  • Morning all. Just nipping in afore docs.

KK we play monopoly with an extra item, a toy bulldozer, so when it is collect time, on comes the bulldozer to clear up. Sounds that DD is using all her skills. Still, one sure fire way to win, rules are stored under the board. When they need to be checked, guess what!!!

Right, off now to get cheese for my, sorry SPARRARS, sarnies on my trip to Wembley.

    Hurrah for Friday evening :)

    1. Not as madly busy at work today after a very busy week, got lots done and ever so glad it was the last day of the week!

2.Was pouring with rain when I went to work this morning but brightened up by the time I came home......still rather chilly though.

3.My DD1 is on her way home :) from snow camp, will see her in a couple of hours. I missed her cheery personality.

    4. My friend from home let me know her son has been accepted for college. He's been friends with DD1 since toddlers and did not want to go back to school after summer holidays. So I'm so happy that he can go to college.

5.Have done my ironing whilst watching a DVD from the library. The good thing about DS being suspended (searching for positives!!) is his uniform washing /ironing already done..., DD1 away so no uniform...just a pile of soggy snow stuff I imagine and DD2 had sports uniform on, so school shirts all done already!

Anyway, have a lovely day! It's almost the weekend for you too!

    Good evening all !

Hello and welcome to all of the newbies .

VJsmum- I quite agree about the washing machine. I think it is the idea of the "wholesome " lifestyle that appeals and the muscular young men , but I could NOT cope with 'pit hair, no mirror, and rags when its the wrong totm . The horses I could deal with :DSafe journey x x back to a tidy house and shiny sewer ;) tee hee .

    5 for today

    1. Phone call from OH who said that he had been suspended on full pay for an utterly ridiculous reason. He was home by 1pm .At least he can enjoy the sun for a few weeks.

2.Lovely weather 3 lots of washing dried on the line . I also did some housework shock horror:eek:

    3. Banked some change- my 50p for my brother's 50th party next year has risen to £230 (been saving them since Jan. 2010 )- woo hoo .The teller in the bank said that a lot of people had been banking their change for their summer holidays. I said mine was purely OCD as I have always had an obsession about counting out and bagging up everyones change for them .I couldn't cope with it sitting in one of those huge bottles !

    4. Hens so hot they have had their wings held out in order to try and cool down. I have put some grapes in the fridge and they have been popping these all day.

    5. Courgettes have turned into marrows almost overnight - its lucky that I love them in cheese sauce !

Have a lovely weekend all !
:AToo fat to be Felicity Kendal , but aim for a bit more of the good life :A
