    yesterday and today:

    1. Yesterday was a NSD

    2. My back is feeling much better, now just a bit sore to drive, hoorah! :)

    3. Had a horrible headache yesterday that DD helped me try to get rid of by giving me lots of cuddles

    4. Good day at work -but bad day vis a vis the house transaction, my financial advisor has mucked up and it may take a little while to fix, but it is fixable, phew!

    5. I now have the contracts for both parts of the house transaction, yay :)

    6. Saw OH both yesterday and today *swoon :):):)

    7. DD had a great dance class and looks fantastic

    8. The flowers she bought me last weekend are looking gorgeous, almost all of them have come out now :)

    9. I saw my lovely acupuncturist this afternoon who has helped me more with my ankle (it feels fantastic!), my back (ditto) and my head (nearly). She's such a sweetie

    10. Lovely chat with my mum on the phone

    11. Resisted spending loads of money when in the supermarket, and bought the bare minimum as I really have got to work my way through the freezer before we move!

    12. Making some plans for half term, whilst DD is away :( but :) as I can go out and spend time alone with OH, I'm sure it'll fly by.....most of the time!

    13. Looking forward to baked potatoes for dinner, nomnomnom.

    14. Friend is popping over for a glass of wine shortly, well the sun is nearly over the yardarm!

    1. We’ve booked a mini local break away over Easter, it’s about 16 miles away with walks to the coast and a river, at a basic small campsite which also means we aren’t paying for the amenities I’m really looking forward to it.

    2. I am actually looking forward to getting back to work, as I have been off all week poorly, feeling a lot better and it’s novel looking forward to it, I just hope they are ok with me having to be off, I will soon find out!

    3. Had to make emergency vet trip today, we are now lighter £170, but the little critter who never kisses actually gave me a kiss as she was recovering, bless her.

    4. Cooking toad in the hole tonight.

    5. I have a shiney new phone, that is a phone, no offense to any iphone users out there but I just don’t get on with them, I want a phone to be a phone, I have been using 2nd hand phones for about 5 years now, and my OH ordered me up a nice large screen LGA250, it’s lovely, and a lovely deep purple colour to. It feels very extravagant, we are on a very cheap £10 per month contract so bought the phone outright for £45.

    hello heres my 24 hours
1, my approved food order arrived i am really impressed with them. Packed most of it under our bed ( no where else is safe from small boys having a search through)
2, 5 jars of pickled cabbage from the hlaf red cabbage in the veg box
3 , 8 avocados in the fruit box - this made me laugh i had to phone my dad to find out how many they'd got. i won they only had 5.
4, mum has booked us a table top sale for next saturday £6 between the 2 of us.
5, used up breadcrumbs to make apple crumble ( now we have custard thanks to food order)
    bek - keep warm everyone.

  • Good evening all !

ampersand - what an amazing encounter ! How lovely that you were able to connect with this Lady and were able to share so much without having to explain anything.

PK - it is nice to hear you having things to look forward to, like your mini break at Easter . I am sorry that one of your critters has been poorly.

    millie - ((hugs))

    5 for today

    1. Cut OH's hair this morning as he had an interview this afternoon. It looks quite smart . All those years of clipping horses has paid off ;)

    2. The washing that I put on the line at 11am was dry by 3pm - in ffffffreezing February .

3.Had a bit of a self indulgent afternoon watching Build a New Life in the Country , Escape to the Country, Country House Rescue.....can you see a bit of a theme going on here:rotfl:

4.OH said that he feels that his interview went well, so fingers crossed.

    5. OH has just cooked a simple supper of fish fingers and chips and errr.. prawn crackers :rotfl:

Have a good evening all !

    Evening ladies,

I am feeling sorry for myself after coming down with a hacking cough in the last 24 hours. I feel rubbish and came home from work just after lunch.

    1) Being lucky enough to have a job where I have the flexibility to leave when I want to

    2) Ordered my new alloys for my car. Fingers crossed they are the right ones otherwise it will be a extremely expensive mistake!!

    3) My friend L calling me to make sure I was feeling better this evening

    4) Lovely pastries at the meeting I was at this morning

    night night

Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry. But by demonstrating that all people cry, laugh, eat, worry and die, it introduces the idea that if we try to understand each other, we may even become friends.
