Well done, PK! And congratulations to Kittikins on the reference. :-)

Day of ups and downs here...

    1) Not a bad sleep.

    2) CAMHS man came round to see smaller son and said, as everyone does, that he has a lot of autistic traits. He thinks smaller son should be assessed again and, now he is older, he might be diagnosed with Aspergers. Anyway, the CAMHS man is nice and is writing a report for school.

    3) Meeting with the Head saying she wants a "managed move" for smaller son to start at a new school. It was a pleasure in that I didn't feel forced into making a decision. I am completely undecided on what will be the best for him but definitely want to see how his statement goes. HUGE multi disciplinary meeting on Friday where all the experts will get together for a chat.

    4) Put some new plants in the gap in the garden where I pulled the nasty, spikey plant out. Got some more lavendar (spelling?), cyclamen, pansies etc.

    5) Cooking a big tea. Roast gammon, roast veg (sweet pots, pots, carrots, garlic and peppers), stuffing, gravy and home made crab apple and blackberry jelly.

    6) Brother is coming round for tea.

    7) Takeaway Secret book came through the post.

    8) Nice mum at school who has the only child in the place with a statement had another discussion with me about how quick school are to try and get rid of smaller son. They are also playing silly beggars about her son so she has invited me round for a cup of tea. She works as a SEN TA and her husband is a child psychologist!

    9) House looking surprisingly tidy.

  • Kittikins, great news about the reference! :)

Congratulations on getting the job Purple kitten :T

Frith, that's good you have some support from the mum at school :)

I've done my words for today now, and since Friday I've done about 6,000 words, which is two chapters. Sounds silly, but I'm looking forward to finding out what happens next as I don't really think about what to write until I start typing each time!
