    Evening all.

    1) My day didn't start well when I put on my watch - the one I bought a new strap for when visiting my parents a couple of weeks ago - and the nice new strap disintergrated in my hands. Luckily, one of the nice things about dealing with small companies is that they're (usually) keen to put problems right, and they've offered to pay for me to post the watch back to them, and they'll then replace the strap and post it back to me when it's fixed. :T:T

    2) HM quiche for lunch, although it was a bit soggy - I've never managed to freeze HM quiche without it going soggy :( - and, even after eating it, I couldn't tell you what flavour it was. :o

    3) Reverbed a penny. :money:

    4) Made an inexpert but fairly successful attempt at repairing a hole in the seam of one of my work cardigans / jackets - the hole is under the collar so no-one can see that it's not the most elegant bit of needlework the world has ever seen. :o

    5) I'm not sure if this is a pleasure or not: I'm still a bit worried about mog so, rather than going to the quiz (which would be a bit tight for time now anyway), I'm going to stay at home with all the windows and doors open to try and cool him off a bit. It means I don't have to rush over my dinner, which is a pleasure, I suppose. :undecided

    Have a pleasant evening, all.
Back after a very long break!

Currently sitting next to grumpy, freshly neutered cat!

Just thought I'd share what bigger son said earlier on. Smaller son comes out with lots of malapropisms, bigger son only very rarely.

So bigger son, trying to stop an argument starting with smaller son. "Come on, C - let bisons be bisons" :-D

He had no idea it was supposed to be bygones!

    Good evening all !

Frith - bless little Mr. Malaprop:D

OT- my naked friend was as shocked as the boy on his pony and she said that she shouted at him - a naked angry woman in wellies with a rake doesn't bear( or bare;) ) thinking about .

Dundee -Roadkilled £25 since January how so??

    5 for today

    1. Lovely weather

    2. OH tidied up the kitchen and washed down all the cupboards, worktops and floor and it looks fab.The hens got in as OH left the door open and pooped on the clean slate floor .

3.Free basil and tomato bagette from Mr. T with a voucher .

    4. Nasi goreng for tea made with spring onions and a courgette from the garden and of course fresh eggs .I had to be very cautious with the amount of paste I put in as it blew OH's head off last time I made it as it was laden with chillis.

    5. Loving my 1p book :D

    6. Meds. changed and its sooo nice not to feel so sedated !

TILAMS while 5-2 can be a little confuzzling at times, I do agree that 1 is always wise words and make a lot of sense :)
Frith, loved Frith Jnr's slip :D
CCP thank goodness for helpful small companies. The chains may be cheaper but their 'service' is nothing in comparison

    1. Good start to the morning, a little cooler so got lots done before going out

    2. Dropped some clothes off at the cs, clearing out a few bits at a time and still have more to go. The wardrobes/cupboards etc are looking much neater

    3. DS and family arrived from Lancs, we went to collect my new ipad which the courier tried to deliver while I was out this morning. It's now charging and DS is going to set it up for me later. It has a built-in kindle so will be perfect for holidays and long journeys

    4. Simple but tasty tea of salmon pasta, tomato & mozzarella salad, asparagus and herb salad with fresh raspberries, blueberries and rf ice cream to follow. I think they enjoyed it, there's nothing left :D

    5. Drizzling just enough for me not to have to use my water on the garden.

    Sleep well, sweet dreams :)

Hello, here are my pleasures for today:

    1. This morning while DH was having breakfast and I was making his packed lunch (which I always do) he commented that I must have saved him a fortune by giving him these nice packed lunches! It is good to get a bit of recognition, I was well pleased!

    2. Processed and frozen a batch of French and runner beans from garden and allotment.

    3. Caught the last 1/2 lt. Of milk in time before it turned and it is being made into yogurt overnight. It is sitting in my cool box inside a large flask, all wrapped in a woollen blanket.

    4. Nice dinner out with a friend. A bit on the pricey side but ok as I am well within Grocery Challenge budget (meals out count as grocery).

    5. Free Pimms cocktail for me and friend after dinner, from an offer we found online. Very very nice!

    Good night.
Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).

    My five are:

1)Managed to get the hoovering done by 8.30 this morning (sorry neighbours!)

2)Bought a few more present for 'that time of the year' and popped them away. Last year I had just moved house and didn't get time to enjoy the holiday season so Im being efficient for a change.

3)Persuading the OH to buy a new cooker and washing machine! only took a year.

4)Taking the dog for a walk this evening, stopping off to buy a bar of chocolate on route. Lovely night!!!

    5) Our 4 year old deciding he needed to sleep at his grandmas this evening, he's not a good sleeper so it will be nice to get a full nights sleep.
PPI Claims won £3000:j now free of all credit card debt after 10 years.

Will I win my Lloyds battle!!!

Currently saving for our wedding and what seems like a million other things":)
