Chicken:- I am naturally a very chilled person, it takes a hell of a lot to wind me up, which goes to show just how much some dappy immature bint really pushed her luck day after bloody day. I’ve calmed a bit thanks to a lot of vitamins and some choc. She is driving husband and I loopy. If I get to a point where I shout it’s too late.
I’m also still getting chest pains which is putting me on edge a little as well.

Hmmm Dead frogs, the ferrets are sods if a frog has wandered in it won't last and it's so gory. Think I'm off dead frogs. the other delicacy is slug...eeewww

1.Another lovely day at work, loving taking a lunch in the sun as well and they are still a nice enough bunch of people.
    2. Got to watch a band in a deck chair with my packed lunch in the sun, it was lovely.
    3. House was lovely and clean to come home to thanks to DH.
    4. Tea will be very late tonight, I’m going to do some fajita wrap things.
    5. Vitamins and cups of tea have been a pleasure
    6. Theres left over choc cheese cake – seriously it won’t be there long now I mean I wouldn’t want it to go off.

  • Good evening, everyone, hope all are peachy.
Thanks for telling us Wilf's story, Tilams. Glad he got to do what he wanted in life.
Well done for sending off your application, Skint yet again. Got my fingers crossed for you (or my thumbs pressed, as they say over here! :D).
Sugar Shack sounds fun, VJsmum. Read an article about American pancakes this morning and have been craving them with maple syrup ever since!
    My pleasures for today:

    1. Been very hot and sunny (almost too hot in fact, but trying to look on the bright side!). Big rain storm this evening, so hopefully will be a little milder tomorrow.
    2. Nice fruit salad of pineapple, raspberries and blueberries for lunch.
    3. Walking past some football fans before the match started who looked very happy, all dressed up in German flags and banging drums. Probably not quite so cheerful now...
    4. Changing into my pyjamas after getting quite wet walking home. Now all nice and cosy.
    5. Listening to the Nadal/Rosol match. Exciting stuff!

TILAMS, Skint and Chicken, now you're all just taking the Michael! ;)
Chicken it might have been but no, I'm a Londoner, albeit not quite a Cockney sparrer, and I used to be in a choir. Proves sparrers can sing :o
Skint thanks for the reason for my shiny metallic car looking like it went for a wallow down in the hollow

    1. gym this morning, did a few more reps on everything than I managed yesterday
    2. mowed the lawn, clipped the edges, picked some loganberries and raspberries
    3. nsd
    4. DD did some typing, printing and laminating for me
    5. Did some hand washing and got it line dried
    6. The weather. I love it even it it does mean extra use of the neb I'm certainly not complaining. Very thankful to the NHS for the meds and equipment helping me breathe. I'm sure the gym and classes help, this time last year I had to stop two or three times while mowing even though the lawn is only about 18' x 15'. Now I can do it in one :D. Which of course leads to
    7. Fresh air, open doors/windows til five minutes ago
    8. Italy won
    9. There's a chicken (rtc, £2) with a jar of curry paste (rtc 89p) and lots of veg in the slow cooker which will portion into 8. It smells delish, I'm looking forward to tomorrow's dinner :D
    10. I've had three collection bags posted through the letterbox this week, I get so many that even if I only put one item in each bag I get I'd have nothing left after a year! They've joined the bag of bags I've sorted out for the local charity warehouse who are always needing carriers.

    Sleep tight :)

    No worms this sunny morn.

5 The smell of toasting crumpets, buttered and spread with jam. Corn flakes, cup of tea. What a start for the day. And cat made it to his window seat it two flops. He is free, buyer collects. Eats everything and very cuddly.

4 Grog tests into doctors. Still firkin jiggered. Zzzzzzzzzz required. Got reports to write at work come Monday.

3 Just cannot trust the blooming Germans can we. Had them and Spain in my dream team at work. Loads of points till now. Blow it.

2 Really did show how good the England defence were though.

1 In life, you get one chance. I have used mine up like a cat. So watch out tigress.

Thanks for the guinea pig and other advice chaps, very gratefully received :) x

Yesterday's goodies, I seem to be running a day behind every day at the moment.....

    1. OH came over for soup and a sleepover :)

    2. Lovely chats with a couple of chums

    3. Sent L*vefilm an email as I've just taken up an offer with them but haven't received any films, and was querying whether it had gone through ok, and got a lovely email back apologising profusely and adding on some more credit to my account, yay to them for being so lovely!

    4. Fabulous evening with chums

    5. DD amazed me by doing her homework, due in next Wednesday, straight away - and doing a great job :)

Thank you for all your good wishes for DD and her prom. She had a wonderful time and there was no bullying which was a great relief.

    Pleasures for today,
    1. Lunch with good friends at work. We all brought something in so was both OS and MSE (especially as my dish was made with RTC turkey breast and an extra discount kicked in at the checkout when I bought it :money:)
    2. Lovely invite to a Christening next weekend. Will give me a chance to catch up with some friends that I don't get to see very often as well.
    3. Reading another good book on the Kindle. If you are not too easily scared can highly recommed S J Bolton, she writes excellent crime / thriller novels but be warned they are pretty scary.
    4. Managing to keep the ironing basket empty and getting a little done often. Not sure how long I will be able to keep it up but will see.
    5. DD hoovering the downstairs for me, she has been very helpful for the past couple of weeks which is certainly reflecting itself in how tody the house is looking.

Sorry one more which is a biggie
    6. SIL has just given me and DD tickets for Centre Court at Wimbledom on Monday, Woohoo

Hugs to all who need them

Afternoon. Popped on to add my pleasures for today.

    1. The day has gone quickly.
    2. It's Friday.
    3. A cup of tea and a sit down.
    4. Taking my hair down. It's been in a clip all day and it feels nice.
    5. Nope, can't think of a fifth.

I wouldn't say it has been a bad day, just long, tiring and very hard work. A few things have gone wrong, some have gone right but mainly it's just bean head down and crack on. (minor rant about people who tailgate!) and relax. Have a lovely evening, everyone. (((hugs))) to those in need.

    K xx
