    HUGS to VJSmum :):)

    1. Cuddles with OH :)

    2. Cuddles with DD :)

    3. Hospital appointment wasn't scary this morning; the anaesthetist is happy with me having whatever type of anaesthetic, either local or general, so that's a HUGE relief. It was lovely to have OH there to hold my hand and talk rubbish with wihlst we were waiting, it was only afterwards that I acknowledged to myself just how stressed I'd been feeling about it.

    4. The sunshine, yet another glorious day here in Kittikins world :)

    5. Bought DD some desperately needed plimsolls for school, and thanks to MrSainsbugs, got 75p off - every little helps as their competitor says ;)

    6. Going to view a bungalow in a moment, bit expensive but hopefully interesting......wish me luck! UPDATE: Hmmmm, quite interesting but over-priced for what it was. The search will continue...

    7. OH has gone to London but I had a pleasure of his company over lunch and then the not so pleasurable experience of buying his train ticket as his DLA hasn't gone in on time! Oh well, I know he's good for the money ;)

    8. Easy working day, phew!

That's enough for not yet 2pm I guess!!

5 or so for today (Tues) so far.

    1) Waking up with MrB (albeit briefly to say goodbye as he went to work!)

    2) Boys off to school OK.

    3) Changed bed (small boys had eaten crusty bread in my bed...) and tidied house.

    4) Went into Ludlow and had a good look round the charity shops. No clothes that I fancied for any of us but got to the very last one and found a BIG box of Scalextric track for £4! :-)

    5) Spotted a roadkill pheasant on the way back over the Clee Hill so got that for dinner for my brother's ferrets.

    6) Had a chat with my dad.

    7) Back home now, fire going well and about to have my tea and wait for sons to come home. Holby City later. :-)

    Bit more

    8) Mazuma mobile gave me £6 for my very old phone!

Afternoon all, just wanted to post a few pleasures :)

    1. My sister told me a sparrowhawk flew into her garden today - nearly hit the conservatory window! It landed on the nearby trellis - wow, would have been a sight to see!
    2. Homemade banana cake. :)
    3. A weird general feeling of wellness. I have had sniffles for a few days that haven't materialised into a full-blown cold, so this is a wonderful feeling.
    4. Smiling. Weirdly, it makes me feel better today.
    5. Having a lovely night's sleep last night - went to bed about 2 hours earlier than normal, slept all night and feel much better for it.

(((hugs))) to those in need, hope everyone has a lovely evening,

    KB xx

    hello all!

1)wore new wellies that dont leak- goodbye to soggy socks (also wellies are thermal so will be able to traipse around in mud in winter to my hearts content).

2)none of the staff in Tescos gave me a hard time when I went round 11 times, each with 24 boxes of 12 sachets of whiskas (on offer BOGOF), and a £5 off voucher from the Sun each time. 264 boxes in all, and nothing but smiles and laughs from the staff (was for a cat rescue, but I've had staff be stroppy before when I clear the shelves)

Sorry to hear that so many people are having a tough time at the moment, hugs and thoughts to all in need xx

    Mine for today:

    1. Managed not to strangle my Mother when I took her for her hospital apt, in spite of her complaining loudly that my dress was too short (it was, but I had leggings on) and muttering about my reverse parking...huzzah!

    2. Cuddles with the ponies. The cob decided that he didn't want to play OS today and had kicked most of his hay through his (shavings) bed....what a flipping mess. But as hay is £6/bale around here at the moment, I collected what I could and chucked it over for fatty next door. Every cob I have ever met has had the willpower of the average labrador, but this one is a fussy beggar! :rage:

    3. I let oldie have 20 mins on the good grass <insert hysterical laughter> Oldie decided that 20 min was nowhere near enough and refused to be caught. Even the dog looked at me as if to say "we didn't think that through, did we?"

    4. Veggie fajitas for dinner - all made from stores :D

    5. Lots of trashy magazines left for me at the yard- so planning an early night with them, classy bird that I am!!

hi all, struggling at bit recently. stressed out, tired and things not going great.....

    1. Last week OH had his first full week of work this year
    2. That means we have a bit of extra money just in time for MOT!!
    3. I finally plucked up courage to email the boss with the reasons I ought to get a pay rise - they replied that they knew all of this and it would be given consideration. Made me feel a tiny bit better about all the extra work I've been given all year - though how long that lasts will depend on the final outcome!!
    4. erm... I have lots of food in the freezer.
    5. I have a 99p shop just round the corner from work, making it easy to pick up the odd bits and saving me some money.
working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?

    Evening all.

    1) Beetawix cake for breakfast this morning. :o

    2) Only two more days at work this week as I've got Friday off. :)

    3) Fireworks going off as I was leaving work - I never get tired of them. (Although I'm once again dreading the annual fight with the mog over the next few nights: unlike most animals he's not afraid of fireworks - he actually seems to enjoy watching them - which means I have a real struggle to keep him inside where it's safe. :()

    4) HM soup for dinner, from the freezer, with enough left for lunch tomorrow.

    5) Watching another episode of Dinosaur Planet on iplayer - it's silly but entertaining and mildly informative.

Hugs to all that need them - I'm feeling a bit :( myself this evening so I can appreciate the need for e-hugs.
Back after a very long break!
