Seem to have got quite a bit done today really. Got up and did the early morning courier run before returning home for breakfast. The boys were doing a version of Britain's Got Talent at school today, a special Victorian one, and they were Ant and Dec (figures, I suppose) so went into school for that.

This afternoon worked on the website all afternoon except for popping into the solicitors for the paperwork re the residency issue. Filled that in and will drop back tomorrow morning after DX. Popped into Asda too for some gardening gloves, tea towels and a bit of shopping (total £8), put £16 of diesel in the car too and that was it for spends.

Tonight, tidied the garden front and back and also mowed the lawn, put wheelie bin out for tomorrow and showered before settling down for a night in front of the telly and the laptop.

Didn't get the time to update last night so a brief one this morning.

Early morning DX run yesterday, nipped into Asda for a few bits, hung one load of washing out and started another one before ringing the boys, all before 8.30am...

Rest of the day was quite peaceful. Had to drop some more paperwork into the solicitors this morning, website work then collected boys from school. Chilled for the rest of the day and watched the Eddie Stobart show in the evening.

Today, one twin has woken up with tummyache so I will be taking him home while the other one goes to football training then the Sky engineer will be coming round this afternoon to fit me up (so to speak).

Not the smoothest of days, I must admit. Football training was shockingly attended with only seven players turning up albeit four others made their excuses for not coming. Oldest twin's tummyache eased so he came and watched training from the car.

Stayed in for Sky all afternoon but he arrived quite late and in a rush so he's coming back tomorrow to do the work.

Enjoyed Britain's Got Talent tonight and Million Pound Drop Live curled up on settee and now doing website work for an hour before bedtime.

Hmm, lost my first message so will make this a short one in case it suffers the same fate.

Good day all in all.... took the boys round the park this afternoon although the older twin had a meltdown round there (sorry for borrowing your word, BB), due mainly to the fact he has a complex since his mum told him she hated him a fortnight ago. He now thinks we both prefer the younger twin...:eek:

I think things will begin to ramp up soon as Social Services will be visiting her this week to talk to the boys.

Tonight took the boys back before going on to a managers meeting for next season under-11's team.

Long day yesterday with a trip down to the football club, then across to the older kids and back home at 11pm last night.

Was offered 517 papers yesterday by the lady doing the papers although time wise, realistically I'm only going to be able to do three quarters of that. Should bring in an extra £160 a month which will pretty much cancel out what I'm losing from not having the programme money during the summer. Then the trick will be continuing to do the papers if I can during the winter as well meaning a net increase in my money!

Today and for the rest of the week is pretty much "staying-in" time although I do have a meal (freebie) to go to on Thursday night, paid for by the football club.

Apologies for the lack of updates lately. The laptop packed up on Tuesday night so have been without one since then...:(. Never realised how lost I am without it....

Wednesday was a quiet day, just picked up the boys in the afternoon from school and dropped them back at 7.30pm.

Thursday morning was spent working on the website, dropped yet more paperwork into the solicitors and then went to meet the mediators on our case. They have said, after the meeting, that they see no need for mediation as they believe it's gone too far now. The mediator gave me the paperwork to go to the solicitor.

Then last night went down for a freebie meal for the programme. Yummy food (I had steak and ale pie, chips and a selection of veg followed by Bread & Butter pudding and cream) and all free as a thank you for the work on the programme. Spent about £6 on drinks though.

Also picked up three huge boxes of stationery free from Gumtree.com website - probably picked up too much really but it was all free of charge including about 30-40 lever arch files, ring binders etc.

Today was the third day of doing the early morning courier run before going shopping ( a thrifty £14 total) then packing away yesterday's stationery load. Collected kids from school for the weekend which looks busy with football training tomorrow morning and a football / swimming party in the afternoon.

Today seemed to go okay really. Football training this morning before going home, grabbing lunch and taking the boys to a football / swimming party this afternoon.

Tonight just stayed in and chilled with the boys while watching the Champions League Final. Only spends today were 80p for a parking ticket at the party!!

Tomorrow, have nothing on the agenda except taking the twins home at 5pm, hopefully with a lie-in too.

Ah well, didn't get the lie-in I was hoping for but no matter, had a relaxing day anyhow. Twins weren't up for doing much today as they had a busy, tiring day yesterday so we chilled all day instead before I took them home tonight...:(

Since they went home, I've finally cleared the hall of stationery, sorted out the spare bedroom, sorted out the football kit and packed away the washing from a load done earlier.

Tomorrow and Tuesday also look set to be quiet days too with no boys, no work except for the odd bit of website stuff and little money to use.

Really strange day today but ultimately fulfilling. No boys as mentioned yesterday and as they weren't at school, no hurry to get up to ring them though I did call them at 9am just after getting up.

Rest of the day spent finally sorting out my DRO paperwork and getting a housekeeping budget down on paper. Probably the best day of organising myself I've had in years and long over due. I have a big desk as I work from home, it's an Ikea birch Mikael workstation that's 5' wide and I stripped it bare today to get it sorted once and for all.

Not sure where the energy and the motivation came from but I'm not grumbling!! There's a couple of cupboards around the house that need equal attention on them to sort them out but I'm chuffed I got it done. Tomorrow looks good for that although as I get some money tomorrow, shopping is one chore plus a couple of other trips, one to the solicitor again and another to measure a football pitch... it's a long story! :D

Another good day today with the new energy and motivation returning for another visit.:D

Was paid £180 today but sadly it's nearly all gone already as had to tax the car (£118), do some shopping in Asda (£38) and diesel up the car (£15) leaving me £9 - where does it all go??

Did four hours solid work on the website today too plus a trip to the tip, another form into the solicitors and even went to the football pitch to measure it ahead of next season's matches. Also sorted out the team for this weekend's tournaments, two long phone calls with the boys and chased up my insurance excess claim which is now three months late.

Tomorrow I've got the DX run both morning and evening meaning I'll earn about £25 extra plus I've got the boys for a few hours and I'm meeting a prospective new player for the under-11's team at 8pm.
