OT - I can picture you in your cosy caravan . I bet you can't wait to get in there ! Glad the horses are coming on nicely!
lally....I wouldn't have asked Phil. S. for just his autograph... .;)
5 for today
1. Site visit at 7.30 am ,the staff said that they were still scared of me , as the manager had been winding them up again.Again spent a lot of time trying to reassure them .
2.Finished at 3pm as worked through my lunch break.
3. Receiving a belated birthday card from my sister - laughed at what she had written inside. She has epilepsy and is on so much medication it makes her a tad forgetful, she mentioned this in her card.
4.New hens getting very friendly .
5. Bottom of the fridge stir fry for tea.
Have a good evening all!:AToo fat to be Felicity Kendal , but aim for a bit more of the good life :A0 -

5 for today
1. Driving into work with OH, we never travel together so t'was nice to have a chat (even tho I wasn't required to invigilate after all and I'd had to make arrangements to get in early )
2. Finished my big batch of assignment marking (tho got another batch of something else)
3. Having a laugh with colleague, like loons we were, but can't for the life of me remember what it was about!
4. Out with the girls tonight on a "fiver for a curry and wine" night at the local pub
5. Day off tomorrow :j Going in to school to watch DD's GCSE drama performance piece - wish her luck. Drama is what she wants to do, so it is important for her to do well.
Have a good evening allI wanna be in the room where it happens0 -
Good luck Miss VJsmum, break a leg and don't mention the Scottish play by name and all that

5. Took out some great library books and am nearly half way through the first one already
6. Looking forward to curling up under the duvet and reading some more in a moment0 -

1. Even though it rained for most of today it was a pleasure to look out at the garden and see it trimmed and tidy for a change
2. Found a pack of liver in the freezer so I can make a liver and bacon casserole (when I buy some bacon)
3. Postie brought me the Union Jack cake cases I ordered yesterday morning, what super service :T
4. Some tree fellers were pruning the trees in the square, I hoped they weren't cutting any down but they just tidied them up. Phew, what a relief, the beautiful flowering cherry opposite my front windows is still intact
5. Have booked a birthday treat out for some friends in July, one of them is exactly one week older than me (so she's a year older for that week and I tease her mercilessly). It's a group0n offer to a race track three miles away with a burger supper included which should be fun, though I never thought I was going to the dogs at my age :rotfl:
Sweet dreams0 -
Fingers crossed for VJM's DD... will collect pleasures and post later today, but didn't want to miss the chance to say good luck.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0

VJsmums DD -good luck
OT - new hens are 16 weeks old -and are scared of the sky, birds and just about everything else really. They are very friendly , one is a bluey grey and the other is white with some black feathers on her neck . They have been out for a mooch in the garden and like sitting on OH's massive up turned saucepan that he cooks lobster in .....just another normal day at the funny farm..:D:AToo fat to be Felicity Kendal , but aim for a bit more of the good life :A0 -
VJsmum - Good luck for your DD
Pleasures for yesterday-
1. RTC chicken and pasta salad for lunch
2. Final booklet for Moonwalk arrived so I can now see the route, scary
3. OH has finished decorating my bra, even scarier
4. DD having a decent nights sleep. She has a cold and has been coughing through the night but a friend told me to rub vapour rub on the soles of her feet, I thought this sounded like tosh, but gave it a go and it worked no coughing all night:T
5. Nice chat with Dad on the phone, makes a change to get to chat with him as her normally passes the phone to mum.
6. Spoke to SKY on the phone about cancelling my contract (wasn't going to really) and got a free sky+ box and a 25% reductiuon for a year :money:, very happy with that
Hugs to all who need them or just want one0
