    me again!
    Today's pleasures!

    1.Lie in.....hurrah!

2.Popped in to say hello at work with OH and then had a wander round the market that is held there every Sunday in the carpark. It was just closing but looks quite good so will go earlier another day. Got some lovely jonquils for $1 a bunch. They smell delightful. Got 6 large protea flowers for $4.00. These should last a while.

3.Went to Woolworths for our shopping. Got RTC chicken , organic burgers & chicken & mango sausages. Had these on a barbequeue for tea. RTC veg & RTC pumpkin, which will do a couple of pans of soup this week. Also RTC flowers for $2 (from $10) so quite pleased with my haul!

4.Home & all caught up on housework , OH hoovered, I ironed & did bathrooms & kids did their rooms....so ready to start a new week.

    5. It has been the most glorious day here and we had a barbeque for dinner....so no cooking for me & I have prepared dinner for tomorrow so it will just need cooked. DD1 has made sandwiches for packed lunches...her new job! DS did dishes (his job....much huffing & puffing every night!)

    6. Washing out on the line, all dried & smelling fresh!

    7.Nice chat with my sister.

    8. Just going to watch Casualty!

    Have a great day! M x

    1. Watered the lawn for 1/2 hour early this morning but no sign of new grass yet. I know I only seeded last night but I really have no patience :rotfl:
    2. Just scraped in at the last minute to get an offer of transferring a photo onto canvas for £8 instead of £44 :D
    3. Gave a box of luxury M&S chocolates to my neighbour. They were a gift for my b/day last week and have been sitting in the fridge all this time, teasing me. I couldn't stand it any longer! :(
    4. Got the throws on the line before breakfast, they were dry in a couple of hours
    5. Excellent meeting with friends at lunchtime. Someone brought yummy chocolate biscuits but I managed to stop my hand creeping toward the tin. It was agony!

Big hugs to everyone, night night

    5ish for today (Sunday).

    1) Bit of a lie in.

    2) Took smaller son back to his father's (he refused to stay overnight there last night) and he seemed happy enough. They've gone camping over the border now.

    3) Went to mum and dad's for lunch and stayed to tea as well!

    4) Took brother's dog for a walk up to the church and played the organ for a bit. (My piano is still under wraps until the builders have finished).

    5) NHS working well again. :-) Brother took part in a tennis match, fell over and knocked himself out! It took him several minutes to come round then he was retching and went into shock but the ambulance was there very quickly (we live in the middle of nowhere) and they checked him over and he didn't have to go to hospital.

    6) Lovely, chatty emails from 2nd Guardian man so I will be going out to dinner with him tomorrow. Eeek!

    Good evening everyone,

    sparrer-
well done you for not giving in to the lure of chocolate!

    8 for today

    1. A visit to the local art gallery- free of course.I have been meaning to do so for some time.It was fantastic.

    2. Gave away 24 eggs this weekend

    3. OH caught a lobster and a crab which he cooked and prepared for my Mum, sister and himself. Not my cup of tea I'm afraid.

4.Our friendly seagull flew down and nicked OH's packet of cigarettes and took them up on to the shed roof. Surely he must have seen the photographic health warnings on the packet?:rotfl:

    5. Baby cabbages sprouting

6.Nearly £4 knocked off of petrol with the 10p off a litre voucher

    7. Have ordered a book about a man who lived without money for a year. I know that this will raise more questions for me than it answers so I am really looking forward to receiving it. It cost £1.43 and is new ,although the postage was considerably more.

    8. Washing dried on line despite it being put out late.

    Good night all x

    Evening all,

Frith - good luck with the dinner tomorrow night

Sparrer - your self control is pretty spectular... even if your patience isn't ;)

I've had a lovely relaxing weekend...

    1) My first sunflower has opened in me "sunflower forest". I can't wait for the rest of them to come out. I love sunflowers!

    2) Iced the cakes I baked yesterday in preparation of taking them into work tomorrow to raise money for my Sunwalk. I ate rather a lot of the cream cheese icing straight from the bowl... I lurve cream cheese icing.

    3) Final load of washing washed and almost dried.

    4) Skyped my mum

    5) Made a fish pie for supper - it was a little watery but nice nonetheless.

    6) Had a geat badminton session this morning and am going to hurt in the morning!

Nighty night everyone... hope you all have a wonderful week.

Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry. But by demonstrating that all people cry, laugh, eat, worry and die, it introduces the idea that if we try to understand each other, we may even become friends.
