I'll upload the Archers jigsaw pics if someone can instruct me to not do what bop's has done and made the page all wide.

Afternoon all - don't come near. You don't want this. I'll pass it on to loathesome Julie Burchill[another long ago/'nother Life connection] whose presence on DID was as ghastly as it would be. She chose a good, lesser-known Beach Boys piece for last one.

vjm-I remember an early Clarrie going off in slight Hmmpff, when cast members were being asked to commit presence at various A&P Shows and the like. So, new Clarrie is actually 2nd Coming Clarrie.

I like Henning Wehn, so have just booked:

The Food Programme's another good piece of investigative dynamite:

Hmm, not sure what I expected Sheila Dillon to look like, but not as above. She's just getting stuck in about 30% drop in TSO's and Germany having testing rate 15X greater than here....

    1. Managed to get a reasonable sleep despite my daughter being "out on the town" in London last night.

    2. Have just had her two children for the morning, great fun.

    3. Hoping to finish the lined curtains I am making when my son brings round their sewing machine (mine broke yesterday before I could finish)

    4. Still have 900 calories left for today

    5. Got Call the Midwife and Mr Selfridge to look forward to watching (in bed) later.

Thanks bop - I see tinypic's a sprout of photobucket, to which I believe I once belonged, but it now gives me this, rptdly:
' This webpage has a redirect loop
The webpage at http://register.photobucket.com/register has resulted in too many redirects. Clearing your cookies for this site or allowing third-party cookies may fix the problem. If not, it is possibly a server configuration issue and not a problem with your computer.'

I have done direct entry in search bar, as well as ccp. Just one more example of blutty Chrome which I so dislike.

    Whither?
    ##########

Just tried again, same non-result. It is typical of everything to do with everything, since I'm feeling yeccch atm:

evening everyone ....my 5 for today

    1. lazy morning

    2. baked carrot and apple muffins

    3. more book reading

    4. have "revised" for my interview, these are some of the questions that came up in my last one:

"why do you think you are suitable for this job,
    what are your weaknesses,
give an example of when you have shown initiative,
give an example where you have taken the lead in a situation,
give an example of team working
give an example of where you have dealt with a difficult situation/client

.... cant think of any others at the mo. Can anyone think of anything else that might come up?

    5. rtc roast beef for tea. Havent had beef for ages as normally too expensive but it was marked down from 11.85 to £5.45 sirloin joint which is large enough for 3 meals for the 2 of us

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
    Evening all.

    1) Another NSD - I'm getting good at this! :money:

    2) Turned a couple of over-ripe bananas into a banana and peanut butter loaf that will be nice for breakfasts this week.

    3) Essay almost finished - I just need to sort out the conclusion, which I'm really not happy with at the moment.

    4) No need to go outside on a miserably wet and windy day.

    5) Game casserole for dinner, although it will probably be only a small portion as my stomach doesn't feel very happy for some reason. :( The rest can go into the freezer for another day, though, so nothing will be wasted.
Back after a very long break!

Good luck with the interview Skinty, sounds like you're far more prepared than I ever am at these things!! :)

    1. NSD :)

    2. Helpful chappies at W!ckes who didn't have the paint DD and I wanted for her room, but tried their hardest to find a suitable colour then recommended somewhere else for us to try.

    3. DD - who steered me away from things I didn't need to spend money on whilst we were out! Bless her for thinking of me :)

    4. Fabulous time at church this morning :)

    5. My lovely friend who is going to have DD over for a sleepover later in the month so I can go to a churchy dinner party, nomnom. I have very fond memories of the Alpha dinner parties.....

    6. I made deelish dinner, prawn red thai curry for me and my infamous bean soup for OH and DD, lots of leftovers as well, hoorah!

    7. Lovely chats with lovely friends today.

    8. OH is here and I reckon a bit of back massage is on the cards for us both later, as we're both a bit sore and achy :);):)

    9. Sold another CD :)
    oooh and another one! :):)

    10. Watching Wallis & Gromit with DD and OH :)

Purple kitten, sorry you feeling unwell and hope you soon feel better.

Sparrer, you have a good friend in your windscreen wiper repairer. It is great that you will have the opportunity to return the favour.

CCP, reasons to be cheerful, very Ian Dury. But seriously, very good point, trying to find things to be grateful for/pleasures even when we are very dispirited (((hugs for better days ahead for us all)))

Skint yet again, just want to say good luck for the interview on Tuesday, in case i forget or don't get chance nearer the time.

Forgot to add my 5 for today LOL.

    Here goes..l

    1. Easy tasty and healthy meal in slow cooker. Vegetables and borlotti beans in a rich tomato and basil sauce.

    2. Showed DS how to make waffle mixture the other day. He is right now making his own waffles. Yay! After grumbling that he might accidentally poison himself if he has to make his own. DOH!

    3. Gave collie a new toy and she is like a dog with two tails lollllollol!

    4. Watching alias season 1 and eva cassidy is singing in the background of one of the scenes...'songbird''

    5. Txt from mum. My maternal grandmother would have been 102 tomorrow. Bless her soul.
