  • Have been lurking on this for a while and think I've got the gist of it now. I need a kick to do the jobs, as some (ironing???) have become the 'monster in the corner' that are now too big to tackle.
Should I wait for the tomorrow to start?

  • Welcome Gilligan - I'm sure you will find this thread a big help, I find it really motivating! Why not do half an hour ironing this morning (HHI) and that will help you to feel a bit better about it! Do a little bit today and it will be much easier tomorrow. I will put a :xmastree:so that people know you are new. Our official meeter and greeter Toots is a bit under the weather at the mo, but I'm sure you will get a warm welcome from everyone

  • Morning all! It's absolutely pouring with rain here, and it's really dark! DH is still sleeping, I might go back for an hour later as have a really busy afternoon. Not planning to do much flying today, hope to get the washing up done and do some washing, and get ready for Phase 2 tomorrow! :T

    Floor swept
Chucking it down with rain here, was off to Bicester outlet village for a wander around, but unless the rain eases off I won't be going too far.
Going to wrap up the mirror lego packets I have got so far, I find it really fiddly for some reason, then going to do x*** stock check and see what I am still missing / need to get.

Good morning all, slept late for church this morning but felt I could not waste the time by going back to bed so have got up, made DD breakfast....slept something funny in the fridge so cleaned that out...then cleaned up the dog mess and emptied the ashtray. Going to make a cuppa now and do some bits from the list..............

Hope you are all well, really windy here and my mother and stepfather are trvelling back from Holland today so hope the ferry crossing is not too bad xx
  • Morning everybody

I dont supposed you missed me did you!!! well never mind I missed you
Thanks for all the kind wishes - they mean a lot to me xx

Its nice to be back on line properly and feeling a bit better - not 100% but do seem to have a bit more strength again.
Treatment went ok - but did have a couple of bad days wher I needed oxygen - didnt get much in the way of real rest as i didnt have a room to myself this time and the other inmates were really noisy - chatting till gone midnight then demanding tea at 6am!!! So yesterday was spent sleeping mostly!!!

But I am here and will let the lovely Soappie have a well earned break - I hope you lot havent been giving her a hard time - Thank you so much for doing the stars this week - you deserve a medal! xx

Ok better check up on stars and see what you have been doing
    back soon
    toots xx

    Peace will be mine
could do better - must try harder

Just had a really nice chat and tea with LadyL and her hubby. Thank you to you both. Feel guilty cos I talked about myself and school so much, but LadyL and her hubby have a little inside knowledge about my school too. Hope it won't be so long in between visits next time. We'll have to set a possible date to aim to meet up on that we can look forward to at a weekend and next time I will try not to talk quite so much about me!

Maybe I should see if I can find some huge fake talon nails and paint them with orange nail varnish in honour of halloween LadyL! ;)

Sexy you know you are welcome anytime & if we can help we will :D don't forget to do those nails ;) & remember to eat :p will be thinking of you this coming week xxxx

    Morning Everyone

It is absolutely foul here, dark, wet,& windy.....so not good for the BD

My DS came home last night, so that he could go to a Halloween party (pics on FB ;) ) he is going back to uni later today....so only a quick visit....twas lovely to see him though.

Special love & hugs to toots,MSD,& Mudders xx

Welcome to the newbies....have a good Sunday all xx

All done (with some minor substitutions). I am proud to announce that at 3.08pm on Friday the whole house was clean, tidy and smelling nice. It lasted for 17 minutes till the party started :rotfl:.

Still drowning in work and other problems and struggling with epic insomnia so apologies for not catching up or answering any messages.

:rotfl: reminds me of the day all those years ago when you had completed everything - I still hold you in high esteem for that. Hugs sweetie and hope you are in a better calmer place soon.

I've emptied WM, put clothes on the maiden, put away yesterday's wash and stripped out bed.

DH plans involve being in the garage all day.

DS2 is so much better, thank you for all your kind wishes Frodders, Soappie, Lil_me and anyone I've forgotten.

Off to the bathroom now - going to give it a quick clean and then have my shower.
