Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
    Evening all.

I'm not sure I've got 5 for today, but had to post at least one:

    1) Got some antibiotics from my GP, and the tablets are yellow. How appropriate! :rotfl:

    2) Treated myself to a baguette from the local sarnie shop for lunch as I accidentally left my packed lunch in the car, in a car park a painful hobble away. And it was raining and I couldn't be bothered to walk. :o

    3) Only one more day at work and then I've got a week off. :j

    4) My bad foot gives me an excuse to get a taxi to the pub quiz tonight. As it's raining and I can't be bothered to walk. :o:o

Have a pleasant evening and weekend, all - I probably won't be on the forum for the next couple of days as my DSis is visiting. Fingers crossed it goes well!
Back after a very long break!

Evening all. Am feeling somewhat less than par today. Just ones of those things. It's difficult to find the pleasures, but will try:

    1. Only bought the few items on my list.
    2. Am still within Grocery Challenge budget.
    3. Went to visit my family and spent a couple of hours with them.
    4. Day 5 of no Coke or Chocolate.
    5. Tomorrow is Friday.

Hope all those under the weather feel better soon, and (((hugs))) to Mhagster. Thinking of you, hon.

    K xx

Sorry to hear your OH feels rough, Hags. :-(

Here are my 5 for today.

    1) Not a bad sleep.

    2) More "new" t shirts came from EBay for sons.

    3) Cleaned out the fridge/freezer. Only some coffee left in the freezer now and it has all been washed out thoroughly.

    4) A day of cooking and eating stuff from the freezer! Bigger son had nettle soup in his flask for school lunch. I had what might have been chicken and vegetable (random bag from freezer). Then we used up the frozen prawns and peppers on a pizza base plus frozen garlic bread. Frozen fruit went into a random "red" crumble then some smoothies.

Oh, and I made 5 portions of soup as well!

    5) About to watch the football with smaller son.

Evening! Big hugs to those who need them.

    My 5 for today:

    1) Had my hair cut. Not the cheapest, but always looks good when I've been and for quite a few weeks afterwards!

    2) Checked my Avois points and I have enough for 3 flights to Europe. Where to go.... LOL!

    3) Checked my Nectar account and I have just over £33 worth. Again, what to spend it on?!

    4) More reports for children written. Just loads more to go...

    5) Latest Rosemary Conley diet & fitness mag arrived today. Loads of lovely recipes, but I really must cancel my subscription.

Have a good evening everyone!
