    3) Packed away my tent which has been lying in a corner for about 2 months because I couldn't face trying to stuff it into its bag.

    4) Chatted to my mum on the phone.

Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry. But by demonstrating that all people cry, laugh, eat, worry and die, it introduces the idea that if we try to understand each other, we may even become friends.

    4. Having a lovely cup of tea at home after getting soaked coming home from Mr.T
    5. Finish off a bottle of the bargain wine I bought on Friday with OH

Hugs to all who need them

Hello all, I am back from the frozen wastes - well actually Stockholm where it was, in fact, exceedingly warm. Some from my hols

    1. Stockholm which was an incredible experience
    2. The view from our caravan pitch outside of Stockholm but on the edge of a lake - amazing.
    3. Seeing an elk literally bounding through a wheat field having been startled by my son - incredibly beautiful and special moment.
    4. A meal with DH in the tivoli gardens in COpenhagen on the way back, not very MSE  but absolutely wonderful (wonderful ;)! Copenhagen, see - wonderful wonderful - geddit? :o), while the kids enjoyed themselves on the rides
    5. Visiting a viking village in Southern Sweden where the people still live as vikings (without the raping and pillaging, I imagine) even after the museum is closed. True OS!! :rotfl:

Not glad to be back - I loves me holidays.
I wanna be in the room where it happens

5 or so for today (Sunday).

I hope our MrB's are not one and the same! :D

    1) Bit of a lie in.

    2) Smaller son made me a cup of tea while I was in bed.

    3) Went to Sainsburys so stocked up again now.

    4) House looking quite tidy, esp considering part of it is still a building site!

    5) Neighbours (not MrN!) came round to have a nose and have taken the number of the builder as they have the same rubbishy damp/artexed walls that I had.

    6) Went to brother's with scraps for his pigs.

    7) Sister came round and has bought me new curtain poles - a very good choice too as they go with the existing wall lights.

    8) Lovely texts from MrB and we are meeting up tomorrow! :j:j

    9) Whisper it - MrsN has moved out again. ;)

    Evening all

Ladyhawk - No need to move as it's here in Aberdeen. 10 minutes drive from my house so nearer than my current office...will mean a reduction in diesel costs and not have to deal with the rush hour traffic
Chicken - Well done on your weight loss...that's absolutely amazing! I can assure you than mine and Friths Mr B's aren't the same - mines currently in America ;)
house elf - So sorry to hear that your son was robbed. It must have been awful for him. I'm glad to hear that the police took it seriously
sparrer - Don't worry I've got a very good idea of what I want for the job....after I told my mum the job spec she reckoned they should throw in a Wonder Woman outfit too :rotfl:We'll be expecting to hear about this date too
Keith - I think you need to have a word with Trevor about where he leaves his presents - let us know how you get on with the wine
Kittikins - Thanks...hopefully I can start negotiations tomorrow. I'll be sure to keep you all posted

    1) Big shop done - was a bit of a squeeze getting everything in the freezer
    2) Finally finished up the mince with a tin of mushy peas and gravy - yummy
    3) Treated myself to a jam doughnut
    4) Nicely chilled bottle of rtc cider after dinner :D
    5) The Chrysanthanums I bought on offer last week are still looking lovely - they remind me so much of my grandma - she used to grow and sell them

I've got to say I'm a bit miffed with Asda at the moment - the rtc section is no proving very good at the moment - found a pack of mince with a reduced price of £2.53 (still a bit pricey) then I spotted another sticker on it that said 2 for £5  - hardly a reduction then! There's a meat factory near me that has a shop so I think I might be paying them a visit soon

Hope you all had a good day. Hugs to those that need them

    1. Had a very long but really good day with three dear friends, everything I made for lunch was low cal and the Shamble pud disappeared completely! Put a scoop of raspberry sorbet in the bottom of the dishes which made it even more yummy
    2. Later went to a lavender farm which was absolutely beautiful. I didn't buy anything in their shop but it's given me an idea for a small hedge I want to grow in the garden, to edge the fruit patio
    3. Thanks to one of the above friends I now have the most beautiful vase of sunflowers in the kitchen. I love yellow flowers, in fact like CCP I love yellow, it's such a happy colour :D
    4. It rained just before I was going to water the garden :T
    5. The secret's out, so...I met him on a dating site :o, he's a year older than me, lives not too far away, semi retired, and has a beautiful soft Welsh accent :). And he's not in, nor hasn't just come back from the States :rotfl:

    Sweet dreams, hugs to everyone

    Morning All,

Busy day ahead for Mum's Taxi, so will try to be quick!

Lol on the Mr B conspiracy :rotfl:(Sounds like a nice chap.......... and omni-present!!!!)

Thanks for your concern re- DS2's robbery incident. He was fine. At least it was an old phone and he can't use his bus pass or his phone while we are on hols, so all replacements will be delivered by the time we get back. :)

    Yesterdays 5

    1. Using all my coupons in MrT to get £20 off the shopping. :money:

    2. Free tickets for Planet of the Apes film. Glad I didn't pay to see it , but the kids liked it! (DH described it as the A team with fur!!:rotfl:).

    3. Quick trip to Primark as its opposite the cinema to get a few holiday bits.

    4. Takeaway Chinese for tea. DS2 has his birthday while we are on hols, so we invited family friends and gave him his presents and ahd birthday cake. (Now feeling a bit dehydrated, probably all that MSG, nothing to do with the wine!).

    5. Made seseme prawn toasts from the Takeaway Secret to go with the takeaway meal. (Will be braver with the garlic and ginger next time, but v good!).

Have a good day everyone. HE x

    Hi Everyone,

hope your Monday hasn't been too bad...

Sparrer - I can't wait to hear about how your date goes... fingers crossed for you. Now that I am not moving on Oz then I had better get back on the dating horse. Afterall when you fall off one you need to get right back on.

    1) NSD today... my lovely colleague bought my lunch for me when I forgot to draw any money out.

    2) Took one of my cakes into work and it was met with appreciative noises.

    3) One of my colleagues is usually very stand offish and can be difficult to deal with.... but over the last few days has really gone out of his way to be friendly and really pleasant to deal with. It makes a nice change. I think it is because the boss is on hols so he doesn't feel that he needs to be on his best behaviour the whole time.

    4) Cuddles with the kitty this evening and trying not to laugh at his hiccups

    5) Sunny evening after a gloomy day

    Have a lovely evening.

    Good evening all

Ladyhawk- re the watering can frog . He wanted a snog, but I told him that I would could never be a handsome princess.

Frith-I guess that you are not too surprised that Mrs. N has moved out? ;) I was going to make a comment about the mouse that ran into your house the other day and if it was carrying a couple of black bags and a suitcase...but that would be a bit naughty:)

Sparrer.... ooh a soft welsh accent, you go girl:T

VJsmum- sounds like you had a good holiday , I wouldn't mind visiting that village and being chucked over a vikings shoulder;)

    5 pleasures so far

    1. Transferring some money into my savings account :)

2.Giving away 18 eggs and getting a big bag full of egg boxes back. The boxes cost so much if you buy them- not that I ever would.

    3. My cousins OH telling me that she thought that I had lost a lot of weight.

    4.Thai red curry .

    5. Getting quite a good deal on bark chippings as I feel that they are usually very expensive during the summer months.

I have deliberately not mentioned Mr. B for fear of stirring up a hornets nest:rotfl:She says with her wooden spoon:rotfl:

Have a good evening everyone x
:AToo fat to be Felicity Kendal , but aim for a bit more of the good life :A
