NSD Challenge: October 0/140 -
morning all feeling a bit more positive today so heres a few pleasures
1. have had a lot of pain since physio but at least I have a proper diagnosis.
It is not tennis elbow as the doc has been telling me, it is a trapped nerve in my neck/left arm. I have had this for years in my right arm and it was not a blooming pleasure when the physio student kept whacking me with the reflex hammer and could not find a reflex in my right arm. Then her supervisor had a go and couldnt find one either. Expected to be black and blue after that ! Thankfully there is still a reflex in my left arm so hopefully some physio/acupuncture will help over next few weeks
2. pain has eased today. Had a good sleep last night and have tidied up this morning.... dishwasher and washing machine on and...

The sun is shining, it's a beautiful day and I'm all going to get all mufflered up to go into the garden
Have a good one, hope it's sunny where you are whatever the weather0 -
Pleased you enjoyed the link. I'm still trying to fold a tee shirt Ninja style but just can't grasp it - literally!
... <snip snip>
1. nsd/npd, must count them up but at least half of this month so far. Will never catch up with Broomstick though!
Sparrer, I'm saving that tshirt folding thing for when I have done the ironing. Could be a while! Lovely link, thanks for that.
Re NSDs :rotfl: it's not a race! Quite honestly, there are days at the moment where I feel that managing an NSD is about the only thing that is going right (and actually, it only comes about because I've done nothing).
Off to do more filing/decluttering/recycling and maybe another trip to the dump. We are back on sunny flood alert but the river's still safe and the info is that it should just rise slowly.

Pleasures for today (Saturday) so far.
1) Not a bad sleep.
2) It's thawing! Had 8 days where we couldn't see a bit of grass (or pavement) but its going now.
3) Changed the beds, pulled them out and hoovered. And did 3 loads of washing.
4) Currently at sister's house dogsitting. Their dog barks non-stop if they go out and they're spending the afternoon meeting a new baby.
5) Sister will be bringing a Chinese takeaway back with her. :-)
6) Looking forward to Casualty later.0 -
7) I just got another rosette!0

Australia Day grocery shopping....no biscuits purchased.
Australia Day afternoon snooze.
Australia Day Thai takeaway using spare change.
Australia Day enhanced with the knowledge that Andy Murray won on Burns night!!!
Have a great Australia Day0 -
1) hatters stuff canaries
2) dd and i took all we could carry to CS
3) ds came home to pick up clothes. UNfortunately 2 of the items were 2 of the 46 odd socks i had put in the charity rcycle bin 2 hours earlier but nice to see him. Bought him his fave steak pie from the butchers who had a sign saying 'no horsing about with our burgers' lol
4) another lovely lunch starting with xmas sprouts. Only 1 portion left.
5) found some coffee 'pods' for a machine we have neverhad. No idea where they came from. Look like giant teabags but didnt work too well just in a mug. So cut other 14 open and emptied contents into tin. Will use in our machine that takes grounds. Feeling rather pleased with my waste not solution
Have a good evening all. We've a Burns lunch after church tomorow. I have mashed 5 pounds spuds for the clapshot as requested by the catering team. I will also take my marmite flavoured chocolate to see if anyone's brave enough to tryMrsSD declutter medals 2023 🏅🏅🏅⭐⭐ 2025

Mhags - happy Australia day
Quiet day today - I may struggle for 5
1. Clean kitchen
2. Bacon sandwich for lunch - been craving one for weeks
3. Lazy bath after cleaning kitchen
4. The snow has gone
5. OH and I are looking up places for our summer hols.
Night nightI wanna be in the room where it happens0 -
Five from me for Saturday:
1. Morning in bed working and DS1 brought me a cup of real coffee before he went out without me asking him.
2. It was warm enough and sunny enough to have the bedroom window open. It's a delicious feeling being all warm and toasty in bed while breathing in cool fresh air.
3. Very good stirfrywith tofu for supper. Have saved a few spoonfuls to see what stirfry pasties turn out like. They will either be wonderful or dire. :rotfl:
4. Ended up having a spend day after all. I discovered that we had run out of black printer ink (aaagh - well organised system fell down) and I couldn't print tomorrow's AA travel instructions without it. While I was spending I ended up topping up the contents of my emergency toiletries kit which was a job that needed doing and it was lovely to do it all in one go.
5. Another bin bag of shredding complete. :T
Sweet dreams
