Meet you in Oz then (not that I have been asked for an interview yet...)
    Man plans and God laughs...
Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry. But by demonstrating that all people cry, laugh, eat, worry and die, it introduces the idea that if we try to understand each other, we may even become friends.

Hmm....wonder if I can swing a work swap with a colleague in Oz ;)

    1. Saw OH and his family for a bit this afternoon; dropped something off and stayed for a natter and a quick cuddle :):)
    2. YS bread rolls, perfect for DD's packed lunches
    3. Found some great flat boots in Br*ntano for a really great price, it's just a shame I only tried on 3 pairs of flipping boots and it's hurt my s*dding leg :( Painkillers aren't quite touching it yet, ho hum....
    4. YS grapes - DD and I ate the lot rather quickly!
    5. Popped over to a lovely friend's for dinner with DD.

Right, off to clump my stupid leg up to bed and cuddle DD who is sleeping in there already :)

    hello
nearly 6pm here. Been another cool day here. However, the sun did make a brief appearance.

1.Early start.....actually woken up by my alarm clock today, usually wake up before it goes off. Busy day at work.
    2.Home & hoovered up & washing on etc,etc!
3.Quick trip to supermarket but not many bargains to be had. Got some reduced meat that I'll use for dinner tonight.
4.Got my gas bill in today & not as high as I was worried it might be! $100 higher than the last one but considering we have had the heating on everyday for past couple of months I was worried it might have been higher.

struggling for a 5th! Think i might go for a bath & see if that will heat me up a bit!

Have a great day......nearly the weekend again!

    Hi all

Sparrer, I did not plant the wild garlic because I forgot to plant it straight away at the right time (before spring), I still have the seeds safely stored and will plant them in the back garden in February next year. I had so many things to plant for the allotment that somehow the poor wild garlic got bypassed for this year, unfortunately!

Here are my blessings for today:

1 - Received my order of curry powders in the post, very fast, only ordered them a couple of days ago! Looking forward to more homemade curries with the authentic spices now!

2 - DS made me a lovely breakfast of scrambled eggs with mushrooms and cheese.

3 - My friend came over with her son, she needed something sorted out in Italian and I did it for her. It was lovely to see her and she brought me two bottles of homemade Italian wine and a packet of biscuits.

4 - Today is going to be a rest and relaxation day after a lot of running around yesterday.

    5 - No rain = bedding laundry!

Have a good day all x
Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).

Bedding, towels and dogs bedding washed and out on the line drying in this lovely weather.

Still airing off my down jacket from yesterday it will take a while to get it back. I might hang up in the loft as it is hotter up there and will dry the feather and down in no time at all.

Went to Tesco's this monring Pedigree dog food has jumped from £1.36 a can to £1.56 in one fell swoop. They are now having Tesco's Bruno dog food at 99p a can (the really big size cans). I am not paying stupid amounts for a tin of dog food and that price is unjustifiable, if I stop buying it hopefully others will and Pedigree will rethink the pricing.
Cat, Dogs and the Horses are our fag and beer money :D

Sitting, waiting for two deliveries so thought I may as well post this morning instead of later...

    1. In advance but expecting delivery of my new sofas today, bought in a sale for silly money, and got double Nectar points :D
    2. Also in advance, expecting delivery of a new router courtesy of VM, after no end of nuisance on Tuesday :)
    3. Super drying day, giving everything a good blow outside. I love that fresh air smell when the laundry comes in and often give everything a good sniff...sorry if tmi!
    4. Read on another forum about using grey water for the loo by putting it in the cystern as it starts to fill after a flush, why didn't I know about this before?? Used shower water and non-greasy w/u water yesterday, left one lot in the loo overnight and it's sparkling :D
    5. Used my new garden tap - which I've been waiting for for about 7 years, and can't believe how easy it is! No more lugging buckets outside, getting me and the kitchen soaked, taking half an hour to do it and taking my breath away. Four or five mins with the tap and hey presto! All done! Amazing :D
    6. Just an extra, opened the curtains to see my newly tidied garden, it look 100% different, 100% better, with very grateful thanks to my lovely friends

    Enjoy your day, hugs
    S x
