Frith - not coming darn sarf are you ?

DD - ((hugs)) re Sam's Auntie

    5 for today

    1. Busy day did 1.5 hours toil so might slope of early on Thursday or tomorrow.

2.Attended a case conference out of my locality , the drive there was lovely overlooking the Downs :)

    3. The OGV has super air conditioning - it gets so cold that it freezes the disc in the Sat. Nav :rotfl:

    4. A ready meal for tea (rtc of course) as I am pooped , bumped it up with fresh veg.

    5. I still have a tidy house in OH's absence. I am not the sort of person who "pines" without his company . This drives him mad ! We are what we are ;)

6.Looking forward to going out with my cousin to a nice country pub on Thursday night for a meal :)

Have a good evening all !

Thinking of all of the poorlies in the Mchags household.
Sparrer Zip wire across Wembly wow.

Wow thanks for all of the well wishes its very humbling, I don’t feel too bad at the mo, just pulled about. No complaints about the NHS, just feeling a bit tired with the pain but they can’t find wassup yet.
    1. I took the day off today to take it easy and get over yesterday, I do remember the work world is very unforgiving when not feeling 100%
    2. Made a cheeky bacon and tomato sarnie for breakfast. Nom nom.
    3. A daft one but wearing a really floaty dress feels lovely in this weather feels nice n cool, saying that thou I don’t cope with heat well
    4. 2 loads of washing done and line dried/drying on the “free electric”.
    5. Just pulling together what has turned into anything leftover packed with veg in chicken soup topped with mash, hopefully it will turn out better than it sounds:o:rotfl:
    6. Watching the birds use the animal water to cool off in, poor things, I keep not going out as I don’t want to disturb them doh.
    7. Dug out my lidls sandals for work, but hoping that my clarkes sale bargains arrive very soon to make the most of this weather, not had much luck recently with anything ordered of the web is taking blumin ages I’m surprised, but then thats what I get for opting for free delivery.
    8. A strange pleasure but I have found a lovely new very local dentist who while private doesn’t charge the earth, just very nicely re fitted my front tooth veneer at 7pm and £40 lighter. I can do this now:D

mhagster - loads of laringitus (spelt wrong) and tonsilitus going about at the moment almost epidemic proportions.

    1. Washing, washing, washing almost coming out of my ears, but in fairness this is my winter prep stuff so glad for this weather to get it dry.

    2. Cleaned/washed Vaxed the carpets - came up smashing really pleased.

    3. Had our evening meal out on the patio tonight and it was really nice. Had a brief moment of thought that in a few months time it will have snow on it probably!

    4. Windows in the house all open letting fresh air in.

    5. Lovely to see and get the washing dry on the line in no time at all.
Cat, Dogs and the Horses are our fag and beer money :D

    Evening everyone

Big hugs to the poorly people/households; lucky things those who have been away/their children have been away.

It's been a glorious day here today. I've tried to make the most of it and went for a mooch around town, treating myself to an over-priced iced tea. :o

So, my 5 OS pleasures.... (some might be tenuous...)

    1) made a large batch of bolognese sauce, using loads of veggies from the fridge to bulk it out.

    2) bought DH a book from Oxfam. He got a stack of books cheaply from The Book People, all by the same author and I think he needs a little break!

    3) 3 loads of washing done and dried OUTSIDE

    4) some ironing done (but not all; do you know how hot it's been?! :D)

    5) had a lovely pork pie from the local butcher's for lunch. Not OS, but delicious nevertheless!!!

    3. grateful to be able to afford an indian takeaway for tea and only ate 1/3 so rest boxed up for 2 lunches and put in freezer, and it was 20% off after all ;)
    4. grateful to have my health and mobility at the moment, managed 40mins walk tonight
    5. grateful for the lovely sunset over the local pond on my return from my walk, very pretty

Realising I've got lots to be grateful for :)

    Good evening!

    Here are my pleasures:

    1 - Another sunny day

2 - Picnic lunch with DH in his lunch hour

3 - Excellent bargain olive oil in Mr S online, stocked for a few months

4 - DS and his friend sanded the garden table, ready to oil it now

5 - Amazing dinner of mixed veg pakoras and side vegetables, eaten with the family, in the garden

    Good night all x
Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).

Mhags and everyone feeling poorly, wishing you all well :)
DD had to chuckle at zippy, my DM says I was vaccinated with a gramophone needle so I'm sure she'd be very grateful if I zip it occasionally :D

    1. Up with the lark, washing on line, session with physio at pulm rehab class then 45 mins gym. Feeling another ci coming on so on physio's advice I called into the surgery for an appt but got to see a nurse practitioner straight away, for more anti-b's and steroids. Thanks, NHS

    2. Got my hair cut at college and dyed it red at home, total cost £12

    3. Phone call from the plasterer who was 'definitely' coming tomorrow, to say he needs to finish the job he started today. He needs to get himself here and do mine, that's the third time he's let me down . The up side is I have a completely free day tomorrow so will be spending it in the garden :D

    4. Took the car to be valeted, they've brought the price down from £14 to £12 for inside and out, due to so few people having their cars cleaned these days. It's sad for them, but helps me

    5. Postie brought me a very generous cheque from DM and a gardening voucher from ex-OH. I'm going to visit the garden centre after my weekend away for a new bay, and the cheque will more than pay for a replacement hub cap, which I lost a few weeks back.

    Stay.get well, sleep tight :)

    Morning

    Pleasures for yesterday,
    1. Walked to and from work so saved on bus fare. Normally only walk home from work.
    2. Remembered to bring lunch with me to work again. Sat outside eating my lunch reading in the sunshine.
    3. Bumped into a friend that I had lost touch with. Lovely to see her and her son.
    4. Takeaway for dinner at OH's suggestion. It was too hot in my kitchen to think about cooking.
    5. DD had taken Grandma shopping so looks like I won't need to buy her many new clothes for college in September ;)

Hugs to all who need them

2 If I recieve another tweet about a football club in the South of England and how I could save it, I will personally rip your arms off and hit you with the soggy ends so that you can no longer use your communicative device.

1 Should we expunge from the records, the deeds of those who cheated? Those that misled, cheated their own. But their flock, should we punish them as well? Were they joyous in false victory, knowingly of the deciet that had been commited. Who are the innocents in this. The one who picked up the pieces every week, only for the envelope to be empty.
