hello from stormsville!
1.good day at work, did 2 extra hours.
2.bond (deposit) paid back into savings account, solvent once again! I am not a saver by nature but liked to know that we had at least 1 airfare to UK in account in case of family emergency back home. So that's back in
3.Phone call from my husband to tell me there was a storm warning for our area, just got back to car in time before downpour started. I don't like driving in a storm , visibility was poor but just took my time & got home in one piece! It has rumbled on for a few hours now....hopefully will clear the air & of course is good for garden............did spare a thought for the people who took over lease in old house.....hope they had nothing valuable in the garage....will be wet by now!
4.Made very yummy macaroni for tea, was most delicious , had to use a mix of cheese (of a cheddary nature) and parmesan.
5.Pleasure still to come, going out to a friends house tonight, which will be nice to have a catch up.0 -
Morning All,
Actual 5 from Yesterday:
1) Listed lots on auction website = more space + cash to pay off debts (hopefully)
2) Meal planned for next 2 weeks and feel in control of food budget
3) Listened to music put on my phone (been waiting for ages)
4) Had a nice walk last night even if it was a bit cold
5) Done more on Work Project without feeling stressed
My 5 for Today:
1) Withdraw £20 for rest of week (first cash withdrawal this week!)
2) Enjoy a possible 4 hour trip later (walking to save bus fairs)
3) Finish listing on auction site
4) Listen to free music on internet radio
5) Watch fave TV (freeview) programmes this evening
Have a good day everyone0 -
My five for yesterday are
1. Walk with a neighbour - good to catch up and have a chat as we tend not to talk as much in the winter as no seeing each other in the gardens.
2. Using up liver from the freezre for DH tea as I wasn't hungry and DS2 away.
3. Long chat on (free) phonecall to a friend.
4. Made banana bread.
5. A NSD/NPD
6. Reading more of my book.0 -

Thanks tealady (a lady after my own heart from the sound of your name):coffee:. I don't drive, so perhaps should have NBDs (no bus day) :rotfl:. Since last month when every penny is accounted for I have several times walked instead of taking the bus :TMrsSD declutter medals 2023 🏅🏅🏅⭐⭐ 2025
