Millie - Poor GSD. :) Get well now!

Broomstick - I have to confess that I get a graze box every week. I get mine at the old price as I've been a customer for so long (£2.99 as opposed to the £3.79 they charge now) - it's still a bit of a treat, but I reckon it's not much different to buying myself a bag of crisps or something every day, and definitely healthier.

(Expect to see me on here a lot today - I'm writing an essay and I'm not exactly finding it easy going. :o)
Back after a very long break!

Millie - sending good vibes yours and GSD's way x

    Yesterday's:

    1. Me and OH went out for Friday lunch. Not very OS I know, but we try and get out every Friday for lunch - it gets us both out the house as we both work from home

    2. Beautiful day! So sunny, gorgeous, frosty - not a cloud in the sky.

    3. Watched the hedge sparrows chase the fat robin away from the fatballs in the garden. I love the robin but he can be a little bully!

    4. OH was out last night so had the evening to myself :)

    5. Tesco vouchers arrived in the post, and spent some time buying rewards online rather than just spending them instore. Bought vouchers for Ask and Prezzo (I think :) ), cinema tickets, magazine subscription and Brand Alley vouchers

Afternoon, everyone. Thought I'd post my pleasures early today as I don't know what's going to happen tonight. I'm hoping it'll be a nice quiet one but you never know, with this snow. Here goes:

    1. Had to drive Mr Kitchenbunny somewhere this morning and managed to make the journey without getting lost (a big deal for me!).
    2. I put a gammon shank in the slow cooker and it's cooling now. They've gone up to £1.99 from Mr M. Does anyone know where I can get them any cheaper?
    3. I woke up early and feel like I've got a lot done. All the ironing, cleared up a bit, worked the washing machine myself (I know... but Mr Kitchenbunny normally does the washing, hoovering and dusting, and I take care of the ironing, cooking and occasional hoovering, as well as cleaning the kitchen) It's a big deal for me :)
    4. I saw 2 magpies feeding 2 chicks on my lawn. :)
    5. Am warm and cosy.

Well! Now I know to have a window open when descaling a steam iron using vinegar :p Wow, the place smelled like a chip shop! It seems to have done the job though so that's the main thing. I've lit a candle and put it under the oil burner with a little coconut essential oil and the air smells lovely. I am feeling tired now though so might have a little kip. Tomorrow will be my day for resting! Have a lovely evening, everyone. Stay safe and keep warm!

    Evening Ladies,

Hope you are all wrapped up warm.

Frith - I was also a little late with my car tax which arrived yesterday. i must remember to take it out and stick it in the car.

I will probably be on there a little less in the future because tapping out my posts and trying to read everyone's pleasures on my BBerry has been driving me scatty.

My car is being very expensive (though not quite expensive as my old one - this time last year I was spending a fortune on it). I must have hit a couple of pot holes recently as I now need at least one new wheel... £600!!! EEK!!! And because my car is really unusual, though it is a VW it is unlikely that I will get it from a scrap yard or anything. I really don't understand why people like alloys!

    1) NSD despite the trip to the garage

    2) Spoke to my DB1 at lunch time to see if his FIL may like to take a wall out of my flat to make the kitchen a little bigger. Turns out the poor man has cracked some ribs but falling off a ladder so won't be able to help me for a little while.

    3) Lots of warm furry cuddles with my darling kit-cat.

    4) Will make some scones a little later on as I have some sour milk so use up

    5) Lots of good rugby on TV

    night night

Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry. But by demonstrating that all people cry, laugh, eat, worry and die, it introduces the idea that if we try to understand each other, we may even become friends.

    Evening

Get well now GSD and hugs to millie

Pleasures for the last couple of days,

    Friday
    1. Sneaky Bacon baguette for breakfast shared with DD
    2. Giggling at a very condescending email sent out at work as the person who sent it likes to use big words but usually in the wrong context and had done so again. Mean I know but she was so patronising it took the sting out
    3. Nice chat with my mum on the phone. Feels like I have her back again for now, she suffers with depression and has been off lately but is in a much better place just now :j
    4. Fake away fish and chips for dinner and very nice they were to.
    5. In the sort out found a bottle of lemon liqueur so we had a cheeky little glass. Think it might be nice drizzled over ice-cream

    Today's pleasures
    1. Up early and weekly food shop done. Came in £1 under budget thanks to a £5 off voucher. Need to try and not buy anything else food wise for more than £1 for the rest of the week.:money:
    2. Cooked a big breakfast when got back from shopping for everyone which was yummy
    3. OH bought me a hot chocolate with marshmallows when we popped out to the golf shop.
    4. Tesco vouchers in post so will check out what deals I want to use them on for a family treat. Think it may be the London Walking Tours as quite interested in doing the Jack the Ripper walk, I know I'm strange but think it will be interesting
    5. Sticking to my meal plan for the week again and having my favourite dinner tonight of crispy chilli chicken with cashew nut rice, yum
