    Hey Everyone!

Kittikins - so sorry to hear about the job. Hope it opens up new possibilities for you and things work out ok.

    My 5 for yesterday:

1 - Lots of hugs from a work friend as I was having a sressy day.

2 - The most random chat from some of the management team in the centre where I work.

3 - My mam being the most amazing person I know and always being there for me.

    4 - A nice long bubble bath.

5 - Curling up in bed and watching Despicable Me. That and the bath was just what I needed after a long stressy day.

5 for today so far (Tuesday)

    1) Quite a good sleep.

    2) Popped to Sainsburys.

    3) Worked on the request for smaller son's assessment so he can have a statement at school (of special needs). Wrote 2,100 words on it yesterday. Phoned Parent Partnership. Obviously got the wrong lady before because today's help was ace! I've emailed it off to her for double checking.

    4) Went into Ludlow and checked all the charity shops. Did really well. Got 2 vest tops for £10 which look like new. Next shop - got a White Stuff tunic top for £6 !!

    5) Text from OH in Finland.

    6) Just been phoned by my brother who is going to cook tea for me. Mum usually cooks for him so when he cooks, it is always something magnificent like venison or jugged hare! Homemade chips are often involved too.

    7) Hoping Holby City is on later so I can watch it in bed on iplayer.

    Sparrer Hedgehogs! aaaawwwwwwwww
    my 5
    1. A lovely sunny day
    2. de-cluttering continues apace. 9 bin bags to go to the tip. half the wheeliebin full too. stuff ready to go to the charity shop. 1 carrier bag donated to a charity so they can sell the things. Another carrier bag of new stuff taken to the local 2nd hand shop for them to sell for me. some stationary crayons etc given to a neighbours children.
I have kept too much, good things, nice things and some rubbish. But theres a limit what I can wear/use. Someone else can have the use of it.
    3. Horses have gone up a step in maturity. They lead well now and can tell them rather than ask. Very satisfying.
    4. started de-cuttering the last room in the house-the kitchen
    5. looking forward to a good soak in the bath later
Frith - Ludlow- I havent been for a while but am going next week , did you call in De Grey's for a coffee?

    Evening all.

    1) The weather forecast was for rain today, so I wore trousers to work only for it to turn into a scorchingly hot sunny day. This is a pleasure, not a complaint - I can live with being too hot in exchange for proper summer weather. :)

    2) Met a new colleague who I will be working closely with and she's lovely, although I hope her extreme enthusiasm will wear down just a fraction as she gets more experience. :o

    3) Finally got round to ordering the new pair of sandals I desperately need for work - my existing pair now has a hole in one of them :o - and found a nice pair with £10 off, and loyalty points too. :money:

    4) Paid in the cheque for another company's loyalty points. :money:

    5) Decided to go to the pub quiz tonight, rather than the Thursday one - usually it's too tight for time if I want dinner after getting home, but I'm really not hungry tonight so I can have a bowl of cereal and a walk along the seafront in the sunshine instead. :)

    Have a nice evening, all.
Back after a very long break!

    Good evening all !

OT- I want your life !:D

Frith- I want your brother !;)

    5 for today

    1. Pain not too bad today but my left side is even more "dead " than usual .

    2. Mum went out so I had Miss. Barker the dog over and we both had a nice nap this afternoon.

    3. Downloaded some free books for my Kindle which look quite interesting. Ordered a book for £2.81 called "Voluntary Simplicity"(used of course as I am not fussy ) with my Amaz*n birthday voucher that I got in May - I still have £18.00 left on it .:D

    4. A courgette had turned into a huge marrow since Sunday so had this for tea in cheese sauce.

    5. Eight eggs from eight hens again. The youngsters eggs are almost full size now and they look lovely in a box all blue, cream and brown eggs .This still amazes me even after 7 years of keeping hens.

Have a good evening all !
:AToo fat to be Felicity Kendal , but aim for a bit more of the good life :A

Mcculloch - nice to see you back from the podium ;) No- let the cleaner clean I say :D or send him/her around to VJsmums house to give her DH a tutorial :rotfl:

    :rotfl: But not the sewers!
McCulloch - when I had a cleaner with spare time (not often) I would get her to clean windows or wipe down paintwork

Ooh Ludlow - love it there. All those yummy food shops. Must go for a good mooch sometime

    For today

    1. Cleaned one minging bathroom - the ensuite. The other one isn't so bad as kids haven't been here to use it.
    2. Holiday washing all done and dried completely outside
    3. Back to work - not a pleasure. But a good gossip with colleagues was
    4. Slept through for the second night running - in your face, jet lag
    5. Smiling rather than crying at a memory that popped into my head of my mum singing Tommy Cooper's "Don't jump off the roof dad"

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SvJc7szD-RM

Randomly, some years ago I was singing this to myself in the car. The next day my friend at work started singing it out of the blue  Spooky
    Right, must do the dishes.
I wanna be in the room where it happens
