Forgot to update again last night, I'm getting forgetful in my old age!

Monday and Tuesday have been pretty quiet really. Went shopping this morning spending £20 on shopping and £20 on a Freeview box. Have been thinking for a while about ditching Virgin Media and going for a free set top box.

Sadly got it home and couldn't get it to work. Looked online for a solution and it appears that as a cable customer, I can't use their cable for Freeview. As Virgin Media is the only "cable" coming into the house (no normal aerial) then I can't have Freeview.:( Ah well, the thought was there.

Tomorrow I'm off to the laundry then two paper rounds, picking the boys up from school, taking them to football training then back home to finish Saturday's football programme.

Went to the launderette this morning, spent £5.20 on my weekly wash! Straight home to pick up 230 papers for delivery and had finished them before lunchtime.

Picked boys up from school, fed them, took them to football training then home for a bath afterwards.

Tonight have been working on the friendly programme for Saturday's match.

Tomorrow's gonna be a long one. Housework and a paper round in the morning followed by a trip to Dorset to collect my daughter and her friend. Taking them to a gig tomorrow night in Cardiff and they're staying overnight too dropping them back on Friday morning.

Earlier update today while I'm still compos mentis.

Currently sat in Pizza Hut car park in Cardiff - taken the daughter to see a concert with her friend tonight and I'm working away on my laptop until they come out about midnight!!

Spent £3.70 on tea here and put £40.00 of petrol in yesterday. Hopefully will be home around 1pm-ish then taking the girls back tomorrow morning, returning in time to pick the boys up from school on their last day.

Been a long day today folks.

Got home last night around 1.30am and woke up at eight. Dropped the girls home at twelve and got back in time to do some shopping (£14.65) before collecting the boys from school.

Had tea then we went around the park where the boys played football and I watched the local team play. They're in bed early tonight as tomorrow is going to be a busy one. They have a tournament in the morning then off down to watch our team take on Manchester United in a benefit match.

Great day today as our team beat Manchester United 3-2 in a benefit match. After going one down, they thrilled the 7,000 strong crowd with a three goal burst in four minutes and held on despite United scoring another.

Got a programme for £3.00 (normally get them free but as it was a benefit one, paid today) and spent a tenner on petrol. Almost forgot that the boys had a tournament this morning where one side reached the quarter finals and the other team the semi finals. I had one twin in each and had to leave at 1pm so only one twin got to see the football...:(

Tomorrow will undoubtedly be quieter although I've just arranged to pick up a 28" Panasonic TV free of charge from Gumtree. it's identical to my front room telly so will fit in well upstairs in my bedroom.

    Funny old day today.

Got up normal time and went to pick up the telly free on Gumtree yesterday. Absolute bargain and a gent to deal with too...:T

Dropped in on the harbour on the way back for an hour. Always used to pop in and pick up a coffee and a rock cake while down there but some b****ds burnt the place down a few weeks back. Glad to see that they're all back up and running now though, will partake for sure soon.:D

Took the boys around the park for an hour this afternoon before I took them home. No quiz tonight as we're giving it a miss now but managed to get a shower plus my front room sorted plus some paperwork as well.

Spends today was just £4.30 on three ice creams at the harbour... nothing else!!

Today started off like a train and slowed down somewhat as I went along...:D

Was paid today so paid my rent, did a little shopping, paid my CSA maintenance and put some petrol in the car (20 Nectar points....:j).

Also found a burst of energy from somewhere so went to the tip and recycled my old 32" telly, scrapped an old desk I got free from Gumtree a few weeks ago (too big for front room really) and got shot of a lot of old papers and leaflets.

This afternoon I slowed down a bit. Had five articles to write for the website then my old courier boss rang up to offer a job for tonight, my old business post job as a one-off. Paid cash too...:T

Rang the boys tonight and have worked on Wednesday's programme since then before heading off to bed in a few minutes.

Tomorrow I really must get into the content writing stuff (half offered a job writing contents for websites last week) and examine it closely. Need to go to the laundry either tomorrow or Wednesday and have more website stuff to do too.

Another brief update tonight as I'm a tired boy...:o

Tuesday - went to laundry early on to get it out of the way, managed to get away with £4.60 as nothing heavy needed washing hence it dried in the tumble dryer quicker.

Worked on the website for most of the rest of the day and got another courier job in the evening paying another £30. With the car's MOT due on Monday, good job these ad-hoc jobs are coming through.

Today the papers were late being delivered so could only finish one round before lunch. Did a quick shop around Tesco Express costing £7.30 then picked the boys up at 2pm. Went around the park for an hour before tea then afterwards, went down to see my fourth pre-season friendly with them. Got home about an hour ago, they're in bed now and staying until 10am tomorrow.

Speaking of tomorrow, dropping them back, lots of website and programme work to finish off, an interview at 7pm, two paper rounds as well....

Also weighed myself today and have lost another four pounds ...

Another busy two days have gone past since my last update.

Thursday - delivered two lots of papers and did yet more website work in the afternoon. Went shopping at 10.45pm as had an interview with a referee at 7pm and wanted to finish it off before shopping. (£15.82). Stuck £15 of petrol in too.

Friday - was media day at the football club so had to organise thirty players and staff to sit still while the pics were taken for the papers and the television. Spent £2.00 on lunch and £1.45 on some well-deserved sweets on the way home.

Picked boys up at 4pm and fed them before football training. Home for a shower then Celebrity Masterchef and finally bed. Been doing articles all evening ahead of the season's first game next week.
