Filthy weather here too - wet and windy and dull.
Great to see you back Toots - hopefully you'll get some rest now you're back at home.
Thanks for dropping in Lady-L. Can you light a fire to cheer things up indoor, and do as Dusty says and put the BD out in the rain?
I had a lie-in as it was wet and horrible outside. I've now had breakfast and need to get dressed, put some washing on and head off to the farmers' market. I was thinking of giving it a miss, but I then felt bad for all the stallholders, and I do NEED stuff! Plus it'll do me good to get out, however briefly, and hopefully I'll then get my act together at home
I have a couple of £5 Boots no.7 vouchers that are valid until next Sunday if anyone is interested...0 -
I see we have been visited by Toots and L-L, bigs hugs for you both, and a special one to MSD
:rotfl: We both go missing for a week toots then post at the same time  nice to see we were missed though :A
Welcome back sweetie....hope you can get some rest xx
Hugs to Jinks my FB buddiexx

Morning lovelies,
Wet, windy and cold here this morning a really miserable day!
So far I have made curry for tonights dinner when the kids get back wooohooo :j
put a load of washing on, tidied the kitchen, done the bathroom/toilet and made my bed. Will spend 5 minutes on the lounge straightning the cushions and dusting then will only have ironing to do later (oh and probably a weeks worth of washing off the kids!) dont think the ex MIL thinks to do their washing but hey never mind.
Ive had a great weekend, went on my "blind date" on Friday and had a really really great time, good food, great company what more could you ask for!Infact it went that well that he took me out for a meal last night which was smashing and so far today he has text me 5 times  Dont know whats going to happen as from now only time will tell.
Hope everyone has been enjoying their weekend

I daren't even glance at the state of the house.. but I doubt it'll tidy itself!
I have small pinks to bath this morning then we ar etaking OH's sister home.. and popping in to see his mum with the small pinks.. should be fun.. they don't travel well, hopefully today they'll be fine.. extra clothes will be taken just in case!
Best move.. showers, clothes, food and at least a small amount of tidying required!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
OK... I'm trying to be sensible. I don't really NEED to go to the farmers' market, so I'm going to get on with the stuff I need to get done. I've been putting it off for long enough already
So off to put on some washing, make a cup of tea and sort out a proper list :eek:0 -
Back from holiday. Had a fantastic week but now have MOUNTAINS of washing and ironing. I'ts pouring with rain so the tumble dryer is taking a hammering. My electricity metre is going round like a cartoon clock.
Had a lovely evening out with friends last night so have a slightly sore head today but am a WOMAN ON A MISSION.
Keep me on the straight and narrow. I must not be distracted, a beautiful clean home WILL be mine.
In case you haven't guessed by now I'm in for the new week0 -

That's really great, considering how wary you were before you went. And if it doesn't go anywhere, at least you had a nice weekend and broke the ice, as far as dating is concerned. WTG, dreamy.0 -
