    Hello smoosh, cute name :)

    My weekend of delights.....

    1. Made a new chum at church this morning, we got chatting and thought we recognised each other, turns out our DDs go to the same Brownies group!

    2. The sunshine :)

    3. DD and I camped overnight..........in the back garden :) She was so excited and happy in the tent, despite it being rather uncomfortable under our bodies. We had our nice bedding as we don't have sleeping bags, so it was quite luxurious in some respects! I've only had the tent in the shed for about 4 years and it was the first time out of the bag! But NO, I am not sleeping in it tonight!

    4. The NHS for giving me nice painkillers to help me cope with the after-effects of camping ;)

    5. OH, DD and I had deelish pizza (his was gluten and dairy free :) ) on the beach down in Brighton for dinner last night

    6. Packing for our holiday this week :)

    7. The breeze yesterday which was very welcome in the heat

    8. Read a fabulous book, the Night Circus, I can highly recommend it :) and it was a library book, so freeeeeeeee

    9. Lots of cuddles with DD and OH over the weekend

    10. Feeling very relaxed and happy :)

    remembered more

    11. DD and I went for a picnic in the park and to a funfair today, bumping into lovely chums and having a good chinwag.

    12. DD won a big ball at the fair which later on got stuck in a big hedge. A lovely man nearby whose toddler son was distressed at seeing ball stuck climbed up a bit of a fence and poked it with a stick and no, it didn't burst, it came bouncing down to us. What a nice chap :)

    Welcome smoosh

Mhags sorry to be another to mention it but we've no need for driers here :D. Weather forecast isn't as good for the rest of the week but I'm so enjoying what we have today

Thanks for that CCP, I'm a reggae fan and love any memories of my all too brief time on the island. I've been back many times and never lose that 'going home' feeling. DS was born in Chichester, but I think I might have mentioned that before. (just tell me if I'm getting repetitive, it's an age thing ;)). Hope you get your concerns re the tutor sorted out soon. Btw your #9 sounds delicious!

More memories from VJsmum. We were at Littlehampton for quite a few years and got to know T'Witterings well. Have fun next weekend in the van, hope it's as sunny as it is now.

Oh dear Sonny, sorry but I did chuckle at the mog story. Hope his/her nerves have recovered now :)

    1. All the windows opened to let the sunshine in by 7am.

    2. Had a cool shower and took my breakfast, and the pets morning biscuits, outside. I'm not sure they realised why but they humoured me anyway by eating them in the garden :D

    3. Searching for a certain pair of sandals I had to take all my shoes out from the floor of the wardrobe. I won't say how many there are but it's not far off my age . However they're now all paired tidily waiting for me to get some clear bags to put the in (in the meantime no doubt they'll end up in a heap again)

    4. Lovely meeting with friends at lunchtime, too nice to be indoors so we sat on the lawn outside the venue.

    5. Got home mid afternoon and planted out some more bedding plants, put in the runners and tomatoes, and planted marigolds next to them in the grow bags. Hopefully that will deter the mogs, they've been using the unopened grow bags as sun loungers til now :D

    Sweet dreams :)
  • And finally just checked Facebuck and seems the sun has got to most people. Funny, but pictures of your table outside are not amusing, nor the empty glasses. Put the phone down dear, you will regret it in the morning.

As for my cousin John, I am afraid your picture is now going round everyone, but I did not pass it on, I defriended you instead. Next time, please check your sobriety level before posting. You cannot take down later what others have copied.

Always watch your ways, in case you may err. Keep your mouth shut as if it is tied by rope.
I hvae nt snept th lst fw mntes writg ths post fr yu t cme alng hre nd agre wth m!

    Cheers! :beer::beer::beer::beer::beer:

Sonny - wise words....I'm on the book of faces, but I only occasionally comment on other people's postings and never make any of my own, my life is mine, and some friends really don't know what to keep private!

Ditto Kittikins, I'm also more a reader than a poster on that site, I wouldn't bother at all if it weren't for a closed group I belong to that is relevant to my situation. My DNeighbour's DD, 13, gets cross because her mother won't let her join it. After some of the things posted in peoples gardens these past few days I should think not!

Well hello from cool and damp Melbourne ! You are welcome to the sunshine, I have more than enough in our summer that it's nice to be a bit cooler. I like getting to wear long jeans, socks and a long sleeved top for a change!

1.work.....another mad, mad day day however another days wages earned!

2.picked up ds on way home from work, he was at a study afternoon at a school near my work. Had a nice chat with him on way home. He is in his final year at school and it's a very different system to back home.

    3. Home and the washing was done :), my tea was made:) and I have just sat on my backside, read my book, played on iPad and watched master chef!

4.OH had a goody box sent from our friends in Sydney , full of nice Molten Brown toiletries , magazines and sweeties.....shame he can't eat sweets!

5.DD 1 has been accepted to go to snow camp and DD 2 is going to music camp. This time last year we just could not afford it, so I'm glad I'm working full time and able to save up for these trips.

Have a lovely sunny day, may it make you all smile :)

Kittkins:- great to hear that book is good, it's been on my amazon wish list for ages, but I will check out the local library now... thanks:)

Can't stand facebook, but even the MIL is on there, I haven't made any comments since ohhh err January, and DH deleted his account.

    Hmmm 5 pleasures for today.

    1.It’s another beautiful day.
2.DH is servicing the new to us, 2nd hand car himself, very talented and very MSE:money:
3.I vaxed a rug we have been given, which was clean away but can't hurt :o

    4. I threw out and chopped in the garden the carpet that has been here since I bought the house 10 years ago. Yes it leaves us with no replacement but we agreed floorboards is better than the carpet, we tried to save repeatedly.:rotfl::o
    5. Off this evening to pick up yesterdays eBay win.
    6. Dinner will be a pasta bake using up anything and everything that’s due to go out of date but named a “Pasta Surprise”:rotfl:

Ha see this is why I love this thread, today has been naff, but it bought a smile to my face writing the pro’s down!

    Good afternoon all!

    5 for today

    1. Day went quickly as spent half of it in the office and half on a site visit.

    2. Site visit was undertaken to check on the progress of an action plan that I had written for the company. On the off chance I observed an issue of extreme poor practice which I needed to raise an official concern about . Not a pleasure , but this is for the greater good of others iyswim?

3.Out on visits for the next few days which I prefer .

4.Young hens were patiently sitting on the back door mat when I got home .

    5. Looking forward to an early night as I seem to have turned into Bagpuss.

    Have a good evening all!
:AToo fat to be Felicity Kendal , but aim for a bit more of the good life :A

I just love the image it creates on your number 4.:)

And number 5, I reckon it must be this weather sapping all energy.
