The car's back at last, boy how I've missed that these past two days!! The good news on top is that it will only cost £75 and not £100 and my courier mate has paid for it and will let me repay him on the 20th when my FC money goes in...:j

Boys are here and have been good as gold today though I'm not so sure they've been the same for their mum...

Tomorrow is the first game of the new football season and we'll be heading down there after lunch. Can't wait and hope we can start with a win and three points....

Good start to the footie season today with the team winning 2-1 against a side managed by the previous manager...

Other than that, not much to report really. Spent £12 on petrol and £4 on a mini-shop plus £6 on gas. It's been so long since I've had to buy gas so I had actually run out and had none for my bacon rolls this morning...:o

Not much planned tomorrow except to finish off the programme for Tuesday nights game.

A no spend here today in Smart Mart land...:D. Haven't really gone out today to be honest except to drop the boys home to their mum....:(. Took them around the park for an hour and a bit to blow some cobwebs away this aftenoon. DS3 isn't himself at the moment, hasn't wanted breakfast these past two days and took himself off to bed yesterday morning at 7.30am and snoozed for another three hours...

Got quite a bit done on the website today and wrote two articles for the programme as well. Completed the proof reading this evening as well, it's been hard work as we had three home pre-season friendly matches plus three out of the first four competitive games are home as well!!

Down at the club in the mroning for a meeting, over to Dorset o look in on my older two (DS1 passed his driving test first time on Friday) and back down to the club yet again on Tuesday for the Carling Cup match.

Quite a good day really although I didn't get a lot done at work. Immediately went into a meeting with the chief exec and then into another one with the media manager regarding our roles for the forthcoming season.

Had lunch then another meeting with the chief exec about the possibility in extending my role at the club in two other directions. This may mean more money depending on funding it as my job comes out of one budget yet I'd be directly assisting two other departments.

Off over to Dorset to see my oldest two children, treated them to a chip supper (£8.80) and earlier paid my rent and stuck £30 of fuel in the car.

Tomorrow it's football again and taking the boys down with them staying over night and going back on Wednesday morning before returning on Wednesday tea time for football training.

Didn't really feel like posting either yesterday or today so I'll keep it pretty brief.

Went to football last night, the team lost 1-0 and on the way home, heard that one of our former players had lost his battle with cancer. Sad at any age but Adam would have been just 32 next month...:(:(:(

Did a little shopping today but have been walking around in a daze today. Think it was about a tenner.

Back down at the club tomorrow as well... that will be four visits in the last six days.

Went to the club today and things are picking up a bit there although understandably everyone is shocked by the news.

Wrote two articles, attended the press conference and met the chief exec regarding an idea I had about the non-renewals of the season tickets.

Spent £15 on petrol and £2 on lunch.

Delivered two lots of papers this morning before going shopping and spending £17.83. Wrote some articles for the website then picked the boys up from their mums at 2.30pm.

Football training at 5.45pm, showered the boys after and now just chlling online!

Tomorrow is the first away game of the season but luckily it's only six miles from my house so actually the shortest trip of the season.

Got absolutely soaked today at football and the team lost 2-1 capping a quite dreadful week. Lost a player to a suspected broken leg too though the physio rang tonight and said a fracture has been ruled out.

Spent £32.00 on tickets plus £3 on a programme but took our own food and drink to save money.

Tomorrow will be Match of the Day in bed with a bacon bap and a bowl of cereal having a cuddle with the boys I think. Not many Sundays left before their football fixtures start so making the most of it.

Lovely chilled out morning as predicted last night in the thread...:D

Took the boys around the park this afternoon before they went home. Two hours in the sunshine then marking the pitch ready for the boys football match on Wednesday. Home for a tea and a shower via Tesco's for £2.65 worth of shopping.

Tomorrow and Tuesday have decided to attempt to get all my paperwork sorted as no plans to go anywhere and no money either.

Didn't even leave the house today but managed to get most of my paperwork sorted out. Have another day like this tomorrow except I also need to mow the lawn, sort the recycling out and weed the gardens front and back.

Needless to say, a no spend day today.:j
