Evening
Frith - Good luck for tomorrow
Pleasures for today;
1. Lots more done at work today and got to chat with one of the guys I used to work with.
2. Managed to buy my friends DGD a lovely present and didn't spend too much. Also managed to put together a present for friend and her OH from what we already had. I wasn't planning on buying them presents but as I had been warned they had presents for us needed to do some quick thinking.
3. Just got back from friends mentioned in No.2 had a lovely evening catching up on each others news
4. Buying a gift for DD from my mum and dad. I knew they weren't really happy with what had originally been bought so I am giving her the clothes that were bought and they have now bought her a driving experience at Mercedes Benz which they are much happier with.
Hugs to all who need them0 -
5 quick ones for me-
1. Booked to go to the Christmas show with the children and my 17 year old son said yes, he'd love to come!!
2. Booked my tickets for the carol concert with a friend and planning a curry afterwards (not MS at all but lots to look forward to!)!
3. Listening to the Messiah whilst in the car, really beautiful.
4. My new place in the office is much nicer than I expected and I feel quite at home already.
5. Just off for a nice warm bath to heat up my freezing cold feet!
Hugs x£2 savers club no.107 :j £36 so far.0 -
hello from warmsville! Too warm for me but windows & doors are open & air is circulating with aid of 2 fans in the soggy (not so much now) bedroom.
1.Later start to work, so had time to put away ALL the towels, every single bath sheet & beach towel & bathmat were used in the mopping up, so took 10 mins this morning to sort them all out. Made porridge for girls & I enjoyed my toast & jam again. When I start work really early I can't face food so often forget to eat until late morning when I'm ravenous. I enjoy the sitting down & eating.
2. I had the most lovely drive to work, such a nice day, huge blue sky & lots of flowers & trees in full summer bloom. I drive through a nice ,affluent area & enjoy seeing the nice houses & gardens on my way to work.
3.Finished up earlier & had a nice drive home! Stopped at convenience store & bought my son some jelly beans! He was most chuffed to get a whole bag to himself! (wee soul!)
4.HUGE bag of lemons for $2.50 at green-grocers.....will make lemon drizzle cake later I think.
5.Starting to get Christmas cards from friends back home.....last year I don't think they realised it takes 2-3 weeks to get here, so we got lots after the event! However, only takes 3-4 days to get to UK.
Hope you have a good day & wrap up warm!0 -
millie -sorry to hear about your car
How is the bone Spavin?
ThanksSpavin still doesn't want to fuse, but she is not "lame" on it, just a bit unlevel in trot. The way she hoons around the field though, I think she is feeling ok
Even if she never comes completely sound again, we will keep her as a companion/big pet, as she lives on fresh air and apart from being a mucky madam in her box, is a doddle to do!

millie -boy! chalk and cheese then compared to oldie .
frith - I hope the interview went well?
a few for today
1. Meeting with a Provider went well.
2. Booked a two day site visit with another Provider next week . This will be the last two day visit of the year:D They know me so it should be ok .
3. Nice curry for tea
One of my chickens "by proxy" is poorly and she is very skittish anyway- jumps like popping corn , which makes it difficult to administer medication . My friend owns her and another , but has not got the space to keep her so she lives with us. She has been eating and drinking but is very wobbly on her feet:AToo fat to be Felicity Kendal , but aim for a bit more of the good life :A0 -
Evening all!
Savingforoz - looking forward to curry(we know each other in the real world, and I haven't seen her since she returned from galavanting around the world!)
My five pleasures:
1. Chatting online to some lovely friends, the internet can be a wonderful thing!
2. dd4 being generally cute and lovely, not that I'm at all biased.... Her whole face just lights up when she gives a gummy smile!
3. Kids being vey reasonable about things at the mo, this is not always normal behaviour here! dd1 phoned to ask me to pick her up as she'd finished early, but when told I couldn't she was fine and happy to catch the school bus as usual. ds has told me not to bother getting him anything for Chrimbo, as there is nothing he wants and I need the money more than him - to be fair he is not a greedy child usually anyway, well I say child, he'll be 18 in a couple of weeks! dd3 popped to the shop for me, and came back with sweeties for everyone, bought from her own money, and even got cough sweets for dd2 who is poorly, bless her! And all of them are happy with me and oh buying the tree next weekend whilst they're at their dad's, and then they can decorate it when they come home - really thought they'd moan and want it up earlier, but a real tree doesn't last well in a warm house, and I don't like decs up too early anyway!
4. Had a lovely thank you from a friend for the cake I made and took round - I should really thank Mary Berry lol!
5. Looking forward to a nice peaceful evening, tiny pink is asleep, everyone has been fed, oh is at work, and I have nothing that I have to do, so I am going to pour a glass of something cold and relax in the bath, then read a book whilst keeping dd4 company as she watches something on telly
Have a lovely evening xxGC Oct £387.69/£400, GC Nov £312.58/£400, GC Dec £111.87/£4000 -

Frith - hope the interview went well, and if its not the dream job for you, that it's been good experience x
1. Did a Reverbe and found 5pfirst one in what feels like ages
2. OH has given DD an old dress shirt and with a teatowel on her head, she looks gorgeous, I welled up a bit - wonder how I'll be at church on Friday!
3. Tidied the house in anticipation of the surveyor coming for the valuation, he came and went whilst I was out doing the school run
4. YS potatoes and nice chat with the greengrocer, love living in this village
5. OH is here and we're watching the Simpsons together
6. Enjoying the wine that I was given yesterday
7. DD made a scrumptious risotto for dinner, nomnomnom. Shame we don't have any risotto rice so it wasn't 1000% perfect.
8. Watched 5 Children and It DVD, fabulous
9. I've been invited to join a new funky project at work, very pleased (well, until I realise how much work it'll involve, lol)
Enjoy your evenings folks, I know I willTime to go and dedicate myself to my 2 beloveds

5 - Hubby calling from the train station to tell me I dont have to cook dinner as he has already eaten ! yeah a night off0 -
Mummysaver- your children sound adorable

Frith- oh noHope you are ok xx
Mine for today
1. Nice chat with lovely lady this morning and a bit of a lightbulb moment re. something I am stuck with!
2. Supportive texts from OH about something that was upsetting me- he is a total dude
3. Got some xmas type bargains out shopping in Asda, including a Leith's cooking bible for mum for xmas- rrp £35, for £15, She has the baking one and loves it, so she will be so happy with this
4. Figured out to keep Oldie still when she is having her legs washed...magic bran mash!! She loves bran mashes, but rarely gets them, so she nommed away, while I did her legs and she is now sporting her wicking leg wrap thingies. Last time, she had removed said leg wraps and deposited them, one by one, over her stable door overnight. Clown!!
5. Can't think of a fifth, but I am very lucky, with my fab OH, fab parents, lovely friends and gorgeous animals, so that shall suffice
Love and hugs to anyone in need xx0
