Can I pop in for a while?

    1) Cat snoring on my nice clean bed
    2) smell of fresh bread cokking
    3) smell of fresh sheets on the bed
    4) book and coffee waiting once I have finished the washing
    5) peace and quiet
Proud to be dealing with my debt:eek:

TOTAL: £6,437 (04/01/2013) slowly but surely it is decreasing:D

Catspaw, don't pop in for a while, stay :) There are some lovely people here :) (quite a few of whom are cat lovers, so you would definitely be at home)

mhagster - Happy New Home :D

CCP - How rude of the tesco person  and well done for complaining, I'd have done the same- too many people tut about things but don't act upon them and even if you don't get a reply, your complaint will still have been heard by someone :A
Found a red envelope with €25 in from my last holiday. Will come in handy for Italy :)

I love it when that happens. It doesn't happen very often, but I found £10 in an old handbag the other day...ok I spent it on chicken for diva dog, but even so..... :rotfl:

ampersand - chaussures pour les chevaux are almost as expensive as Irregular Choice. I occasionally dream about all the lovely shoes I could afford if I didn't have them...but I wouldn't be half as happy. I might have to save up for some IC though :)

Vicky - you sound like a lovely friend

And thank you everybody for being so lovely and thank you oldtractor for understanding. I can't believe that my "youngster" is 9 this time, but it doesn't seem like 5 minutes ago that we were doing groundwork with her, ready for backing. She was an easy youngster, it wasn't until she was 4ish that she had an attack of the Kevins. Yes Chicken, oldie does like to do the odd strip, bless her :D

Still feeling a bit meh today, not helped by falling out with a lovely friend as she said something insensitive (she often does, it's just her), I bit back (I usually brush it off), then whilst trying to install a facebook app on my ipad, I deleted my profile (technophobe), so I got a stroppy text saying there was no need to delete her from my friends list. I actually :rotfl:at this point (whilst trying to explain the above to her) as she takes fb far too seriously.

I haven't acheived anything much today, apart from mucking out and sorting the rest of the animals. So I might just write the day off as a lazy day and start again tomorrow :)

Hugs to anyone in need xx

Catspaw, your 5 for the day sound fantastic, do stay around the posts on here are such great mood lifters through good and bad days.:)

Milllie I have a friend like that, they are “hard work”

CCP: I know exactly how you feel about Tesco we put in an official complaint in writing about 6 weeks ago and well yes heard diddly, but as we have banned our local sainsburys, we are running out of choice.

Right well reading through all of your posts I have nowhere near enough shoes or boots, I really need some boots as I have a lot of skirts but no boots to wear them with and they need to be boots for “big calves”:o:o

We had a very long lay in as we have been catching up on some sleep suffice to say that breakfast was in the afternoon.:rotfl:

We planned to go and see the in laws today, but because of 2 things we don’t want to pass on any lergy though I don’t think it is a lergy I think it’s just us unwinding. The other is we were going over to pick up pet food that has to go in the freezer and the other week we went a bit overboard on the rtc’s as all meat was reduced to 10p in Asda, we did a freezer inventory today as we need to make space and well we have 25 packets of deli ham, and 16 single portions of curry, 6 packs sausages, 2 cheesecakes and 3 apple and rhubarb pies, and just over £5 for the lot, and tiny freezer full of rtc bread, Well I was planning on snow that’s my excuse.:o

I’ve used lots of vegetables and a little frozen meat – it didn’t really dent the above thou, to go into a slow cooking casserole that’s got another 3 hours to go, but it smells wonderful my mouth is watering.;)

Might have a little play on the WII as we are in and very relaxed.

    And NSD / NPD

    Evening all,

PK - why have you banned yourselves from shopping at Sainsburys?
I completely agree with you all on Tescos. I refuse to spend even a penny with them. They have some really despicable business practices which I want no part of!

    Welcome Hayley! :hello:

    1) Very lazy morning, snoozing and reading
    2) Wrote a to do list so that I actually do something this weekend
    3) Went to see a lovely flat. Its on a main road which may be a little noisy
    4) Had a flat tyre and took it in. Turns out the rim was damaged. I thought I would need a whole new wheel but the nice man fixed it with a hammer and only charged £18 which I was quite pleased with as often they have had a look at my car with no charge.
    5) Going to a party tonight with my old next door neighbour from back home. I need to bake some biscuits to take with me, but I may have a snooze first.

    Night night

Evening! I can't say today has been the best day, but to be fair I've got a lot done. I've totally cleaned the kitchen, got some portions of spinach frozen and made pie for tea. I feel like I can sit down tonight and relax a bit. Anyway, pleasures:

    1. A lay in bed this morning. :)
    2. It being Saturday, and not having to drive at 7am!
    3. The kitchen and getting it completely cleaned.
    4. Getting my mealplan sorted.
    5. Feeling proud of myself for tea sorted so well. :)

Have a good evening, everyone. (((hugs))) to those in need.

Scrambles up onto soapbox to present the polite version :j

Ahh now you are asking where to start, it is literally around the corner so it is our local and I used to use it, but they continually blocked off foods we needed with stock trolleys, they made doing a shop there hard work and stressful. Their staff were rude to the point of revolting on literally every occasion, it felt like they resented you for daring to shop there, and would literally evil people at the check out, I tolerated it for a year but then thought it’s my money why should I shop there. They had substandard food, we saw staff kicking cans once, we were pushed out of the way by the their own staff delivery pickers on numerous occasions, and I just started dreading going there. Clutter everywhere so people couldn’t help but be in the way. We were treated like 2nd class citizens appalling.

We have an Asda it’s 10 miles away, but it is amazingly good, it has normally always got various things reduced, the prices are clear and in the main cheaper as in it’s easy to spot the classic rip offs, the staff always chat at the check out and are friendly. The people are just in general happier a better shopping experience, value for money.

Steps daintily back down again :)

Can't blame you PK! I'd take my custom elsewhere too.
