But he was concerend about the possibility of losing additional help and training which is still a benefit because training costs the taxpayer, as does the time providing additional help.:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:No but he never said he was using his benefit money to pay for it either did he:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:0 -

Yes i see that, but he never once said he was going to commit fraund did he, he also never asked for all the assumptions to be made that he was using state benefits to pay for his holiday, but he got no end of comments saying he was. he asked for specific advice on wether he could carry on with the six month time limit for training or if he would have to start again which to him does not seem fair.
All of the arguments have started because narrow minded people read comments without fully taking in and understanding what is being said. They jump to the wrong conclusion that he is a benefit cheat after a free holiday on the state when infact he was just after clarifacation on a couple of points that the JC could not answer.0 -

The JC did answer. They said he will be told about the ‘help and training’ options WHEN he make a new claim. This is because procedures may change while he is away and the advice given could therefore be wrong. By trying to circumvent or seek opinions on what the JSP advice will be he is looking for ways to take advantage of the system, otherwise why not follow the official guidance already given by JSP?Yes i see that, but he never once said he was going to commit fraund did he, he also never asked for all the assumptions to be made that he was using state benefits to pay for his holiday, but he got no end of comments saying he was. he asked for specific advice on wether he could carry on with the six month time limit for training or if he would have to start again which to him does not seem fair.

Maybe but this is the jsa we are taking about, and he is going very soon, in a few weeks if i remember correctly. Take it from me, nothing usually changes within the jsa some rules are so draconian you wouldn't believe. i don't know why they couldn't have given him some idea as the rules stood at that time. I do know that if you shut your claim down for a couple of weeks and do a rapid reclaim you don't have to make a fresh claim. You do however have a note put on every insurance claim you may get them to sign that you have been signing on from the new date and not when you first claimed. This might have an effect on any insurance claims as it is now technically not a continous claim. The same might apply to the six month training rule, but i don't know for sure...0 -
