5 for today so far (Wednesday)

    1) Waking up with OH. :-)

    2) Meeting up for a cup of tea with my friend in town.

    3) Buying a pair of very reduced shoes for wearing in the river.

    4) A quiet Sainsburys shop by myself and bought various bits for when I go on holiday with OH on Sunday. :-D

    5) Collected smaller son from school at lunchtime. All his year have gone on a 3 day adventure trip but they would not taken him because they can't manage his behaviour. :-( So they put him in year 3 this morning. Met the year 3 teacher and she said he was marvellous, great all morning and had written a Powerpoint presentation! It has been well over a month since ANYONE at that school said something nice about him, I felt like bursting into tears!

    6) Went to mum and dad's and son and I cleaned the car out (disgusting) and washed it.

    7) Sorted out the garden, hosed the patio down, swept up ready for later.

    8) Plans for later include a BBQ in the tidied garden then a stint of wading in the river, all wearing new river shoes. :-)

Chicken - yummy Chris indeed. He was on fine form - even yummy Guy but he doesn't speak :p

    Sonny - wise words

OT - Love the Archers - about to listen to it myself whilst I clean kitchen. 2 to "Listen again" to. Stupid Amy.

I'll try to find 5 - not quite one for every hour of sleep I had

    1. Exchanging "wasn't the concert great" tweets with a fellow attendee
    2. Starting the marking of exam papers - we will gloss over the 4 identical papers  For the plagiarism / cheating committee I think

    4. YS chicken and asparagus wrap thingy for tea - yum
    5. Watching TOTP 2 with OH - I think it was novelty act night (Nice legs shame about the face, funky gibbon, I'm too sexy) - funny though.

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
    Evening all.

A quick post from me as I'm feeling very smiley-sleep005.gif after a few wobbleades and a curry with my DPs.

    1) A lie-in this morning, but I still managed to wake up half an hour before the alarm I'd set.

    2) Two extra pairs of hands have made a major difference to the garden - all I need to do now is keep it looking this tidy. :o

    3) Received my latest AF order. :) I'm a bit miffed that several items are damaged and I can't get hold of anyone to discuss it with, though - I kept reassuring my DM that usually they're a great company, but I'm not sure she believed me.

    4) Scrummy curry at a new restaurant, which my DF kindly paid for. :A

    5) I'm now going to curl up with a book and some music until I can justify going to bed. smiley-sleep012.gif

    Have a good evening, all.
Back after a very long break!

    Evening all,

Frith - glad C's "new" teacher has been positive... Long may it last.

    1) Boss called me into his office to tell me about all the good feedback he had received about me at a meeting yesterday with the other departmental directors. Nine months ago at a similar meeting one or two of them had been slightly negative... So I am glad that they are happier with my performance. There was talk of a secondment which would be exciting! I have to present at their next meeting next month so I have to wow them to cement the secondment.

    2) Been in a really good mood all day

    3) Car was serviced today for free (I negotiated cover when I bought it last year) and it came back clean!! Its the first time its been properly cleaned in 9 months

    4) NSD

    5) Long day in the office - 8am-8pm... But got LOADS done!

    Night night

Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry. But by demonstrating that all people cry, laugh, eat, worry and die, it introduces the idea that if we try to understand each other, we may even become friends.

Chicken, thought you'd like it :D erm not sure which one you mean your way, is it the one at the showground? :)

And ref strawberries, I would love to gmo but don't think they would get a chance to last long at all :)

    1. Wow a seriously busy day, I re mowed the lawn as the previous mow was to make it recover it looks a lot better now.
    2. Did lots of “bits and pieces” to just tidy the garden up a little.
    3. 3 loads of washing done and put away.
    4. Continuing de-cluttering, I have created another bag of rubbish and recycling, and DH is doing well also de-cluttering the garage, I’m starting to find it a bit hard now, but can see a few results like errr floor space:o:o, and it’s not tidy yet so determined to get there.
    5. We just popped out and were lucky again for some half price and 10p bargins, should have enough not to shop for a fortnight, other than for milk.:p
  • 1) I cooked up some red lentils 250g which is now in 4 half cup portions in the Freezer, give or take.
    2) I had a very productive hour with the Supported Housing Manager doing housework which was very overdue despite of not having digested my scrambled egg on toast properly. The scrambled egg came about because my originally intended Fried Egg broke meaning scrambled it was.
    3) I got organic delivery in today, 3 x meat and veg.
    4) I lugged shopping home from a top up trip to Tesco on my shopping trolley meaning I had my exercise today!
    5) I got some reductions in Tesco on Fish (plaice fillets and breaded cod) which mean I can test out HFW ideas for baked fish and homemade chips.
