Some out of sortsies I see - so, kittikins, here's YOUR hug[OH is probably mystified and mortified equally, as even Lovely Men so often are] and purple, here's YOURS[for the Bridge-y types].

Ladyhawk - do please try Cara Black and Fred Vargas[she's a remarkable French academic, but a brilliant 'tec. fiction writer] and don't forget Ann Cleeves or Louise Penny.

Frith - that lovely long sleep was Nature's reward, long-merited.

sparrer - you were marvellous to be with and intelligent perceptive company. Of course I couldn't help but feel solicitous and probably drove you mad checking far too often....:o.

village life - you have come here and shared your loss. Know that we all understand some part of it with you.
    ##########

    1. I've kept a weather eye on Martin's petition figure slowly climbing, but seemingly stalled the other day. Suddenly though, it's leapt very near the 100,000 required for a Parliamentary Debate. It's an important subject and I look forward to seeing it attain the Pass Mark. 'Reminded':D;) everyone I knew.

    2. Moving em reply from the rosehip recipes lady[earlier post, met Tuesday at Charity]who explains that although she uses crutches, it is her apparent 'carer' husband who is the afflicted one. She is HIS carer - early onset Alzheimer's. Much else of the cruel and increasing loss they as indivduals and family are undergoing. I think we will all meet outside my duty days...all 3 of us had mutual pleasure, chat and laughter around books, reading, Life. We will do so again.

    3. Replayed good yesterday during medical thing today, with beautiful sunny bus[free Pass] rides meandering through villages before and after.

    4. Back late afternoon to find shed roof re-felted - thankyou neighbour's bro.
But he saw Ratty was back. We all back onto big farmland and they do come though hedge, so -

    5. ....was talking with said neighbour as I collected my keys. She saw 4 corpses in field yesterday and has used up her Rentokil Rodine. Farmer says the rats are intelligent[they'll stop taking bait, fooling us into thinking they've turned up their toes, then resume] and becoming immune. Back here, online and on 'phone for ages to all the stores and specialist suppliers, suddenly came across a near village no. and, in short, Dave's bringing a 20k sack of Rentokil Deadline[professional stuff] tomorrow morning for £30. It's a massive help as this is pretty much the price of 3k and 5k lots retail. Dave and his Dad's established firm exercised some wholesale buying power 2 months ago and that's made the difference. Online, these sacks are £49.20 + P&P. We have the lockable containers required, so all is set.

    6. Another thing forgotten from yesterday[silly, when it's one we all report here]another Reverbe! And it duplicated both amount and location of my last one!...... 5p and 1p at the Bus stop, although this was Drummer Street terminus, not village. As sparrer is my witness:)....

    7. Early bus tomorrow>atm[shed work, shortfall in felt and Deadline to pay for, so £65 required, but could be much worse], Grauniad and sugar[enough still in Clubcard+ a/c]and then start working for Fair prep.[ever more necessary £££-wise] May not be up to much over coming fortnight and must be Tigger-bouncy for 20th.

Off to bed now - my Goethe is great, how different from studying Faust is Elective Affinities!
Happy weekends to all, with resolution of all outstanding domestics, soft hugs, smiles all round...and all the hand-holding love we saw between Our Couple yesterday.

Sorry, I'm a bit pants to put this all online aren't I......oh well, hopefully he'll call me soon and put my mind at rest. I have had trust issues in the past, was very very insecure when we met and he would just hug me, reassure me, make me feel loved, but tonight I'm feeling wobbly

kittikins - You have more questions than answers at the moment re the dating website , that only your OH can answer / explain. I hope that you get the reassurance that you need xx You are so supportive of everyone else on this thread that your first post was a little out of character and it's natural for us to want to reciprocate when you are feeling down -its not pants at all to put it online . Better than cutting up his suits etc !!

Perhaps it's necessary to try and feel as he might, too,- unaccustomed to having son staying; mix this with his living with his parents anyway, then add son seeing this unusual dynamic. How much OH is probably wishing that all was just simple and safe with you, kittikins and your DD! He may be feeling rather insecure himself, if unable to offer you a semblance of the new home future/Life, which your viewings may lead to demain...for which, Bonne Chance!

Know idea what the R4* play is that's on, but I can't stand it, full of screeching heavy over-Thesping, purporting[sans doute]to be surreal, comic, intellectual.

We've had a good talk on the phone and he's said the right things, as it were, and is going to show me that the messages are old and unopened/unanswered as he's not been a subscriber to that site for well over a year (we met 10 months ago) and has told me he loves me very much, feels very lucky to have met me and would never want to hurt me etc etc. So, I'm still feeling a bit delicate but hopefully I'll be better for sleeping and will not have any lingering sadness about today as I go through tomorrow.

    3. Weigh-day, lost another 1lb :)
    4. Delicious siesta, slept through 3 text messages and a phone call - nothing urgent thank goodness - and thoroughly enjoyed it

    1. Had huge big cuddles with one of my horses today and he was appreciative fo the fuss. His back leg is also showing signs of improvement from a recent bout of mud fever so very happy with that.

    2. Swept up around the patio and had a mini session of doing around the house as well - not all the leaves are down yet but they will be soon!

    3. Used loads of old compost up in the pots for planting up the pansies. Planted all my pansies into the pots and that is a job well and truly complete. Not even had to buy a new bag of compost truly recycled today.

    4. Had a big fuss session with the dogs.

    5. Just cooked dinner and I am going to have a quiet night in with my feet up.
Cat, Dogs and the Horses are our fag and beer money :D

    1. Thank you for the lovely PMs and support xx

    2. I had a rubbish night's sleep and still felt very weepy and odd this morning, so decided to take DD out for a mummy daughter fun day to cheer me up and make sure she didn't become too aware that her old muvva was feeling ropey, so we had fun planning it :)

    3. However, she is in tune with me and came in to my bed for cuddles then started stroking my hair and saying lovely things, all without me saying or doing anything to elicit it, wow!! :)

    4. We went to the flicks for the £1 children's show, but after waiting a while, an employee came in and said that sadly there was a technical fault with our screen so we had 2 options - either get a full refund of our tickets or go into any other film that we wanted! There was a stampede for Tintin and the Lion King, but we chose Dolphin Tale, which was fantastic :) (and was what DD had initially asked to see but I'd vetoed it on the basis of cost....). Hoorah!

    5. Took DD for lunch at Pizza Express and educated the staff on how to use luncheon vouchers towards our bill, thanks P!necone surveys :)

    6. The sun shone for us and we had a lovely stroll around Brighton Marina

    Saving the best for last..........

    7. After its first 2 viewings this morning, my house has SOLD for the price I wanted!!! :):):) Very happy Kittikins and DD, I was overwhelmed when the agent called me to let me know that the 2nd set of people out of the 3 lined up over lunchtime, LOVED the house and the messy garden (they can see its potential whereas I can see 80 ft of hard work that I can't/won't ever do ;) ) and put an offer in within 15 minutes of leaving it. Apparently the lady couldn't sleep last night she was so excited at the thought of coming to see my place, and that was even without having any details, as the agents haven't had time to prepare/get me to approve them yet!! So, they saw my neighbour's details (as her house has just sold and is kind of the mirror image of mine) and were excited :):)

I can't wait to see OH and feel reassured again by him, although he's doing his best on text and phone calls, fingers crossed he'll be feeling well tomorrow, so I'm not 100% sure about his visit yet, but he's apologised for hurting me and says he wants to get rid of the offending website in front of me so that we both know its done, which sounds like a nice thing for him to offer as he didnn't get defensive about it when I confronted him on the phone last night. I don't want to be a nag about it at all, just wanted him to know that I was devastated and confused, thinking that he was looking for a replacement for me!
