Im searching and searching for more information about this product, so far all i have found is: http://www.kworld.com.tw/uk/index_digital.htm. The model is listed as a KWorld DVB-T 355U. And unfortunatly for you linux fans, the site only offers Win XP drivers.
If anyone gets this to work with more then four channels please let me know.
Received dongle yesterday - day early!. Connected to roof aerial and tuned in to 67 free tv & radio channels. incl BBC 1,2,3,4, ITV 1,2,3,BBC world, Sky News, Sky Sports News etc. Kit works brilliantly even though Roof Aerial is 18 years old and according to Freeview thier service is not yet available to our postcde. It is also worth noting that BBC 3 & 4 do not transmit until after 7pm.
One happy bunny especially as I bought it at the cheaper price.Incidentally it's running on Windows XP Pro SP2 on a standard Dell 2.6 ghz Celeron machine fitted with 1028 mb of memory. Hope this helps0 -
Got mine a couple of days after ordering and the aerial that comes with it is beyond useless but this was expected...
Worked perfectly with roof aerial and picked up all the freeview channels within minutes of searching. Running it from a cheap dell laptop with 256MB Ram no problem. If you're feeling down, you must be holding a duck.0 -
At eBuyer.
This plugs into a USB 2.0 port on your PC/laptop and, if the signal is good enough, allows you to watch Freeview digital TV with no additional equipment. Never seen one this cheap before.
EDIT: Apologies - hadn't found the original post. At least it's got a bump
Can I help?0 -
is it just me or can you not get channel 4 and ITV 1,2 or 3 on these PC freeview thins?
I have the MSI model and that wont pick up the above, whereas I believe the normal conventional TV freeview boxes will.
Also some of the channels are not active even though they show on the list, i think they are scrambled
Any idea why?0 -

Sounds like you are not receiving multiplex 2 - this has the ITV channels and channel4, also More4 and E4.
Some multiplexes, particularly the BBC multiplex 1, always give a stronger signal. I would try a better antenna, the small ones supplied with these devices are usually only OK in the strongest signal areas.
Note also that some of the freeview boxes, particularly Sagems, are much more sensitive than these adapters, for the reasons mentioned earlier...0 -
youre right i am using the freebie aerial as my house does not have one, we use cable tv in the lounge.
any idea where I can get a better one to attach to the MSI?0 -
If you need an internal antenna, you will probably need an good amplified one - you could try Argos? You could always take it back then if it doesn't work...;)0
