Today didn't really pan out as it should have done hence I didn't get everything done as planned.

Stayed in most of the day (only £1.60 until tomorrow) and only went out to get some milk and biscuits this evening. Hurt my back somewhere along the line and ended up going back to bed for two hours this afternoon to ease the discomfort. Watched Doctors, Murder She Wrote and Diagnosis Murder so not all bad really.

Hopefully tomorrow will see the pain ease a little as two paper rounds to do plus I'm likely to be refereeing the first under-ten football match of the season tomorrow evening.

Went to football last night, the team lost 1-0 and on the way home, heard that one of our former players had lost his battle with cancer. Sad at any age but Adam would have been just 32 next month...:(:(:(

:( sorry to hear your sad news, so young aswell.

Well an eventful two days since I last posted.

Refereed the under-tens football match on Wednesday night (the boys won 9-0) and went home after dropping the boys back to their mums. Woke up in the morning with a stiff back and drove down to the club (75 minutes away). More or less as soon as I got down there, the back flared up and I could only manage till 2pm before I packed up and came home again.:(

Went to bed, got up at teatime for half an hour then back to bed and stayed there till 9am this morning. The pain was excruciatingly bad, couldn't sleep a wink as couldn't get comfortable at all...:(.

Went and registered at the local doctors this morning and she gave me Diplofenac (an anti-inflammatory) plus some co-codamol. It's worked so far though I have to eat with the prescribed drug otherwise I'll end up with an upset tum.

Managed to drag myself round Asda this afternoon (£27.83) and picked the boys up for the weekend. Tomorrow we're going to see my daughter as it was her birthday on Thursday then on to football afterwards. Sunday is the next under-tens game but I'm not going to referee it, it's too much of a risk to take.

As a footnote, the weight loss has gone well. I've eaten like it's gone out of fashion today but I didn't eat anything between 5pm last night and 10.30am this morning.

The weight loss has gone well and it would be nice to get down below the next stone in the next ten days if possible. That would mean another four pounds lost and three stone in four months. I could easily have lost another stone on top of that but I've blown out a couple of times too....:o

Up early today and took the boys to see DS1 and DD1 in Dorset this morning. They don't get all together that often but its lovely when they do. Spent a couple of hours there before going straight to football where the team put on an abject performance and lost 2-0.

Treated us to a McDonalds tonight (first one for months) tonight and a Golden Gamble ticket at football plus £20 of petrol was the only spends today. Tomorrow sees the boys football match in the morning and a restful afternoon with luck.

Thanks BB....three people who I see fairly regularly mentioned it yesterday although my polo shirt I was wearing yesterday seemed exceptionally baggy for some reason....:D

Funny old day today though I do say that rather too often sometimes...;)

Boys and I had cereal and a bacon roll breakfast in bed this morning before their football match where they won 9-2...:T. Showered them when they got home, made dinner and chilled out this afternoon. Dropped them home at teatime then tonight we went to the quiz for the first time in the month. The quiz is in two parts and we won both of them winning £50 between the three of us....

Bought some petrol and a treat or two on the way home (£11.27). Tomorrow looks set to be another paperwork day and working on the website too....

As predicted, it's been a quiet busy day today. Been working on the website and that's been pretty much it. Paid my rent this evening and picked up some bits from Asda (£11.83).

Tomorrow really must get the garden weeded, lawn mowed, recycling done, house tidied up and paperwork finished. Also need to get the diet back on track as have put on quite a few pounds this past week .....

Not got everything done today but a little more organised than when I woke up this morning....;)

Did the laundry run today (£5.60) and it may be the last time I need to do it as my courier friend knows someone who has a nice one in good nick for sale at £75 and is willing to take it over three months...:T.

Was going to take the boys to golf tomorrow but the weather forecast is horrid so will leave it, I think, until Friday. The twins are coming round earlier tomorrow so will get some houswork and paperwork done while they're here.
