5 Got a right good going over gov'ner.
4 Cannot go forth on pusdhbike just yet. Sonny wants to but body says no.
3 Pi..ed of Nebby Neb neighbour last night. He was useless at work, took always an age to get a decision, etc, people always by passed him and when it was time for a clearout, off he went./ Harsh I know, but always wanted things on the cheap like, his trait at work is teh same at home. Round here we call it GerryBuilt.
Comes round yesterday and Nebs, but me I am used to it, went on about how he undid his BT box and installed himself three main boxes, or whatever they are called (me NFI really!!!!). Says I now have the fastest interent round here and I must jooin in his scheme, you know, I will sort out yours for you!! What speed I enquired? 4 MB he says. Fall, I nearly collasped again. And the laughiung does booty hurt!. 4Mb and you did all rthat. Up withj speed tester and back came 11 MB, nearly 3 times faster. Then he proved his worth, with his usual fakes. The problem is he gooses people intoi thinking he is an expert with everythin when in fact he is a fake, sorry a F Fake. Everything he does is fake. He builds PC and sells them for just short of what my mate Jamie does, and install illegal copies of MS Windows (he is about £25 cheaper than Jamie) Then Jamie has to fix these, and of course he would lose his licence to be a installer because of this prat.
Rant Over and names not changed. If you do not believe me, then ask Jamie!
2 Crumpet, Cocoa and Bed for me
1 Look after it.
Oh, and for thoise going on Holiday, keep of the wine, and on the wobbleade. It will keep you right.I hvae nt snept th lst fw mntes writg ths post fr yu t cme alng hre nd agre wth m!

LMan plans and God laughs...Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry. But by demonstrating that all people cry, laugh, eat, worry and die, it introduces the idea that if we try to understand each other, we may even become friends.0 -

Had some happy news later yesterday evening, a friend and her hubby have just been matched with a baby they are going to adopt0

Morning all - definitely Bagpu$$y today (take that! Swear filter!!:D)
What a night! Been to see the magnificent Coldplay (definitely not MSE), loads of things to moan about (not letting us take in a couple of sandwiches or some drink so we had to queue for ages to pay a fortune for pepsi and sausage and chips, car parking was a bit of a nightmare and then some roads had shut on the drive home - didn't get in till after 1 and DS is having a couple of hours off school this morning, he'd be fit for nothing anyway)
So for yesterday
1. Wondrous, amazing Coldplay. I'm a huge fan and they deserve all the accolades they get. Worth every bit of the hassle and the cost.
2. We were at the back and could look out over the sea of people singing and waving their arms (complete with multi coloured light up wristbands they'd given out). Was magical
3. Agreeing marks with colleagues regarding dissertation marking. If the 2 markers are more than 10% apart then you have to send to a 3rd marker. SO far we've all been in agreement - except one which was 95% v 78% but we agreed on 80 something.
4. The bird that had a damaged wing and was trapped in our garden managed to get itself out.
5. Working from home
Sorry for your news, Kittikins and Mhagster - hope you feel better
I feel like I have lead weights attached to arms, legs and head and will need bucket loads of coffee to get me through the day. School not happy that DS is going in late - but what's to do? I thought it was half term when I booked the concert and we couldn't predict road closures. He will be more productive going in at 11.
Now, coffee..I wanna be in the room where it happens0 -
VJsmum - Glad to hear you enjoyed the concert we looked at it but as was in the middle of DD's exams decided to give it a miss but very jealous
Kittikins - So sorry to hear about your friend passing away but excellent news about your other friends adoption.
Mhagster - Hope you are feeling better soon and make sure you are looking after yourself0 -
Kittkins:- So sorry to hear your news, but also happy to hear your friends other news.
DH and I are off in the “caravan of love” for the Jubilee weekend to a steam show, it was all paid for back in 2011 so while we will have a takeaway, other than that costs will be kept down. We talked about turning it into a week away and then we realised there would be more diesel, more trips to MIL, I love her dearly but it can cost a bit in fuel, and as we have no income I would rather spend the time looking for jobs, and DH says he wants to get on with bits around the house apparently, (I suspect he maybe just making me feel better doh).
For yesterday
1.Packing for the weekend - have I mentioned I love that van!
2.The food we are taking is all 10p goodies, (I try to avoid the shops in the half term, so I guess it saves us too),
3.Did a tip run with a pile of stuff, a nice feeling, and I am sure another tip run won’t be far behind with the rate we are clearing stuff out.
4.Filled in a lot of job applications, a pleasure to try, would be even more of a pleasure to get one.
5. Loving the splashes of colour the flowers and butterflies are giving.
6. Re-familiarised myself with the vouchers and freebies forum area, applied for a survey and a free senior cat food trial.
7. We went to a completely impromptu family get together at MIL and it was nice once it got going, I have to relax as I don’t really like crowds didn’t get back until 2.30am.
