Absolutely shattered already, shan't be doing much more today methinks.;)
Got up at 6.30am, had breakfast then went shopping in Asda (just a small shop - £15). Back home, rang the boys then went out to deliver the newspapers. Finished them, came home for a coffee then back out to deliver the Betterware books.
Home now for a couple of hours then picking the boys up from school for the weekend.:D0 -
Exactly as predicted, did nothing more than pick the boys up from school....:D
DS2 has a football tournament on Sunday and we're going back to Bath Cinema on Sunday for the England game afterwards so probably won't over exert ourselves tomorrow either.:D:D0 -
Just weighed myself and lost another three pounds. This means a total loss approaching two stone.
I set out to lose a stone a month (tricky but as I'm a bloke, easier than for a woman if you ask me) and the first month I did it. The second month is up on Thursday and I need to lose another three pounds by then.
I think losing a stone for the third month is possible but difficult but seeing as I've just started doing Betterware plus I'm still doing the newspapers, I might just do it.0 -
Short update really as not a lot to say. Stayed in for most of the day apart from going around the rec with the boys a couple of times. As I said before, DS2 has a football tournament tomorrow so didn't want him worn out ahead of it.
Should be back around 1pm, quick shower and lunch then over to Bath to watch the England game....:T:beer::j
No quiz tomorrow night as the other two members are away on holiday.0 -
I haven't been on on your thread for ages Smart-wow you are doing so well with the weight loss! Keep it up! (oops hope you don't take that the wrong way
) I haven't read very far back-so you are doing Betterware now? I hope it goes well for you, the people around here say they struggle as this area has a very high number of very elderly people who won't even open the door to return the catalogue! I hope you get a much better result than that.
Tomorrow is always fresh, with no mistakes in it!0 -

Hi Suzy, good to see you out and about, so to speak.:T
I've only just started Betterware (literally - first lot of books went out Friday, collecting tomorrow) but keep lurking and you'll see how good (or not) it's going....:D0 -
Boys had their football tournament this morning. I say "boys" but it was still only DS2 as DS3 is still in plaster for a few more days. They did very well but got knocked out on penalties in the semi-finals....:(
Bought an ice cream for each of us (£3.75), a programme (£1.00) and got some nibbles for the England match from the shop (£4.51). Was really p***ed off with the Odeon who advertised that the game was to be shown at the local cinema. Drove there (about 12 miles, twenty minutes or so) only to find that they weren't after all. Cue three disappointed people.
Took the boys back at 5pm then just chilled this evening as the pub quiz team is all over the country tonight and didn't fancy doing it alone tonight.0 -
To say today was a day of two halves would be just about spot on, I think...:D:(
Started off okay. Woke up stupidly early with the sun streaming through the windows (might have to wear a blindfold) so got up. Went into town for a haircut and picked up a roll on the way back before nipping into Asda for a few bits and bobs then getting some petrol. Then disaster.... a brake pad flew off another car smashing through the wall of my back tyre ripping it into shreds. Limped home and will have to wait until Wednesday to get it fixed....
Spends were haircut £10.50, roll £1.50, parking £2.00 and shopping £11.42.
Had to pick up the 150 Betterware books this afternoon on foot and as they're too heavy to carry more than sixty at a time, had to go back again later.. Poor day order-wise with just three orders from 110 returned books.
Ah well, tomorrow is another day!0 -
Been a bit of a nothing day today really as I can't get the car fixed until tomorrow.
Collected the last lot of Betterware books this morning (no more orders) and for the rest of the day have been writing articles for the website and mooching around. Walked down to the post office and bought a family bar of Caramel and a paper (£1.38) but that has been it.
Tomorrow OTOH seems action packed. Get car fixed in morning, deliver two paper rounds, go to sports day at 1.30pm, collect boys from school, give them tea and take them to football training.0 -
Up and at 'em early again this morning as full of beans....:p . Took the car to local garage this morning and they fitted new tyre for £30 which wasn't too bad. Delivered one round of papers, did a small shop around Sainsbury's (£2.93), bought DS1 a pair of football boots as his last pair gave him a blister last week but got a good deal in SportsDirect.com (just £6.00).
Went to their sports day this afternoon and picked them up from school straight afterwards. Fed them and took them to football training, the last session that DS3 can't take part in. He has the cast removed from his arm tomorrow morning so can take part in the non-contact stuff from next week hopefully.
Went to Asad tonight and bought a smart polo shirt for work tomorrow (£6.00) and a small pack of muffins as a treat for losing another pound. That's two months gone now and one stone twelve pounds gone....:T
Off to the football club tomorrow then on to visit my oldest two children afterwards for tea and a chilling out session. Should be a busy day at the club as we're revealing the new kit tomorrow and pre-season training starts as well.:T0
