    Goodness knows, RAS.

He is being assessed by CASBAT again (for autism) so had the child psych yesterday and the paediatrician will see him in a couple of weeks. Not sure who else he will have to see this time round.

Exclusions officer seeing me on Friday so I will point out he has missed 4 weeks of afternoons and 5 weeks of lunchtimes...

    Evening everyone!

My 5 for the day/past few days

    1) Just coming to the end of my 10 week "Introduction to Running" course, which has been run for free by a local running club. When we started, I was barely able to run for 1 min and now I'm up to about 12 mins! Really pleased with myself. :j

    2) Meal planned a little more than normal.

    3) Completed an online survey and I'm nearly up to being about to get a John Lewis voucher for £50! (which will go towards something for the bathroom...)

    4) Wallowing in the glory of having donated some books to my parents' church garden fete book stall!

    5) Paid my credit card bill!

    See you all tomorrow.

Thoughts to all those poorly. Chocolate... I had some Latvian chocolate whilst it was still part of the Soviet Union. It was less than pleasant, shall we say. These days Latvian confectionery has quite a good reputation.

CCP, a toe infection can be pure hell, same as a finger infection, there are so many nerve endings in those areas. Sympathies. I used to suffer but since I started moisturising my feet daily I've had no problems. I think it's the extra attention that helps, I spot problems before they start.

    Mine.
    1. My Monica Edwards Punchbowl Companion arrived. It is a wonderful guide to the stories, and I now know which of the Punchbowl tales are available in republished full editions. Having only ever read abridged versions I can't wait.. What's that? Kids' books? Pfrt. The fact that a guide written for adults has been published tells you volumes...

    2. Royal Ascot, including red button coverage.

    3. OK not OS but I now have two windows replaced and will be able to open a window in the dining room for the first time in 20 years. It was very low on the list of priorities for repairs.

    4. New little low cost treats from Avon arrived and a freebie of a mini football (for DGD/DGS)

    5. I hopefully have a night out to look forward to next weekend, following an enjoyable night out last night.

    6. Reading your pleasures.
Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.

VJsmum- please let me know if you find any trendy/posh shoes for your DD , my niece has size 10 feet and at 15 years she is not so keen on wearing her Dads steel toe capped work boots everywhere!

Found some in Debenhams. They are actually wedding shoes but look lovely and we found matching jewellery. The only shop for size 10 i have found is Brantano - and they are a bit "grannyish". Honestly how many grannies have size 10 feet. I have found some websites for big footed girls - one of them is for transgender and transexuals!

    5) Bigger son had his hair cut. That's 10 inches off this year. It's now only collar length. Still plenty of it.

Enjoy your graduation - ours isn't until February, which is actually rather nice after a break. Hope your "honorary" isn't too dull - the best we had was Tim Smit from the Eden Project. He could have worn clean jeans though!

    5 for yesterday

1 More shopping with DD - prom shoes (under £20 though) and some lovely jewellery also in a sale
    2. Exam board at other University - went OK.
    3. Night out with the girls - curry and wine for a fiver
    4. Finished this round of house cleaning - except for the office which is a nightmare
    5. OH bought new chairs for the kitchen - lovely.

    Have a good day, all
I wanna be in the room where it happens
