Afternoon, hugs to all that need one
    1. Working from home so i can look after my nephew who has shingles (not so much a pleasure but it meant my sister didnt have to take a day off work)
    2. Being at home anyway when school phoned to say my youngest was sick and needed picking up.
    3. Having taken tea out of the freezer, so that will be quick and easy tonight.
    4. Listening to two 11 year olds who despite being ill????? have a small argument over who had drank more pepsi that the other one.
    5. Trying to work out if i can escape from the house this evening for a quick walk. Youngest child does seem to be quite perky.

just have to add, my sister dropped off pain killers and calamine lotion for nephew. He asked me later if i could dab on some of his water cream. That has stuck with me now. Water cream!!!

    Enjoy your day all.

    Man plans and God laughs...
Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry. But by demonstrating that all people cry, laugh, eat, worry and die, it introduces the idea that if we try to understand each other, we may even become friends.

  • 1 Back in work, but four hours. Good to see them keep the Desing Reviews til I come in. Off tomorrow, but same on Thursday. Got stamp out and signed things off so rest of team can continue to the next big reviews. Glad my underling is hold fort to good, but as for the other idiot who went randy rage etc. sorry, but you were not asked to do my job these last three months. Illy really, he has got a bad name one and I think he is going not me in the slow down later this year.

2 Back home to cat. Illy thing he missed me today, got choppy, brought in the chicken pieces as a piece offering. Silly cat, he just gets the biscuit. Two forks for him and lap, wobbleade and all.

3 Nieces coming up for weekend. That should knacker me again. Elder has got a bike. Think I am off to the ship with her, that should knacker her, get me a wobbleade and she can lead me on.

4 Just got in, lovely tea, mushroom pooles, with black bean sauce and chillis. Well warmed now

5 just watching John Lydon on Sky Arts. Excellent, talking about being individual, there is only one like you, you are unique. Talks about following a fashion, the shistymn!!!. We all have potential of our own, then why do we go out of our way to copy someone else. If you do that, you are not being you, but a charade of someone else. Well said John, the same was true in the winter gardens in Cleethorpes in 1976. We have too many sheeple in this country, followers of others, but no individuals. We are too pigeon holed, square pegs for square holes. Always looking for Mr or Mrs perfect to come in and take that job we have a vacancy for, but are too afraid to employ because we fear they are not like use. Of course I am not like you, if I was, you would just be a cheapl clone of me.

Now for some refreshing wobbleade and the Sex Pistols I think. She was a girl from Birminham ...
