    Morning all

We in the Rach household didn't get up until almost 10  :D which I needed I think, though I did nip to the loo at 6.30 and get the chicken out of the freezer....hope it will be defrosted in time to put in at about 3.30! I should've got it out last night!

I was going to go into town shopping this am whilst DH did a practice exam but it's so wet and windy. He usually uses the lounge table but we've moved another table into the study so he can do it there. He'll be finished just before 2pm so my plans are: watch casualty, drink a few cuppas and lots of water (bit headachey after sleeping in!), strip the bed, do some dusting, clean the bathroom, prep the veg for dinner....then I can dyson round later once he has finished. Must also re-wax the coffee table, wax is sitting looking at me!! Think we might also nip out for a coffee later.

dusty - glad DS2 is feeling better
soappie - great re football - something lovely to look forward to
L-L - good to see you popping in, I agree out in the rain is the best place for the BD!
greenbee - well done for supporting the farmers! I must try our local farm shop...if I get my bike sorted I could cycle there! I am doing cycle training next week at work so I'll need to get out there! ETA: see you've changed your mind! sensible I think really.
hex - hugs babe, sounds like you've a lot of balls in the air at the moment.
    toots - welcome home, honey.

I think DH has a touch of the BD too, he was going on last night (when I was desperate for sleep!) about how much he hates his job etc. Problem is he just doesn't enjoy working and I'm not sure he really ever will, sadly it's a necessary evil as I pointed out!

Anyway, I'll stop waffling and make another cuppa to have whilst watching casualty. I'll be back later to strike some stuff off a list, but i'm not sure i'll get any stars!

    Good morning, all.

Nice to see that you're back, toots. Hope you get plenty of rest.

We all had a lie-in this morning and DS1 hasn't come back from his party/sleep-over yet. It's miserable here today, too, and the rain is unlikely to shift until much later. I've got a busy day today, on account of the CBA mood yesterday, but will have to factor in some breaks to keep DS2 happy.

    This is it:
Today’s absolute essentials – in no particular order:

    L1 in all rooms – here’s what’s left:
Wednesday ~ Kitchen of Grot and Dining Room of Gloom
    Level One
    Declutter and mop/vacuum the floors
    Find and wipe the worksurfaces

    Thursday ~ Childrens pits (x2)
    Level One

    Declutter and vacuum the floor
    Friday ~ Bathroom
    Level One

    Declutter, sweep and mop floor

    WM x 2
    DW x1 (or 2, depending)
    Listen to DS2 read/writing practice
    Cook tea and clear up
Cook diet lunch and tea for me
DS2’s ‘special book’ – write about festival
    Visit friend
    Write up for SMT
    Mark books for Monday’s classes
    Plan for 9FL2
    Find/iron clothes for tomorrow
    Pack DS2’s school stuff
    Pack my school stuff
Write list for tomorrow (incl dailies in diary) and add extras for the week
    tidy living room

Another cuppa/breakfast + time to get DH out of bed, then I'll make a start.

    HHC at 11.30, anyone?

Hi Toots - take it easy! Let yourself catch up on the missed rest.
    Take care (((hugs)))
and you too Lady L -

hope you both have some peace, rest and comfort

    ^^^^^^^^
    Wot she said.

Lovely to hear from you both.

It's dark, wet and windy here. :( Glad I don't have to go anywhere.

Decided I am spending (wasting) too much time on the 'puter - need to get more organised.
