Feeling ever so slightly delicate after attending my nieces 21st birthday. :o

So mine for yesterday - if i can remember them!

    1. A fry up with dad for breakkie - first time someone's cooked him one since christmas
    2. Seeing family at niece#s do.
    3. My OH cleared stuff out of his mothers loft and found an old soft toy of mine that someone made for me when i was 5 (I am now 47), I think the cry of "fleur!!" could be heard all around when he showed me. :p
    4. Rather too much wine at the "do"
    5. Joe McElderry winning Pop Star to Opera Star.
I wanna be in the room where it happens

Hi all - been a hectic off line week with two sicky children!! So mine for weekend past are:

    1. Buying a smart trike for my DS 1st birthday this friday :)
    2. Impromptu BBQ at the in laws on saturday evening. Kids were staring to feel better so fresh air did them good and the food was yummy!
    3. Matalan 20% off voucher which meant I got DD, Jeans, 2 dresses, a skirt, Pjs, socks, vests, pants and shoes for under £40!! I was well happy with that and she is sorted for the summer.
    4. Bottle of wine with the hubby on Friday night and we watched the new Karate Kid with Jackie Chan and Jaden Smith - 2 big kids but it was fab!
    5. The news that my very best friend is moving home after 4 years of living abroad :):):):) Cant wait!!

Hope everyone has lovely days x

    Hi all

Dee (((HUGS))) sending you warm thoughs. Stay positive!

Frith, I hope you won't let MrN ever fool you again, you can do a lot better than that!

Here are a few pleasures for the last few days:

1 - Allotment very productive, lots of courgettes and the first few runner beans have appeared too.

2 - All the raised beds are now planted and the allotment looks like very good, one of these days I shall take pics to post here.

3 - Garden also very productive, runner beans in full flow and some self-seeded chard leaves have appeared unexpectedly.

4 - Bought a tent in the sales and booked myself to go to a camp in August, can't wait!

5 - Feeling fitter than I have in years, really grateful!

Have a good day all x
Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).

Sparrer ....sorry for leading you down a path of temptation....bet it was good though!

1.Very early start at work! Was still dark o'clock!
2.Sorted through my craft stash & re-homed it in my new drawers! DD2 has a new to her craft tool box, so she is quite chuffed!
3.Went to Salvos with DD2 & we got some new to us wicker baskets for the laundry room & a nice chat with shop assistant. DD2 got a new skirt & a lovely new to her bag!
4.Walked up to the library & got a few books out. I am not reading as much as I am working & was struggling to get through a book that was a sequel ......I had not read it's prequel so was a bit hard going. However, got it finished so can start a new book....hopefully more easy going!
5.Made a kind of curry for dinner, with chicken , veggies, chick peas & coconut cream but unfortunately was just a bit tasteless......not enough curry spices but I was scared to put too much in! Anyway was edible !
6.Just had a nice chat on facebook with an old neighbour who is in Singapore now. Our youngest girls were such good friends when they were little.

Have a good day! I am watching Australian Masterchef....it is on 6 nights a week ( Saturday off for good behaviour!) We are down to the final 8 contestants from 30 & it's been going on for bloomin' weeks!

I bet! Although I love the outdoors I am still nervous of even domesticated beasties (dogs, cows) or even flying ones (wasps, daddy longlegs) so it is a struggle for me, but the pleasures outdo the disadvantages.

Evening all - or possibly 'eye eye' as I've got the start of a stye. ;)

    1) NSD.

    2) Discussing fancy dress costumes with a colleague and finding that I've got the item she needs to complete her outfit so she doesn't have to buy something new. :money:

    3) Not very OS, but I think I've found a new car at last - I'm test-driving it tomorrow. :j

    4) Cheese and tomato pasta bake for dinner - nom!

    5) The swifts that had gone missing from my area seem to be back and are shrieking around the rooftops again. :)

    Have a good evening, all.
Back after a very long break!

Ouch CCP, hope you've got a gold ring you can gently rub on that eye of yours :( Hope you feel better soon.

    1. Eventually slept on the ultra-comfy bed in the spare room as DD was doing a starfish impression in my bed! :)
    2. Sunshine and got the washing dry
    3. A few nice texts with a tired OH, his busy weekend has taken it out of him and I'm now feeling grotty again so
    4. DD went to play at a lovely friend's house after school
    5. Nice chats with friend at work
    6. Bought OH some YS g-f sausages which are now residing in the freezer

Feeling a bit grotty again tonight so am going to catch up on my favourite threads on here and have another early night.....yawn!

    5 for today (Monday).

    1) Got bigger son to school in time.

    2) Went to see my friend and helped her with some housework. Smaller son had been "ill" so was with me and did some hoovering!

    3) Took some wizened vegetables from my friend for my brother's pigs.

    4) Went with brother to get his dog from the vets as he's been "done" today.

    5) Just been playing my violin for a while.

Not nice news is that, when I left my house to go and collect sons after they had had tea with the ex, I came face to face with MrN in the alleyway between our 2 houses. :-( I knew it would be bad the first time I saw him but it was absolutely awful. He muttered something that could have been "alright?" and I just gazed at him and he looked at me and I couldn't say anything. I kept on walking and I hope he didn't turn round and watch me go because I broke into a run! By the time I got over to where the boys were, I just wanted to lie down on the pavement. Bloomin Nora. :-(
