hello from wet & bloomin' chilly Melbourne! My fingers are frozen!

2.another good day at work and pay day (always a bonus!), saw lots of happy ducks & tiny winter wrens.
3.went for lunch with the kids after work & we went to our favourite cafe & sat next to the log fire. When I drove home it was sunny (but dark clouds) when we went to go out 5 minutes later it was pouring....heavy icy cold rain! So we needed to dry off & warm up so the fire was just perfect! nice lunch, waitress brought us out an extra bowl of fries , good read of the paper & good company!
4.Was most constrained & just bought milk as that was what I needed! Not like me!
5.Home & snuggled up under my quilt, finished my book & had a wee snooze!
6.Still full from late lunch so don't need a dinner!
Have a good day!0 -
VJsmum pleased your DH still has a job. It's okay to manage without but becomes a worry when the £'s run down and the letters of rejection (or no letters at all!) start to roll in. However, all's well and that a good one for today
Caterina and Carolyntia sadly most things have got too wet and have rotted, loganberies, raspberries, blackberries, garlic, wild garlic, new pear tree, etc etc. I managed to save a few potatoes last night, 6lb from 12 tubs so have to be grateful for small mercies. How's your wild garlic coming on Caterina?
1. Busy yesterday and today which is how I like it
2. Friends from my fellowship here this am, tidying the garden as I type
3. 2 nsd's
4. Using up lunch of salmon and salad
5. Broadband provider sending me a new router free of charge as even their tech says my speed - or rather the b/band speed, but he could be right on both counts- is 'abysmal'
Have a good day everyone
