  • 1) joining a psychology study. (And meeting a very charming frenchman in the process)
2)watching my youngest give said frenchman a biiiiig beaming smile... Before promptly machine gun trumping in his nappy.
    2) getting my toddlers trike half built before giving up... It was too much!!!
    3) getting all nostalgic over star trek re runs.
    4) slicing up yesterdays shortbread.
    5) cutting OH's sarnies into gingerbread men shapes.

    :)
  • Frith many hugs to you. Be strong!

VJsMUM thanks for the wool supplier tip off (see below)

    Mine for today so far:

    1. An order of wool from EKemp's arrived today, fantastic value and very exciting!

    2. Went into town with OH after he finished a small job this morning (he is a self-employed electrician). Managed to go to bank, post office and also potter a bit. Picked up cute doggy advent calendars for next doors pooches (who we take for walks) from a pound shop.

    3. Lovefilm Knitting dvd arrived and they have upgraded our account for free to have an extra dvd each time. :-)

    4. Spoke to my insurance company about when I can start driving again. They say as soon as my doc feels I am up to it. Yippee!

    5. Feeling better healthwise than for quite a while. Four weeks after the op and I can feel I am getting back on my feet at last.

Hugs to all who need them.

  • You have been very brave Frith, bet you feel exhausted! Am keeping fingers crossed for you. Hugs.
  • Good evening all!

Frith -I feel that ninnoodle is spot on! I would ask in a jokey way "do you have a bit of a thing for the lady at work" ,"cos it sounds like you might have?" . I could not handle it eating away at me ( and why should I??) , so I would say it and blow the consequences . However I am sorry to say that if someone is going to cheat on you they will cheat on you and there is nothing that you or anyone else can do about it:( Please don't let your happiness be determined soley by the actions of another person . I was having a bit of a think about you ( I have never even met you I know!) and was so pleased to hear that you had completed a job application as I thought at last frith has done something for frith , which made me smile as you do so much to make everyone else happy -((hugs)) to you xx

purplekitten-sorry I forgot the "p" in your name in my last post;), it was at 6.19am though :)

    5 for today

    1. Another all day site visit to be continued all day tomorrow. I had to pull them up about leaving very sensitive info lying around today that I "found" in a public area . It will go in my report.. bet they can't wait !

    2. Home at 4 again as did not need to travel far from home .

    3. I have just scoffed a large bag of out of date crisps:)

    4. About to eat an rtc curry

    5. OH is out tonight so I can watch mindless tv.....

Have a good evening all !

Before I forget! Completely off topic...

Kittikins - last night I dreamed I drove your MrA to a wedding! You and small Kittikins were going to be there already. We stopped by a beach somewhere and had a flask of tea and MrA got the map out and couldn't fold it up properly again (you know how you have to get the creases going the right way in those big maps!)

Then I woke up. It was all very jolly. :-)
  • OOh I forgot an extra one ! See its not all about me :rotfl: OH had a three page article that he had written published in a magazine...... I don't understand a word of it :D

Your dream Frith is telling you that better, happier days are ahead of you. You are in the driving seat and are in control, the map is showing you that you will be able to see the way ahead. Not being able to fold it back up means that everything is planned and in place, if it gets jummbled up along the way, it will still come back together somewhere along the line :)

    1. A quiet morning at work - for once :)

    2. The bin being put back properly on the grass verge (by the binmen) where it should be instead of half out in the road - oh how that makes me happy I cannot tell you :D

    3. The car in the garage at home all cleaned - how long it will last for though is anyones guess!

    4. Seeing the dogs racing round the field happy tonight before getting home and devouring their dinner.

    5. The house, warm, clean and tidy!
Cat, Dogs and the Horses are our fag and beer money :D
