Received so many lovely messages and calls from friends - here, there and everywhere. Thank you all xx

    2. Am even going to be meeting up with a chum and his wife to discuss a potential job in one of his companies as he's too busy to run it these days!! He read my sorry email and called me straightaway.

    3. My teaching application has gone to my second choice uni - fingers crossed (but not holding my breath due to the specificness of course 1 and my form being very slanted that way....and uni 2 doesn't run that slant course). Oh well, at least at the moment there's still hope!

    4. Got a refund yesterday from the library on the book I found after thinking it was lost for good - and spent some of it on a very delicious burger van veggie hot dog and chips for lunch. So bad yet so very, very good! I didn't sleep much last night and felt horrible, so needed the rubbish food.

    5. Sat in the sunshine whilst out having my dodgy burger van lunch :)

    6. DD made me a beautiful friendship bracelet for valentine's xxxx

    7. OH came over whilst I was out and dropped off choccies and a card - first time ever! Very delish chocs, nomnomnom

    8. DD gave me lots of cuddles last night and today :)

    9. My parents have been lovely to me too.

    10. DD and I have been practicing our bandages and slings in readiness for my first aid test tomorrow. So long as I don't freeze up like I did today in practice, I should be okay.....

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
    Evening all.

    1) A demi-pleasure: being woken up just after 4am by a ravenous moglet. I'm delighted he's feeling so much better, but wish he could have picked a more civilised hour to recover!

    2) After a soggy start to the day the sun came out and it felt positively spring-like for a while.

    3) Popped into Mr T (I know, I said I'd never go in there again, but it was worth it :o) and found a load of 'pizza mozzarella' RTC. I've now got several blocks in the freezer - much cheaper than a takeaway pizza! :money:

    4) It's still TBC but I think I'm going to drop out of my OU course. I'm really not enjoying the course and my marks are starting to reflect that: it will be a shame to delay my graduation for another year but it will be better than struggling on with a course I hate and ending up with a lower degree classification as a result. Even thinking about dropping out has made me feel more cheerful, so I think it's the right decision, as long as my tutor agrees...

    5) Chicken casserole for dinner tonight.

    Have a good evening, everyone.
Back after a very long break!

    4. Managed to get whoopsied chicken breast for tea (not as low as I usually get whoopsies for but still half price and its what hubby requested so a result) after I asked the very nice reducing man if he could reduce it more for me :p

    5. kids in bed, onsie and slipper boots on, wine poured, book opened. :D

    Have a lovely evening everyone
