Right, move over you lot. I missed yous and. I am back!

Happy free of the ball and chain day to the Aussies! Minds me of the Aussie fizz lager and making lovin in a canoe! Glad SPARRA says the snow has gone, means I can zoom the pirate ship across tomorrow, after yet more blood tests.

    Weekend was this then

5 Long run home Friday to Lady Black. Did not risk Mary who cannot drive coming out at two horse paces and giving up. M5 was far better, even cowed when four by four was flipped. Artistic impression, 4, degree of difficulty, 7. Technical ability, 0.

4 Down smoke yestdi. Barking. Great win for my team and great fun. Bitt long day and missed you lot.

3 Wents out for snake and mushroom as well. Smashed the barrier and got all wobbleades.

2 Doing some photos and may link up Friday for you lots.

1 sleep nice. You do not want to be gruff like BoP.

    PM to DD.

BREAKING NEWS. Police have arranged the kick off for the Luton v Millwall FA cup tie to 10:30. It will at an undue closed venue.

    2. sorted wardrobe and made myself part with clothes I have been hording for a few years. Was quite ruthless :p

    3. Space to now put away belts, handbags and shoes. Feeling rather smug. Had to stop myself from hoovering as am supposed to be "resting"

  • Mhags, hoping your OH is feeling much better very soon.
CCP. Hugs, I wonder why some antibiotics are so yuck.

    1. Me time, a bath, a face pack and using up deep hair conditioner.
    2. Took some chocolate brownie out of the freezer to defrost for later and shocker it lasted sat and sun.
    3. We visited our local cs shops to get some air and came away empty handed.
    4. Popped to Mr T to get some bread for sandwiches for a day out DH wants to do tomorrow.

    5. A few rtc goodies, and reduced work sarnies.

    7. Sundays, Managed to get up and out in time to go out for the day to a “pay and play off road day”
    8. Made and took a packed lunch with us, very MSE.:money:

    9. Had a fabulous time honestly took that car places I never thought it would go and a great way of learning the car.
    10. Caved to a take away tonight, not MSE but greatly enjoyed and on a BOGOF offer, so will be DH's lunch tomorrow as well.

Supposed to be working but I can't be [STRIKE]ar[/STRIKE] bothered:p

    1. Snow has gone - did I have this yesterday? Ah well, don't care, it's gone, it's gone, it's gone :j
    2. Nice walk with OH this PM to look at the floods in town. They rather sensibly planned part of the town to flood (in fields) to protect the town centre. It is the only sensible bit of planning ever undertaken in this town - just to see a picture of the old Victorian railway station is enough to make you weep, compared to what we have now.
    3. OH and I went out this morning to buy our christmas pressies - walking gear. I got new boots and they were £19 - reduced from £80!! Or so they said...
    4. Cleaned the bathroom and cleaned and tidied the bedroom and found my knitting pattern so I can continue with it.
    5. Anticipated pleasure of clean sheets tonight.
I wanna be in the room where it happens

    1) murray winning first set (sad after that)
    2) very nice service followed by shared lunch of haggis neeps and tatties
    3) then pub to watch leeds beat spurs
    4) then we piled round to one of choir members flats for cups of tea and singing round the organ
    5) then lift home from one of servers who is interested in our organ. Took opportunity to gift 1/2 size violin to other server whose daughter is 2.

CCP - I feel a bit rubbish on my antibiotics too! Only a 3 day course for me, though. I'm allergic to penicillin so they are limited to what they can prescribe. The throat infection type they hand over saying "These WILL make you feel sick"!

Here are my pleasures for today:

    1) A lie in.

    2) Got all the washing put away and cleaned the living room floor.

    3) Went swimming with my brother.

    4) My school friend came round.

    5) Had HM soup (from the freezer) and HM bread (made this morning) for tea.

    6) Sons came home from their fathers'. Smaller son did his homework in about 5 minutes and bigger son enjoyed showing my friend all the magic tricks he has learned.

    7) Now sitting in front of the stove doing nothing!

    Evening

Pleasures for the last couple of days,

    Saturday
    1. Food shopping done for the week and came in £7 under budget and it included a £6 pair of trousers for DD.:money:
    2. Lazy couple of hours when I got home from shopping reading my book and a little snooze
    3. Chinese at inlaws for dinner - I made pork dimsums and sweet chilli chicken to take with us. All was very yummy and sociable.
    4. Yummy glass of wine with dinner
    5. Home to cosy pjs and a nice sleep

    Sunday
    1. Bit of a lie in and watched the first two sets of the tennis in bed
    2. Free cup of tea in Waitr0se with a chocolate custard cream from a small pack that DD had brought from home with her :money:
    3. DD some new boots in the sale
    4. Yummy slow cooked beef for dinner and quite a bit left for lunches during the week
    5. Have started knitting a baby cardigan for my new expected great niece (should be with us in June). Nephews wife asked me to knit a cardigan as she doesn't know anyone who can knit. I didn't have the heart to say no. This evening has involved several calls to my mum to decipher pattern, think I am getting there. Mum can't knit anymore as can't grip the needles due to stroke but enjoyed laughing at my bodged attempts.:o

Hugs to all who need them. CCP, Frith and Mhagster OH get well NOW

Determined effort to fiind 5 pleasures and ignore broken down car being stuck a long way away...
    1. DH home safe from weekend away
    2. found TV Catch up app which means free tv via ipad, yay
    3. Tried veggie shepherds pie recipe which no-one complained about (amazing)
    4. Sowed first veggie seeds (oriental greens, probably too soon but hey) although can't find the propagator which (I am almost sure) lurks in the garage...
    5. Watching rabbit gently chasing a pigeon around the garden. Not very hard, given the apparently low IQ of the pigeon... but funny! Also funny how most birds vanished today, as it's Big Garden Birdwatch day. Have found that before. Do you think they know?
Gnight all, hugs to those in need and sleep well :)

Really feel for all of you who are having a difficult time right now (((hugs)))

    My 5 for today:

    1. Corned beef sandwiches. I had forgotten how much i enjoyed them. I'm not a woman of complicated tastes lol!

    2. This evening i began to crochet granny squares again. Only little ones about 3 inch square, but so cute when lined up side by side. I am a blanket making freakazoid. Just so enjoy them once they are made, as well as the enjoyment while making them, of course. The yarn is rico cotton and i have a multitude of colours to play with :)

    3. The snow has all but cleared. The roads locally are clear once more, as are most of the pathways. Won't be sad to see the back of it. Never thought i would be glad to have the rain back, but i am. When Dd took our dog for a walk in the snow the other night, she said that she threw a snowball and told collie to 'fetch' it. One very con-fuddled dog tried to track it down on a blanket of snow covered grass. Cuteness.

    4. 2 handsome bobbies knocked on the door this afternoon, one opened the door (the chain was on) and shouted ' its the police!'...i went to the door and i must have looked confused because he said ' you don't seem to know why we are here?' My first thought was that my mum or brother had died and the police were coming to tell me (i had this nightmare experience when my daughters father died and e police came to tell me)...but as it turned out, they thought i had phoned them. I sent them next house down as there is all sorts of goings on with police and fire engines there frequently. Bizzarre.

    5. Steam cleaner mop thing. Norty dog just did her business in the kitchen after just being let out to do it out there. Grrrrr.
